lol that was hilarious.  I don't know why but Wes's made me laugh the most with it only being two words.   All were spot on!

Might as well throw this here since the 36 discussion thread isn't being used anymore. Final IG follower changes from preseason to now

  • We will never get a cast like this again

Ugh. Back when the show was in a good place smh.

Even though I was excited for Darrell to come back, I was totally fine with Invasion just having the non-champs cast. Those 3 episodes with the non-champs was better than anything on Bloodlines and rivals 3.

Bloodlines and Rivals set the bar low.  The first 3 episodes were fine but the champs did add to things aside from Ashley and arguably John.

We will never get a cast like this again

The first season they started bringing random vets back - it was great from Invasion - Vendettas we got some great returns.  I mean love them or hate them did anyone ever think we would see people like Shane, Darrell, Veronica, Brad, etc come back?  Theresa was a great surprise this last season.  But I wish they would still reserve a spot or two for an og vet - most paid off in some way of another.

Also seeing Marie and LaToya together....we were robbed of them both together on screen during Invasion and Dirty 30 :(

Also still butthurt that Averey was dropped from this cast.

Any chance they bring back Champs vs Stars and use the All Stars cast?

What do you mean?  All Stars replacing Stars or replacing Champs?   Either way I highly doubt it

Shanley to replace Cara as the tattooed up hair dye chick pls. I'm ready for her debut. It's been a long time coming.

I do think that would be better. The Stars would have to be older though

Wasnt sure what thread to put this under, but why is it that Paramount+ doesnt have the episodes of CT going after Adam or Tonya slapping Veronica, but leaves in Brad getting his *** whooped by Darrell? The Brad thing was really bloody so I would have ***umed that would also be censored. But why edit out the violence in general? I really dont think its a family friendly show even excluding those scenes so I dont understand the purpose.

also Idk how the rights work, but is it not possible to edit out a scene instead of taking away the whole episode?

It wouldn't surprise me if they were trying to protect themselves from any backlash. Showing CT almost killing Adam would hurt his popularity with the casuals who haven't seen the older seasons. As with the Tonya vs Veronica situation, that fight would def lead to a discussion which would lead to people finding out about the Tonya lawsuit. I'm sure they don't want that resurfacing.

thats what I was thinking, but they should at least make it an "all or nothing" situation and take out all the violence. I think by excluding those episodes, it highlights what happened even more and makes fans wonder why those two particular scenes are being excluded.

Yeah even the YouTube challenge account posted episode 2 of the duel 2 and called it episode 1

They were on there not that long ago but maybe it was still All Access not Paramount then

Could be bull but I heard the issue was not the fight as it was recapped and shown in episode 2, but was because of the scenes of Isaac in blackface dressed up as Flava Flav in multiple scenes.  A poster on Reddit said they were connected to someone in production and confirmed this and said those scenes would need to be edited out but due to COVID and budgets issues they hadn't done it by the time they went to Paramount so the decision was made to just pull that episode.

Like I said I am not sure of its validity but it seems valid in light that the fight itself is shown in the next episode.

unpopular opinion but anyone else just liked Rivals 3 because of the aesthetics, I mean that soley the reason I like it because the house was amazing, graphics were unique, and jerseys were pleasing to me. idk I always cherish that first ep too cus of how they entered the house.

That makes sense. I always wonder why no one ever mentioned that regarding Isaac.

I did check yesterday morning and the first episode of The Duel 2 still plays for me on Paramount. I only watched the first 5 minutes so I don't know if anything was edited but it's not entirely removed.

I loved the jerseys, especially the fact the items they had to grab like skulls in one and tires in another mission matched the jeresy color. I also loved 2 of the missions, laps of judgment and up all night were iconic. The cast was so terrible tho that I'd probably never rewatch it.

mine doesnt on my phone, tablet, or through the app with my cable provider. How do you watch it?

The emily blackface episode is still included, so I dont think thats the reason. They also showed the tonya/veronica in a recap of last episode as well, I just think thats just lazy editing on their part.

its just odd. Whether its because blackface or violence, they seem to pick and choose instead of making it black and white.

You are the first person I have heard that the episode is available on Paramount.  It starts at episode 2 for me and everyone else as far as I know.  Weird.

The Emily blackface was addressed in the show as a very bad thing and was included to show Emily's ignorance, her being told of how offensive it was and I am sure MTV considers it a teachable moment.

The Isaac blackface was treated by everyone as not only nomal, but celebrated with many calling his the best costume and impression of the night.  It can almost be interpreted as endorsement of it by not only the cast but the network for airing it without any discussion of it being wrong or offensive.

They dont give a **** about the violence between 2 drunk men.

The app from the PS4 we use to watch Paramount Hulu and Netflux. That's really weird. I wonder if maybe we bought the season years ago so we still have it. I don't recall doing that but it's possible.

Ill check later to see if it says purchased or anything.  Really weird and doesn't make sense.

Convert it and give us a link. Lol just kidding but I'm OCD when it comes to these shows. I can't enjoy the Duel 2 and the Ruins knowing they left out an episode on both seasons.

i think they left out the CT fight because of the intensity and they left out the Tonya fight because of the back story to it. Either way its all weak performative BS considering they left in Darrell vs Brad. I think they view the other two situations as problematic and Darrell vs Brad as just drunk guys getting into it.
