So a free for all, with the twist of Champions coming after a couple of eliminations?
The specifics aren't 100% known.
Interesting. A tad unfair if so, but still cool to have new faces shine for a bit.
It was 2 eliminations. The odds of a champ, these champs, going home that early is slim to none. Now people that want to see Darrell and Shane will get to know these newbies before the champs come in and get a ton of air time. It works perfectly
Just 2 eliminations? that's not bad then. Shame bruno left before Ashley K came in. Could've been a love square MTV might've wanted to Exploit with Jenna and Zach also being on.
That's too little time honestly. Who's to say people aren't just gonna wait for the champs to show up?

Like the audience wait till the champs show up to watch the show? I mean, that's a non factor, because they're willing to wait for the Champions to come in to begin to watch, what's not to say they'll wait till episode 5 to begin watching if champions came in after then?

Well yeah..That's my point. People are not going to care about the newbies/Challenges(save for a couple of them). and they won't bother to get to know them if they know the champions are just going to come in 2 episodes later. I mean yeah..they might be willing to wait but what's really the point in that?

Shane is there from the start. That gets old school fans. Marie/Jenna/Cory getbrecent fans. You can't drag it out. 2 episodes are plenty. Might be 3
I can see the casuals tuning in for the first few episodes due to Marie, Tony, Cory, Jenna, Ashley M being there. Plus we have the debut of Sylvia, Bruno, and Kailah.

Jenna/Cory I see but i'm willing to bet hardly anyone remembers Marie and while Shane can get some old-school fans back it won't be alot. People rarley talk about him when it comes to the old-schoolers.

Do people even Like Tony? I feel like alot of people dislike him. Not sure about Ashley M and as I said i doubt people remember Marie.
Having an old schooler and introducing newbies before having champs come in won't get this show back to the ratings it once was or could potentiall be. Yeah we'll see a little boost when the champs come in but I'm not expecting 1million views from these BMP shows ever again.

Well, I mean, an episode on both Bloodlines and Rivals 3 reached over **** and was close to one million. With CT returning, I could see an episode reaching 1 million this season.

MTV ratings have gone down even more since bloodlines and even rivals 3 lol
Some of their shows are not even getting 100k views

rivals 3 was very bad. Lol @ Chey and Devin getting come back and then get lucky every time. Nany and Wes should had that spot. The final would've been more better if it was bananas/Sarah vs Jenna/Vince vs Nany/Wes without that twist in final also
Teen mom girls have millions of followers on twitter/IG way more than any challenger that have been on this shows or real world/ayto. That show now days is hardly putting a million, which is their highest rated show that doubles and even 4 times more any of the other shows they have had on the past 6 months.
To think that The Challenge on the current MTV standing is getting even near that its crazy and delusional regardlesa of who they cast. This season is going to have the same ratings as the last 2 premieres, which in the 600k range or lower than that with or without the champs. MTV is not going to get their crap together in 2 months lol

Based on ratings it did pretty well for MTV standards. It did over average in the demographic MTV cares about.

Which is why I think bringing in the champs 2 episodes in is pointless.
i hope there's an actual twist and the champions didn't just come in for some shock factor
That's too little time honestly. Who's to say people aren't just gonna wait for the champs to show up?
I wish it were Mandi. Because it's time for her to show she's got what it takes to hang with the elites.

I better not see any of y'all missing eps just because your faves went home early. It's not casting's fault they flopped!
Rumor has it Sylvia slayed. But our little underdog was sent in against a big ***** at the very end.
Sylvia Elsrode wrecked by Laurel Stucky

She is a champ
Soooooo who's the Guy who got eliminated on challenge 29
Could Svetlana be making her mighty return after all these years? lol
Is it bananas

no svetlana
Also to add to PRs list...
No Raquel. No Arissa. No brooke. No shauvon. No Colie. No Jenn. No Lacey. No Ruthie.
Mandi hasn't tweeted or posted on IG but she has liked things and followed people.
i feel like it has to either be Tina or an old school girl that we can't find. Janelle? Genesis? Lori? Keri? Cara? Brynn?
I have no clue
Has anyone checked any of the RR: Viewer's Revenge people?
Not a chocker Ashley M is a good competitor

Is this Challenge teams or individuals?
I just hope whoever the mystery girl is isn't irrelevant

I think the challenge is probably one of their best performing shows ratings wise
highly doubt this is the case but instead of there being a mystery girl could it be that we think some guy is there and he's really not..?
Which is why I think bringing in the champs 2 episodes in is pointless.
