I'm only disappointed in Preston being there---sick & tired of horrible competitors being brought back. And I'm shocked by the dislike of Emily--makes no sense at all. Same with the Sarah hatred. This is a competition--bring the best--lose the weak.
Anyway--thanks molds--predictable cast but lots of solid competitors.
First of all: A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO MOLDS! Great job with the pictures (specially Paula's)
With that said, I think that the rookies vs vets concept is valid if they put Jonna or Emily in the rookie team. Jasmine and Theresa are on their 4th challenge so I think they can't be rookies. Emily's debut on challenges was ealier than Jonna but Jonna debut was at the same time that Jasmine's. So IDK how they will do that.
First of all, big thanks to Molds not only for the clarification, but also for this pictures^^
If Wes is still a good social player, he should form an alliance with Danny, Tyrie, Dunbar, Derek, Sarah, Jonna, Jasmine, Trishelle and Sarah. This is the only way he would survive some episodes and even be a favorite for a final.
However, the way this shows works it will definitely be a
CT vs. Johnny or Frank vs. Zach elimination round (If its a new Gauntlet)
or
Either CT/Johnny vs. either Frank/Zach (If its really a Ruins 2)
Emily vs. Cooke
I still don't understand why they'd put Jasmine or Theresa on the vets side but not cast Cara Maria considering she had a legitimate problem with the rookies last season and should be there to get her revenge
Let me just say Easter Came early. I. Love this cast. I love it. They hit it out the park with this one. Not since the inferno 2 we have had an terrific cast like this. This is great. I love that fact that Danny, Thersea, and Emily, along my fellow NC girl yes I am from Nc Jessica is on ther. Love the cast. This is going to be the best season ever.

I put who I would change if I was making the cast. I'm glad Devyn's not on the list but am really pissed that they are bringing back worthless competitors like Jasmine, Preston, Trishelle, Danny, Naomi, and Tyrie. I also think Wes, Sarah, Paula, and Camila have done too many of these. Give them a break.
Great cast! I am confused about one thing though. Why are people wishing for an elimination round with Frank? I've seen a lot of people posting they wish CT or Johnny vs. Frank. Is it because they want to see CT/Johnny demolish Frank?? Personally I think I would rather see a CT/Johnny vs. Zach (however, after seeing Zach's performance against CJ in the last challenge, I wasn't that impressed with him).
Also, doesn't Trey remind you of a mini-Brad?

I somewhat get the Sarah hate, as she's done 7 in a row and that can get boring, but don't get the Emily hate whatsoever.
I just don't get BMP/MTV. I LOVED the casting for last season - it was fresh and original, and gave us the chance to see a lot of castmembers we would not have seen otherwise on a challenge (Devyn, Lacey, etc.). I don't blame, however, MTV/BMP for going back to the normal casting considering the lackluster ratings.
That being said, I don't understand why are they are casting Zach, Frank & Sam again?? America obviously doesn't want to see them - they ruined the ratings for both Real World and the Challenge.
I can understand casting 4 people from Vegas 2 and 3 people from NOLA because they were both highly rated seasons for MTV (especially Vegas).
Also, the "old-schoolers" that were cast other than perhaps Trishelle, Bananas & CT are not fan favorites typically. I don't think a lot of viewers want to see Tyrie, Danny , etc.

Haha I called Danny being there and its a nice cast good blend with the new Rookies vs Johnny CT Paula etc. Hopefully some of these people who deserve a win like CT Diem Sarah and Emily finally win thats all I really want.

I was thinking about 8 teams of 4. One rookie male and female and one veteran male and female on a team. I would hope they would do just 2 teams. I want to see individual eliminations again.

gauntlet 2 has 32 case members, and gauntlet 3 did too. All the other challenges had less. Cutthroat has 28 and ruins had something similar. my best bet is it is gauntlet 4, but the rules will be different. just like they were different from gauntlet 2 to 3
Why is nobody thinking it could be a duel 3... It's not the cast I would pick for a duel but it's the only one that would make sense to me with this line up

They're not gonna have a Duel with 32 people on it
with the Jonna/Emily who is a vet debate, they could say Emily is a Vet since shes been in 2 finals and 5-0 in elimination rounds where Jonna has never been in a final and has only won 1 elimination round.
As for the cast, I'm actually loving it! Even with the "fillers" that I don't like I feel this is the way to bring new people into the show. Not like last season when almost all of them were new. I like this balance.

I wouldn't say they hit the cast out the park, but its not. And it's good to see a fellow North Carolinian in the house. Lol
considering the younger audience won't remember Trishelle from the older RW/RR challenges, I wouldn't be surprised if they put her on the Rookies team. However I'm hoping it's Emily to make for the most competitive teams. My guess: Ruins II: Rookies vs. Vets.

Why waste a general balance of rookies and veterans for a challenge where such a balance is not important? It's not easy to cast people as it is, let alone apparently attempting to create a balance.
