This. It's very interesting to me as well because there are PLENTY of locations in metro Atlanta to choose from.
Like I said before they know we're going to want more than one black roommate if they go to Atlanta and I don't see them doing that.
Yup, I know. We all see how they neglect Hollywood (which to this day still holds the number for the most in one season with 5) & how they obviously view that season as a failure for whatever insane, ******* reason so I don't see them doing that again.
That being said, Gold Spike is actually a pretty solid choice for a Downtown setting. The bar there is actually pretty popular with locals. And it's definitely not your typical Las Vegas bar; it has a more social aspect to it. They have this huge outdoor patio with oversized games like jenga, chess, and beer pong, and they also have live preformances from local bands.

You say they are two different hotels but I don't see anywhere that you can book a room on the Gold Spike website...
LOL that would have been interesting to see, actually. Instead of living in a nice and somewhat lavish suite, they'd rent three/four motel rooms and the roomies would have to pay rent.
But nah, it's actually a nice place. There's no way they'd film there, though, its only has like 44 rooms.
"I stayed at Gold Spike with my parents and two of Dad's business partners when we went to Las Vegas in 2012 for the CES. Our group spent a total of four nights here, so I have a pretty good idea of the quality of this place.
As an added bonus, it was within walking distance of the Fremont Street Experience. The first thing I noticed was that the neighborhood was kind of ghetto; there were lots of people smoking outside, and my father and I were accosted by an aggressive panhandler one morning. However, the hotel itself wasn't that bad; there are usually a few security guards in the casino area at any one time, so don't expect any major problems.
The casino area shares the first floor with a bar and the hotel's in-house restaurant. Unlike at many other casinos, the blackjack games are not available until the evening. I'm not a huge fan of card games, but people who do enjoy them may find this to be a turn-off. On the other hand, the blackjack dealers were really attractive, and it was fun chatting with them."
This place doesn;t sound or look that great to film a relity show.
The Gold Spike doesn't have a casino anymore. The hotel was sold to new owners and they took it out when they completely renovated the place back in 2013 as part of the Downtown Project. The area still isn't the nicest (what downtown areas are?) but it's been cleaned up considerably since you visited in 2012.

That wasn't me lol I literally copy and paste a review of the hotel that I saw online

This is actually starting to sound excellent lmaoo let's hope they cast at least one Brooke type of castmember.

From here on if you guys want to discuss Atlanta or any other location you wished they filmed at let's move that here:

It blows my mind they haven't returned to Miami
Wouldn't be surprised if it's something like "Real World: Throwback" with members of LV1 moving in later in the season or something.
I was told not to hold your breath about that
Any chance the "twist" for this will be Relatives? Seems they would go the predictable route with the direction of The Challenge & Bad Girls Club.
Can it be a modseason twist? Who knows at this point.
But they werent casting for relatives as far the 7 roomates moving in.
Yeah i'm sure if they go that route, they'll be introduced similar to Ex-Plosion.
Who knows, but I highly doubt thats the twist.
I would hate to be the cast for this season...

That's not Gold Spike. That's Oasis. It's a part of the Gold Spike property, but Gold Spike and Oasis are two separate hotels.

Thank God! That would have been tragic!

The giant beer pong looks fun from the pictures and videos I've seen but the overall vibe of the place is still a downgrade compared to Hard Rock.
I agree! downgrade but we will see

LMAO this looks ratchet as hell. Maybe they should have filmed here to see how the cast reacts to it.

OMFG. This is so damn tragic. Bunim Murray just take ya'll *** to Atlanta and stop this mess before it begins.
I apologize to the future cast who is reading here. I had ya'll thinking you would be at the Hard Rock only to find out this...
I hate when they film in hotels , but atleast the Me hotel in Real world Cancun and both Vegas hotles looks better than this.
Why can't they just film in a house like BGC did when they went to vegas

bmp got major dudget slashes, the bgc girls lost their jeeps and now rw is going to use a motel for the new season wtf

Even a loft would have been better than this. It just doesn't represent what you would think of when you hear Real World: Vegas.
BGC still has their jeeps.
