HOLY ******* SHIT THIS THEORY!!! THIS HAS TO BE RIGHT!!!! OMGGGGG if it is my mind will officially be BLOWN. This is a crazy twist and it makes so much sense!!!! RM revealed that a big twist is coming in Episode 6, and so far with each episode there seems to have been parrells to each season of the show (chapter 1/murder house - couple move into haunted house... chapter 2/asylum - house used to be a medical facility where patients were tortured and killed.... chapter 3/coven - a medium talks with the dead as well as a witch (lady gaga) being revealed to live in the woods... chapter 4/freakshow - RM revealed a connection to the Mott family history sometime this season and Evan Peters is rumored to play Dandy's grandfather, so if the Mott family is in the next episode this theory is all but confirmed). And since the whole season and promos have had this thing about the number 6, of course chapter 6 is where the season will differentiate and become its own horror story!!! And since we know the documentary can break the fourth wall as evidenced tonight when IRL Lee stopped production on her interviews for a moment, this has to be what will happen when "My Roanoke Nightmare" approaches its finale. Some shit is about to GO DOWN in the REAL WORLD!!!! (and also to back that up, it was leaked that Lily Rabe has a stunt double for episode 8 - why would she need a stunt double if shes just doing the interview portion?? BECAUSE ************* AHS IS ABOUT TO ****** ALL OUR WEAVES!!)
Omg im in love with this season!!! Even if it turns out not to be true (which at this point i highly doubt that its not), I still think its the creepiest the show has been since Asylum. And that little Roanoke history part was the highlight of Ep 3... fantastic!!!

I love this idea & hope this is true. This is the best season in a long time & has me very excited for what is yet to come over the rest of the season.

You're way too excited lol. I did hear that theory though and it makes sense.
This last episode was boring to me though. And I'm starting to grow tired of the constant stupidity. It's really taking me out of the element.
I will say though that I love the premise of this season. But that can only work for so long. This isn't a 2 hour movie where within the first hour the family finally gets it. It's been 3 episodes and with all the crazy shit happening they are still doing stupid shit. It just takes me out of it.
They're like the accusations in the video seem so crazy! Like you literally saw the same shit happen??? It's hard to feel sorry for such aggressively dumb characters but you can't make demonic horror without them I guess.
and My Roanoke Nightmare is officially done... make way for AHS: Roanoke... THAT'S A WRAP PEOPLE!!!!
edit: tbh i'm loving this season.. so many people are hating on it, but I still think it's the best it has been since Asylum. Every episode has had some seriously creepy moments and the death toll this season is insane lol I hope with the BTS AHS we will get tons of more scares outside the studio lot
If the episode/season 1-5 reference theory is real then the correlations to season 4/5 were really weak in the past two episodes. The Mott name was briefly mentioned in four (ep five contained way more) and I guess the bed attack scene from yesterday was reminiscent of hotel? I'm amped for next week, regardless.
There's also the theory that each episode references specifically the sixth episode of it's respective season, can anyone who made it through Hotel comment on this?
My theory is they're going to get haunted in real life. Sarah Paulson, Cuba, Kathy bates, and Lady Gaga are all just actors for this documentary show but they're real people. I feel like they're going to show them in real life getting ****** up.
Also read an interesting theory that Evan peters is the man playing the pig man in the documentary.
i am praying they have an opening credits in the next episode... something tells me there will be one. especially with them finally acknowledging the title of "American Horror Story: Roanoke" instead of "My Roanoke Nightmare, a true American Horror Story"

I think they will do that. In the theory video I watched she said "there aren't opening credits yet because the seasons hasn't even started yet" and I totally get it and thinks that's why nothing has been shown.

This is what I thought but idk which actors they would use to play the real versions of all of those characters from the documentary. Almost all of the main AHS actors have been introduced already.

They would play themselves as real people. Each of them is reinacting a person in the documentary but outside of the acting for the Roanke Nightmare show they're real people so they'd play themselves not another actor be them

Let me rephrase: Evan Peters's, Kathy Bates's, and Lady Gaga's characters are now going to play themselves which means there will need to be new people to play the role of the real witch, real butcher, and real Edward Philippe Mott (outside of the documentary), as well as all of the other documentary characters who were not doing interviews. I'm saying that these are big parts for FX to give to rando new actors

Correct me if I'm wrong but what you're saying is that you think they're gonna incorporate those characters into the new story? I'm not sure if that'll be the case, I feel like this is gonna be like a complete new story but who knows.

That's right, I havent even considered that they might change the story entirely. We'll see Wednesday ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I was kinda disappointed with the episode tbh, but I think it's more so that my expectations were too **** high.
Like why would Shelby/Matt/Lee willingly go back to the house where they almost got slaughtered? Idk, it felt kinda forced but it was not bad though, I was just expecting different
Love the twist and the suspense of "everyone died except one" now we have to guess who died and who is the sole survivor.Pause. Where is Gaga and Taissa(Ryan Murphy confirmed her)
i think taissa will show up in the finale... the finale is supposed to be its own thing. i wonder what they will do with it and if it will take place after Return to Roanoke. My guess is it will follow a group of teens (including taissa) filming their own documentary (ala Blair Witch) about the mysterious Roanoke Mansion a few years after the events of these two shows we are currently watching. They travel through the forest and discover the ruins and as they are exploring it, they are visited/killed by all the ghosts of the victims from My Roanoke Nightmare.
A perfect ending would be: As the 10th episode ends, the credits roll and it pans back to a theatre or someone sitting at home... they turn to the camera, revealed as the surviving victim from RTR, and says something like "kids never learn... don't **** with the original" (and then clicks the remote as the screen goes to black haha) (total nod to Scream 4 lol)

Except for this I loved it.
I appreciate how the real ghosts looked so much scarier and grittier than the documentary ones (pilgram and the nurses)
Asylum.
Best moment by far and most intense scene.
That was so legendary. How did Zachary quinton and Sarah Paulson not win an Emmy or golden globe for their roles? It's a crime

I'm watching the season but I still haven't fell in love with it. Nothing too interesting has happened
also they finally gave Evan Peters a gay character to play.. my life is complete

@honesttea - no need to apologize
omg can't believe i missed this episode! watching now and already its so cool hahaha
didnt watch it yet eek I'll watch it tomorrow
the twist is definitely unexpected and it brings together everyone really creatively

I wonder who is getting evicted next.
