I was kinda disappointed with the episode tbh, but I think it's more so that my expectations were too **** high. Like why would Shelby/Matt/Lee willingly go back to the house where they almost got slaughtered? Idk, it felt kinda forced but it was not bad though, I was just expecting different
Except for this I loved it.I appreciate how the real ghosts looked so much scarier and grittier than the documentary ones (pilgram and the nurses)
They explained two of thrm. Shelby went back as a way to talk to Matt and Lee went back for the money. No idea why Matt would go back but probably money just like the actors

No amount of money will get me to return to the place where I almost got killed.

Many/most would agree. Some would want to face their fears. No right or wrong
I love that Sarah has a British accent and she and Evan are married. I could totally seeing one of the surviving.
I don't think they executed the twist perfectly but I like it a lot. Like Nevid said, all these people just willingly agreeded to come back to this haunted place for money? I doubt that. They could have had better reasoning with why everyone would come back.

A popular theory on reddit seems to be that Matt will be the survivor and went back to sacrifice everyone else or do some form of favor for the witch. I agree with this because as you said he's the only one between him/Lee/Shelby without clear motivation to go back. People also said that in interviews about the witch he sounds very understanding/almost in love with her (or at least not outraged that he was basically posessed and raped). He was distant with Shelby before she cheated on him == in love with witch imo. Also, he volunteered to sleep in the attic and showed very little reaction to Rory's death.
In an interview Ryan Murphy said something along the lines of you can't trust everything that was described in My Roanoke Nightmare which basically means the cast was lying about some things that happened. I'm hoping that they made a lot of these attacks up for whatever reason and are not just complete morons (which returning to this house would make them if their stories were true), that would redeem the season in my eyes
that was the most bat shit crazy episode i have ever seen from AHS... never thought i'd say this, but the show actually redeemed itself with this season
Ryan Murphy said there is going to be a Murder House/Coven crossover. Ryan Murphy clarified by saying actors from both installments will be in it. I'm really enjoying Roanoke.
Also, there will be a person from Asylum in the upcoming episodes. I don't know if it's a spoiler or not, so I won't reveal who. Last time that happened was in Freakshow, with Mary Eunice and Pepper.

not true, last season has both Billie Dean Howard from Murder House and Queenie from Coven

You're right. I didn't clarify correctly, I was talking about characters only from Asylum.
Did Lee really kill her husband, or just said it so her daughter won't be left wondering? Like she said to the cops, how could she pick up a large man and put him on a tree. I thought the Butcher or the Polks killed him. Maybe Lee started to grow on me and I don't want her to be the killer?
They never said this season would be about politics. They said it would start on election night. Y'all pick way too much stuff to be mad about.
Let me play a little devils advocate. Just because it starts on election night and follows what happens afterwards doesnt mean politcal bias from the actors, creators, and writers wont come out. Also considering they've got SJW Lena Dunham on who was anti-trump everything kinda makes me think it'll be all about the horrors of a Trump presidency. We dont need an AHS election show, look outside and you'll see the horrors *****.

This is the first season since Coven where I'm on the edge of my seat.. though it took a while

I love the hidden camera and holding phone style of filming it makes things more scary
Lee to be the sole survivor
>>>>
I want shelby to be the sole survivor lol I feel like storyline wise it'd make sense for her the most with Matt saving her so she can live
matt saving her? she killed his *** lol... dominic saved her
I guess I wouldn't mind Shelby, only because I love Lily Rabe. Her killing Matt was so "lol wut", not in a good way either.
Lee got the Hidden Immunity Idol for next episode though.
pause I meant Dominic lol I'm so used to their names

After last nights episode I think Lee will be the one to survive. I thought it was gonna be Shelby but now that she's gone it's obvious.
Lee >>>>>
I told yall to get on the winning team. She had that hidden immunity idol.
Watch her die next now. Lol

All I know is Queen Angela Bassett isn't on this season apparently so it's already a flop ✌️
Lol
WAIT. Fr? Nvm. cancelled.
Thats what I read. I was appalled. They forgot her AND KATHY BATES!!! Like they done lost it!

You seen this cast list because it's all get out TRAGIC. Emma Roberts, Lily Rabe, and Frances Conroy all supporting cast or guest spots.
you'd think after seeing Lily Rabe slay Asylum, Coven, and Roanoke we would know to keep her as a main cast member and not this guest shit.
And ***** Emma Roberts is only for one episode ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️
Hit me up when icon Jessica Lange returns. She was the only good thing about Freak Show and Hotel was #DUST.
