I like her on portand, dislike her on exes 2.
It was the opposite for me. I thought she was kind of a ***** on Portland. Her and Johnny were annoying together IMO. But I really liked her on Exes 2 and I loved her friendship with Nia. I thought she had a good debut too. It's a shame she leaves early because she really has potential.

2) distinct design: in addition to being attractive she is also uniquely and exotically so. there really isnt anyone on the show with her "look"
3) strong personality and independent unlike say jenna or paula or some other follower
4) fearless: goes back to having a strong personality and independence. she was ballsy enough to fight someone much bigger than her
5) competitive ability: she showed a lot of promise on exes 2. additionally people appreciate it when they see a GIRLY girl who is pretty who can compete on the level of men. its not as exciting to watch some manly********** hermaphrodite like laurel, emily come on the show and *predictably* dominate because their thighs and shoulders weigh half as much as the rest of the girls. theres a coolness and novelty factor in seeing a Doctor or rocket scientist who also happens to be a champion MMA fighter or a supermodel chick who is also a harvard graduate. nobody likes pigeon holed******* who can ONLY do one thing.
in averey's case shes a mish mash of a lot of stuff. she's pretty like a flower but also has a strong personality with edge. shes petite yet athletic and strong. shes basically an attractive tomboy which is hard to come by. shes well rounded in the ideal ways and a discontinuity of a stereotypes
i do think she was overreacting with the nany situation tho so in that particular moment i was on nanys side but overall i can see why she gets a lot of hype and love

Never had an Issue with Averey myself. I do believe that she could be a good character for this show though.
