I know this is beating a dead horse but I just wanted to say that because seeing Leroy and Nia link up brought back old emotions. All of these white cast members do and say crazy things BUT of course they decide to make an example out of the black woman.

There’s something to be said about certain people (fans/commenters) you see devouring Leroy up and the language they use in comparison to his other equally annoying and tired clique.
I can see it but he doesn’t and really walked face first into a role that these white folks feel SUPER comfortable using coded language towards him.
Even in the new challenge commercials I noticed were they were naming big names who’ll be on the season and they even included Nany who started out after him. (probably could be any reason) but I feel like for a dude that’s been on ten plus seasons and is a regular, kind of a casual fave due to who he associate with should’ve be named out in the promos like his friends. Goes to show the network doesn’t care for him like he may think, kind of feel bad for him.

True, people get really comfortable with coming for him because they know he’ll come back to them and be over it. He could be like that from his upbringing and not having that much of a support system at home that he’s valuing relationships with these superficial tv people that don’t care that much about him.
I feel like posting a lot today, so first i wanna say thanks to wittywrath and to anyone else who had a hand in making this thread, i don’t weigh in a lot but i love reading it. it’s nice to get input from other black people
About leroy: i agree, it’s frustrating to see him both behave and be edited this way. what bothers me the most is that he never tries to win, but now i wonder if it’s because he doesn’t believe he can, he’s never been told he can, and he never had big aspirations for his life. we all know his background, and i think it’s one of the reasons why he’s nonchalant about everything. but he’s starting a career now and he wants to settle down (tony said ct, leroy and him each wanted to propose to their girlfriends a couple seasons ago), which makes me think he wants better for himself and he might try harder on the challenge, to have money to invest and to actually build a life for himself, we’ll see though

A fan asked Leroy who was his favorite partner out of everyone he's been paired with & his answer was Nia. I still think she was his best partner to date (for a FEW reasons).
He knows what he had with The Queen as an ally & probably regrets not stopping her from going into the living room that night. Oh well, Queen won regardless.
