Imo Kam and Cara both kinda missed the mark on who Cara shouldve gave her extra star to. This format has alot of moving parts and there needs to be alot of things in alignment to get another Cara vs Rachel type of mattchup, they lucky they got a heavy hitter mattchup so early. Imo the smartest thing to do wouldve been to give it to someone with less connections like Averey or Flora, with hopes that their star would get stolen before Cara's. Even tho Jasmine is harmless she seems to have friends this season, idk I could see certain people stealing Cara star before Jasmine.

Jasmine was already a bit of a target as arguably the weakest or second weakest woman there (idk Flora's capabilites) but Jasmine was always going to be looked at as an easy out if needed and giving her a star just puts more focus on that.
I absolutely agree giving the star to Avery, Flora, or even Tina would have worked as well for Cara, but Jasmine getting is good for her from both a strategy sense and she gets her revenge. She's always been more focused on the latter, often to her detriment, but idk about it this time.

Honestly if I was a star holder I would want the overall weakest players up there with me holding onto the stars - it's a game show for money, it would be for sure bet to win. Like it makes the final a little more boring to watch but as a player it makes the most sense.

With other seasons (like season 40 spoilers) there are always calls for competitors to throw the strong players into elimination to keep them from the final. Kam, Brandon, and Jasmine targeting Rachel and Cara here is an example. Let's see how it works out for them.

Cara has more experience in Pole Wrestle, she's done three and won two.
Strategy is more important than brute strength in that. I don't think she demolishes Rachel by any means but she has the edge.
