I dont mind the mercenaries if they can get those rare people we really wanted for this. Im sure the casting pool opens for people they only need for 1-2 days we may get some nice surprises lol

I think the challenges from The Inferno 2-Duel era would be perfect for this because they seem doable for the OGs without completely alienating new viewers like the missions from the older Challenges.
The safest bets for MTV to use as mercenaries are the usual suspets that we all know who they are or some of these alternates and last minute cuts like Abram/Tina.
Top choices would obviously be Landon and Coral (if Coral is not available bring in Julie lol)
With all the new restrictions because of these new mutations and slow vaccining, maybe it is too much of a risk to fly in someone later in the game.
I expected this show was going to have more of a throwback vibe to it with a simpler format and less physically taxing missions. Having mercenaries would ruin that and seems really unnecessary.

Yep if they go with it, won't surprise me since mtv has never made smart decisions regarding the challenge.

Those 2 seasons are on Netflix and both the missions and elimination were really entertaining without being too complicated like recent seasons.
The way V1man was talking it seems like if there are mercenaries it'd just be two people from s37 but I could be interpreting it wrong.
That was my thought at one time but, have no current evidence to support it. Sometimes one hears things that lack any context, so the natural response is to weave the info into a familiar pattern that makes sense given what production has done previously. Sometimes that method is accurate in forecasting what is done and other times it can be what production should have done. At the end of the day, it's only a step above an educated guess...

I think that was the original idea, but like I said, since they are traveling and TJ is involved, I think it's going to be a little more intense than that. I said think Duel 1 type daily's.

this reminds me of that one video Cory had where he was at the MTV building and some social media department guy was asking him who pinkrose was and he Cory just straight up said "shoutout to Pinkrose" he didn't care and those employees were in there scrambling

Apparently they've hired some tech gurus for 37 to stop spoilers but little do they know that's what keep the show interesting for a lot of us.
Ready for this to start
Dup of dup

V1man is the greatest return from this season
why quarantine someone then fly them out then quarantine them again for a one time twist lmao
It fits with the nostalgic theme lol.
When Ayanna comes in as the mercenary wearing the same uniform from sexes 2

Ayanna is one of my favorites.

Sophia is one of my favorites.
Taste.

Exactly
The location looks beautiful, we should have some good missions. So excited for a warm location!

ha! I'd die lol
Yeah the warm location is going to be a great thing - the cold ones are okay once in awhile, but in general it looks more fun when they're warm lol
also what was updated on the spoiler page? Says 2 hours ago it was updated but I don't see any changes lol
