Xtreme can go either way for me.  San Diego/Philly/Xtreme are tough to place.  You also pretty much wat an even number in each era.  Jillian & Ibis are more JEK era in my mind even though they debuted prior to FM.  Jodi & Kina are more difficult for me to place

Ughhhhhh why did Queen Brittini not wanna come back after Duel 2? The era she came in was absolute garbage though, maybe Fresh Meat 2/Cutthroat would've been good fits for her.

Jodi & Kina's Last Challenge was Bananas' first. Def Golden Era to me. Not even a question.

Ibis- did 2 challenges before any of JEK even debuted, and then was basically non-existent on the one she did after. Def Golden Era.

Jillian- valid argument for her to be JEK era. Only did 1 challenge prior to JEK, and 2 after where she did well.

On a different note, funny how the X-treme girls all did 3 challenges minus Angela.

Yeah. I'd put all the Xtreme girls in the golden era because that's when the all debuted.

Why did you guys wait until polls closed to say something? lol We could have had a discussion about this.I was looking past who debuted when and where for some and thought about impact, allies and rivalires that even crossed eras. Besides Robin who I still lump in JEK bc that's where alliagence was, the x-treme girls + Susie and Cara's debuts were overshadowed by other rookies/regulars/vets of the Golden era and they made a bigger name for themselves during G2 and on.

The period I'm trying to highlight conists of:- The non-Mean Girl cliques: X-treme, Austin-VR, Drama Mafia alliances (Robin, Jodi, Ibis, Kina, Diem, Tori, Johanna, Melinda, Rachel M.)- The rookie girls that rivaled those cliques (Jillian, Svetlana, Cara and Susie)- The girls that aligned with JEK as a group, duo or idv. (Kina, Jodi, Robin, Diem, Paula, Casey, Jenn, Janelle, Evelyn (The Island))- The girls that rivaled JEK as a group, duo or idv. (Evelyn, Susie, Cara, KellyAnne)

- Fresh Meat + JEK Dynasty (Diem, Paula, Jenn, Casey, Robin)- The RW/RR debuters between FM and FM2 (Austin, Key West, Denver, Viewers' Revenge,  Hollywood, Sydney, Brooklyn (Sarah))

What do we call that period of the Challenge?

I think your split was fine...people will always complain

16. Ayanna

AVG: 6.07She may not have been a main girl, which is crazy because she was a complex character, but any Challenge Ayanna was on you can expect her to have genuine storylines and memorable moments because this spiritual butterfly had such a short fuse.On her RR season Ayanna had serious beef with two of her female cast members Veronica and Pua. We all remember the tension between Veronica and Ayanna, especially the incident where Ayanna accused Veronica of plagiarizing her paper. How about when Ayanna got into a screaming match with Pua who accused Ayanna of performing voodoo rituals on Pua and Veronica. Ayanna was CRAY... but it was hella entertaining when she had blow-outs. Once she got on The Challenge it was expected to have a Crazy memorable Ayanna moment every season.Fighting words: On Extreme Challenge Ayanna did a Challenge first... she became the first to get disqualified for physically attacking cast member Christian who allegedly used the N-word. None of it was captured on camera, which was the annoying part, but it was certainly one of the moments where The Challenge got "real." The cast was in disbelief of the entire situation, Christian was apologetic, and Ayanna refused to take responsibility for her part even during the reunion.Come on be my baby tonight: On her second challenge Ayanna toned down during the first half. We got to see a softer side, and like Coral  there's something about the Sexes season that made top personalities in the house so mushy. Ayanna had a showmance with David B. the former egomaniac. It was so sweet and genuine but it fizzled out as David was voted out of the game early and Ayanna later went back to her old ways.Ticking timebomb: Ayanna was no slouch competitor but she was such a difficult person to work with as seen on Sexes 1 & 2. Leading up to her boots Ayanna would try to take leadership to turn things around on her failing teams but she was bad at communication, passive aggressive and didn't make the best decisions for the girls. Ayanna often felt like she was scapegoated. You kind of felt bad for her. But who can forget one of the best elimination send offs in reality tv: "I slept in my uniform last night because I wanted to win today!" Ayanna was a ticking time bomb! I don't think any female this era was as passionate about The Challenge as her.

16. Johanna

AVG: 5.97Because Johanna was a weaker competitor and not as dramatic as her peers she's almost easy to overlook. Johanna actually played a strategic game, she was the original "polidicker" that was responsible for a series of events on some of the JEK era Challenges.Leader of the Austin alliance: On Johanna's first challenge was stressful for her;  she fought with her boyfriend Wes and was a casualty of the Austin massacre on Fresh Meat. On her second challenge she came back knowing that since Austin had numbers on Gauntlet 3 it was time to pull some strings. She basically ran the Rookies team. Danny from the Veteran team even came at Johanna because he thought she wasn't doing enough to save Melinda. Jillian being  sacrificed the whole way through meant Johanna saw no eliminations, made it to the final with most of her alliance intact and won on her second try (by default).Queen of the Islands: I don't think we'll ever see a girl on The Challenge as self-aware as Johanna was on The Island. She knew she was securing a spot by hooking up with top-dog Kenny. Derrick K. and Robin were the most turned off by Johanna's entitlement but she let them know that she was using the Vjay to get ahead in the game. Johanna understood her place unlike girls like other girls.Birth of Rivals: We all remember the scene of her and Kenny going at it on the beach - yeah, that started a lot of trouble for later seasons. She was basically the basis of the whole Wes & Kenny rivalry who would go on to being one of the most epic rivalries of the next 2-3 Challenges. During her fourth appearance JEK couldn't secure Johanna's spot for too long, Susie and Johanna were the remaining two girls and it was time for her to finally prove herself, and she ovbiously got eliminated. She felt the consequences of hooking up with Kenny by having to deal with a love rectangle involing a bitter Wes all season. Wes turned to some sneaky measures by attempting to throw missions but never before has a player threatened to sell the house of a former "fiancée." Now that was gangsta!

#20. Aviv #19. Shavoun#18. Ibis#17. Brittini#16. Johanna16. Jemmye
AVG: 6.05New Orleans season had a two challenge gap and three RW season gap before any of their cast members were represented on a Challenge. Thanks to Battle of the Seasons (2012) aka the "Rookie Revolution" it launched a lot of newbies Challenge careers, Jemmye being one of them. Jemnye's contribution to the show is being the shit stirrer in the Challenge house and having a hot mess of a relationship with her just as equally trouble making ex-boyfriend.Knight and Jemmye: Part of Jemmye's Challenge storyline involved Knight; the two had a bad break up since their season. Jemmye revealed that Knight cheated on her and it was hard for her to forgive him. Knight showed remorse for his actions in jokingly Knight manner and pleaded to win her back during their time on Seasons. After losing Preston and Mckenzie, Knight and Jemmye survived a few rounds before it was their time to go. Rivals 2 would be Jemmye's next Challenge but they could never be on a season together without arguing at least once. Like when Knight gets jealous of Leroy and Jemmye's fling and grabs a bottle of Ketchup, smears some on her back and Jemmye flips her shit because...that's her phobia - bizarre. But he knew how to push her buttons.Team Subtitles: New Orleans wasn't the most athletic team so their only hope was that since they sucked so badly, the other teams would keep them as a layup. This ticked off a crazy Camila who was apart of Team Fresh Meat, the only full vet team targeted early in the game. On a bus night home from the club, Camila decides to call out Knight and Jemmye for his antics and their gameplay. Jemmye is ready to fight, and the two gals got into a screaming, air-clawing, liquor-fueled match where every other word is bleeped out. The birth of team subtitles."Hey Boo!": On Rivals 2,  Jemmye came back guns blazing and ready to play dirty and stir shit amongst the girls side to deflect any target on her and Camila's backs. We all remember the antics Jemmye pulled this season. It was Jemmye that started the Trishelle and Aneesa fight that season by spilling to Aneesa that Trishelle was talking shit. But we tend to forget her other snakey moments too. Like when Diem made up a rap where she calls Nany a **** and Jemmye runs to Nany and snitches on Diem causing a Nany to confront her. Jemmye came for Diem a lot that season actually, calling her fake and a liar. Fake you say? How about when Jem trash talked Cara with her partner Cooke and the moment she shows up she was acting friendly. Team subtitles managed to work together enough to make the final. They won one mission and eliminated Jasmine and Theresa and only came in last place one time as well. Placing third was enough for you to think Jemmye was a great competitor, right? Wrong. Free Agents is the least we saw Jemmye, she flipped a kill card and faced Latoya in an intense battle where she was defeated by the rookie. With Jemmye and Knight being one of the fan favorite couples of modern RW it was only right they were brought back for Exes 2. However, with teams being as stacked and them being the hot messes they were it was expected of them to be out quick. No redemption for them either as Knight hurts his shoulder meaning Knight & Jemmye wouldn't be able to compete. Then the unfortunate happened that would cause Jemmye to take a break from the show, Knight sadly passed away. While the two clearly had ups and downs there was always an underlying love in their relationship. Jemmye was pained by his death and took a few seasons off, but now she's back.

No. That's just Nostalgia.

Ok bye I was not complaining, merely discussing. Funny how the same that complained about people complaining then complain when the list doesn't meet their requirements.

15. Belou

AVG: 6.13Almost every Challenge house has that one Belou. Those episodes devoted to people that go insane the first night, and in later seasons tend to walk, get kicked or voted off early. Well, Belou is the pioneer for first episode blow-outs! While she didn't get kicked off or walked she certainly was a hot topic and did one of the most controversial things in Challenge history. Belou was judged for bringing her infant child along to live in The Challenge house on Battle of the Seasons and her fellow RRers questioned her parenting skills. This would NEVER-EVER happen on a Challenge today but those were the days!Belou was one of a kind in the RR franchise. She's from the Netherlands and can barely speak English so everything she said was naturally funny and she was crazy; on her season she threatened to stab Antoine, and he proceeded to try to throw her into a canal. Belous and her supportive partner Chris felt like having a baby taught Belou responsibility, which is what she needed most. Belou didn't bring the baby all by herself, she had a nanny, but of course no one really thinks it's responsible for a mother to bring their baby to a resort around 30 of the craziest people on TV. Belou was in for some criticism. Belounatic: What sparked Belou's first blow-out was actually production and their demand for the cast to go somewhere for dinner. Belou starts freaking out because her baby w***leeping and not even dressed. After calming her down, the next day it's mission time. Although RR as a whole destroyed RW, Chris and Belou performed in the bottom half of their team, and Belou blamed her partner. Back at the villa Belou packs her things because she believes that she is leaving. Belou would have been an obvious first boot because she's such a loose cannon but she's saved by Emily B. who swayed the Inner Circle to get rid of her rival Veronica, which of course caused controversy because Veronica and Yes were the top 5 best team. Because of RR's dirty game, a Hurricane and the shows editing we were able to see Belou for at least 5 episodes. Which means we got the Belou and Hollywick drama!Hollywick - The two*******: The people that were the most critical by far were the house's married couple Holly and Chadwick who thought they ran the game. Belou immediately butted heads with them after they talked shit about her allegedly leaving her child near the gl*** window while a category 4 Hurricane was coming. Holly had no problem voicing her disapproval of the way Belou was  raising her child. Belou goes off on a hilarious rant and yells: "I hope you never get a child, yo, I hope that for your ***!"/ "You *****! You *****! That's why you married each other, you two*******" and continues yelling from the other room while Holly hides behind Chadwick and lets him fight her battles. With the divide and drama in the RR team/villa, Belou also decides to move out and move into the RW house. Turned out Hollywick were more of a cancer to the team than Belou. Not only were they a couple split on two different pairs, they were apart of an alliance determined to get rid of strong pairs from their team, and they beefed with master manipulator Emily. When Chadwick and Piggy finished outside the Inner Circle the team called out Hollywick's hypocrisy of wanting to change the original team protocol, and now alliance protocol by wanting to vote off weaker team now that Chadwick was bumped out. This came back to bite Chadwick and Holly in the ***, and Emily was able to convince the squad to vote Chadwick and Piggy off. Belou was able to get support by her team and also the last laugh before her time was up as well.Without a doubt Belou was one unique character that brought out-of-control screaming and fighting moments.

15. Tori

AVG: 6.06Tori was asouthern belle, a fresh face from the very last RR season and a favorite to make a Challenge appearance. That all changed once she stepped foot on The Challenge. Tori went from inexperienced rookie being pissy about a power couple to becoming one-half of a power couple in the future. She's ******* going in!: On the Rookies team Johanna controlled deliberations but Tori was the pitbull of their alliance. Tori had strong dislike for the team she was on, particularly against Frank and Jillian and had no issue making Frank and Jillian's stay miserable or potentially losing their teams best girl if it meant that her friends were safe. There was no peace on the Rookies team, Frank hated this girl and often had shit fits while Tori would scream at the top of lungs to make sure that her friends got their way.Power Couple: Once Tori and Brad's relationship grew stronger on Gauntlet 3 Tori's gameplay on future Challenges would propell even more. The two became the closest resemblance to the likes of Holly and Chadwick or Emily and James of the JEK era. I mean who else did? Certainly not Danny and Melinda. Behind Brad, Tori was relatively safe and if there was any name dropping of her or Brad she would take it personal and freakout. Tori made it very stressful for Brad on The Duel 2. The girls managed to get rid of her before the final on Duel 2 but that ignited her to be even more of a cutthroat ***** on Cutthroat.Queen of Cutthroat: Tori controlled yet another team. Under her command rookie teammates Brandon and Camila were voted into the Gulag every time. After victory of her own in a Heavy Hitter's elimination Tori even had the team sacrifice her ally Paula to ensure her a spot in the final with her husband. The two road off into the sunset and Tori become another 2-time champ in the females side.Because of the way the couple played the game, some fans had hoped to never see Tori and Brad again. Which sucks because many longed for Brad to finally win a Challenge but Tori might have "cramped his style." Tori may have been entitled, bratty, and self-righteous but she got what she wanted like a boss. The ultimate goal is to win no matter which way you get it done.

15. LaToya

AVG: 6.29With no athletic background no one expected LaToya to have the greatest chances to win, especially not on 3 individual Challenges. Since she missed out on Seasons (2012), Toya became one of those anticipated rookies that made a big impression on Free Agents before getting eliminated. But before her time was up she had a few moment to talk about. Stairmaster: Toya left a bad impression during the very first mission. She struggled during stage 1 and become exhausted and hits her head on a door thanks to Swift jumping over her. As a result, Toya collapsed and w***ent to the hospital for dyhydration. This made her an easy target to vote into the first elimination which she did not take lightly. Toya pulled off an impressive showing against Jemmye proving that she had a lot heart and fight. Mind you, it was a big deal because Jemmye was a vet and percieved to be a decent competitor to some players at the time. LoToyalty: What was also great about Latoya's first showing was that she was able to show that she can politic in the game by persuading vets on a winning team to select Nia into elimination over her for a second time. Hoping that she proved herself to the rest of the players already, Toya found herself voted into the elimination yet again. LaToya was upset that people she was the closesr to in the game went back on their word to keep her, but she was most notably mad at Jordan. After their screaming match, LaToya tells his Alpha female girlfriend Laurel to keep control of her boyfriend. Letoya was admirable because she stood her ground against vets, not many rookies on their first Challenge are vocal about oposing Challenge tradition. Stairs - 2, Toya - 0: She was one half of a RW dynamic duo that viewers loved! It was only a matter of time she appeared on a Challenge where we finally got to see her play with her bestie. Too bad neither of them performed any good on Invasion for us to get much moments of the two together. At least Toya racked up a good Exes 3 partner after that hot and heavy beach make out session with Nelson. Toya failed to surive the Sheltor and was eliminated on Invasion before The Champs arrived.Latoya's funny, outspoken, and spunky. She has all that personality and fire in the world but serves as an exmaple that if you actually train for these things you could stick around for more than four episodes The Challenge. OR maybe luck just isn't on her side?

14. Ellen

AVG: 6.26I doubt many casuals know this One Hit Wonder Queen but luckily hardcore fans came through with this one. Aside from hooking up Ellen Cho nailed all the pivotal elements that make up a  Challenge star, but she never returned. Ellen's first and only appearance was Battle of the Sexes and she played a big part of its success. She will be remembered for being a good competitor that's overly emotional, enthusiastic and hysterical about everything. However, these are things that rubbed some of the players the wrong way. Mob Mentality: I mean Ellen starts off her first challenge by befriending Julie, who Melissa rallied her whole team against, and this could have potentially put an early target on her back as well. But Ellen didn't give a damn, she had no problem telling Melissa or anyone else off about their mental games on others. This would be a recurring thing from Ellen throughout the season ***he would bicker with her teammates about their decisions or mob mentality. Ellen griped about the lack of team unity; she wanted the strongest girls up front, those who think for themselves and didn't feed into negativity. This was ironic because she was also involved in some of the shadiest moves in Challenge history and was easily manipulated by Emily to screw team protocol and vote off girls like Rachel and Veronica who were far from their team's weakest links. And then she would have meltdowns wondering why her and Ruthie took the most of the heat for their involvement in the inner-circle decisions. Kick-*** competitor but politics weren't her strongest point, but she was great TV.Ellen vs. Puck: Another big part of the seasons storyline was Puck's campaign of emotional terror against Ellen. It all started with the Wedding fiasco where Ellen had a distaste for Puck and thought the wedding was all for show. Most people thought Puck was an *** or a jerk but Ellen had no problem telling it to his face. The rival got to the point where Puck allegedly told her he was gonna kick her *** and Ellen wanting the women to boycott the wedding. The feud lasted through most of Puck's stay. Ellen would sob so much that the cast often thought she would go on these emotional pleas for attention and point out that Ellen provokes just as much as Puck. Beat that Rivals 3 cast! this is what you call a cl***ic/true male-female rivalry!Despite not ever appearing on another challenge again Ellen left either a mark in Challenge history. She was pure entertainment every time she got screentime.

14. Kina

AVG: 6.31Kina Dean, a sweet rookie that turned into a huge *****. You almost have to respect the level of p***ion she was bringing back then. I remember the Kina that was so sweet on her RR season to the point where she even risked herself going home over Ibis who blew it in missions. She was a rookie in the golden era and took her early boot on Battle of the Sexes 2 pretty well as a casualty of being a rookie... Or did she? Maybe she went home and vowed to never be a good guy on this show again.Power Trip: Still a rookie, The Gauntlet 2 was when Kina's Challenge career really kicked off - right at the end of old school and beginning of JEK's Challenge careers. Given that Kina was a team captain this season she naturally had the spotlight. Being a team captain on Gauntlet 2 meant that she would be up on the chopping block on female Gauntlet days, and that pressure took a toll on her. Part of Kina was actually commendable; she would admire her competition, she was mentored by veteran captain Ruthie and went as hard for her team during daily missions. However, Kina might have taken the responsibility of being a team captain a little TOO serious. The other part of Kina was a raging ***** towards female teammates outside of her alliance, boyfriend Randy and male friends.Kina vs. Cara: The epic rivalry of Cara and Kina was born towards the end of the season where Susie and Cara were accused of having an alliance with the male Veterans, and that set Kina off. Kina convinced the team to deny any opportunity of Cara and Susie contributing to the team during dailies and got her team to grill Susie and Cara to tears. Kina had it out for Cara the most, thinking she was the bad seed and let Susie off the hook. So Kina selects Cara into the Gauntlet with her and destroyed her. You've got to admit that any time Kina was sent into a Gauntlet she was scrappy and fired up, which is what we love to see. When Kina had another opportunity to finish the duo off, she shockingly selected Jillian to go in, blindsiding her team but further securing her alliance of Original X-treme girls in the final. It was a dirty move that rubbed people the wrong way but hey, Kina called all the shots that season.Kina gets humbled: After a Challenge break Kina came back on The Duel, which would be her last, and she was even *****ier and entitled more than ever. Kina always rolled with a gang, and this time she aligned with the players that would soon become the future/top guys of The Challenge as well as the Beth-proclaimed Drama Mafia (Kina, Jodi, Robin, Diem and co.) who ostracized the other girls in the house (Paula, Svetlana, Aneesa, Beth). The Drama Mafia was eventually taken them down one by one except Jodi of course. Just when Kina thought she was sitting pretty, rookie Svetlana called her out and the two faced off in a battle of "Push Me." Svetlana with the upset dragged the dog shit out of the overly confident Kina. Instead of taking her L and go out with some dignity Kina made one of the most dramatic scenes in elimination history by pretending to be injured and being so hysterical about it. It's a must watch.

14. Marie

AVG: 6.46

Okay, let's just pretend that Season XXX is Marie Roda's second challenge -- no, let's be real, fans of the show genuinely like Marie but she definitely suffered from a Sophomore slump for someone that was in such high demand for a return. Stand Your Ground: Marie on Battle of the Seasons (2012) was so loud and abrasive as hell... but she was for a good reason, Marie took no shit from the players that were running the game. Too bad it was from guys like Frank, Zach and Knight and not guys like Bananas. Marie was the head ***** of her team of misfits St. Thomas. St. Thomas were the rookiest of rookies just based on being the more recent season and weren't apart of the big alliances. Yet it was Marie's social game that secured her team a few weeks of safety before it was their time to finally see an elimination. Once Trey and Laura were eliminated Marie and Robb managed to stick around longer than expected, she even notably pulled weight for the pair during an underwater mission.Plantgate: Most of all Marie left her mark the night of the huge house fight of the season (and maybe even of all New Age seasons). Marie saw two men teaming up on her friend Nany, so naturally she jumped into the fight to come to Nany's rescue. That also meant Robb had to come in to make sure Marie doesn't go off the hinges and get them kicked off. Robb can thank Marie for giving him another invite back onto the challenge by the way. The night snowballed into Derek pushing Robb, then Marie pushing Derek down with Sam positioned  behind him, falling into a plant. Marie didn't finish it there, she then verbally attacks Sam for no reason.  Since that night we saw how many ***** Marie gives and how crazy she can get. After a hiatus Marie arrived on Invasion of the Champions with her bestie Latoya, both highly anticipated, but not in the best of shape. Marie found herself screwed in the first mission and  eliminated after the first round against a new school rookie. We never got to see that aggressive, loudmouth ****** we were so desperately asking to return to the show. But there's always a chance on Season 30...hopefully she doesn't let us down.
