I think that's another reason why Cagayan has been so good. Many of them are actual fans of the show.
Who do you guys see returning from this season? For me, it's: Tony, Spencer, Tasha, Kass, Sarah, Trish, Morgan. The first four are almost definitely returning imo.

The first four are definitely getting calls if Heroes vs Villains 2 happens. Morgan is pretty popular on twitter so I see her getting future invites as well.
I usually don't watch these, but this was a great interview. It really solidifies why I like Tasha so much, she has a great personality and is very charismatic. I hope she gets an invite very soon for a future season
Probably not 29/30 though, both are rumored to be all new players. The former a Blood vs Water II and the latter unconfirmed, likely a gimmick, hopefully a back to basics format though (16 players, no idols, all strategic gameplay). The next two seasons are rumored to be returning to Nicaragua as well.
Season 30 something to do with Legends for example cast members considered legends.

Richard Hatch. Kelly Wiglesworth. Get it done CBS. I kind of want to see Christy Smith play again as well, I'd give her semi-Legend status as the first player with a disability.

Definitely want to see hatch again! If they do a legends I really want to see the other players that should have been brought back but have yet to appear such as Terry(panama), shane(panama), and others. Please no Amanda and James from China lol

I could not agree more. I think Amanda mentioned that she would never play again in an interview, so we should be in the clear. I really don't want to see Ozzy either, I wouldn't complain if he's cast, but I think Terry and Shane would be better choices since we haven't seen them in quite some time.
Sandra will probably be a lock, too and Parvati, too. JFP, as well even though Jeff hates him.
Sandra deserves a spot in a Legends season. Parvati does as well, but I think playing four times is overkill.
Yeah, it would, but I'd love to see if she could make at least the merge. We will likely get a 5-peat from Rupert/Boston Rob.
Rob C, Ken, Spencer, and Jenna M would be good surprises, too. From newer people, I can see Malcolm, Abi, Cierra, Tony/Spencer. Oh and Crystal Cox and Randy returning on the same tribe would be HILARIOUS.

I hope not. I think Rob is done, he ended on a high note so I wouldn't blame him.

I agree with all of this. Peih-Gee, Troyzan, and Natalie B are some of the others I would like to see as well. Twila could be a decent choice too. While skimming through twitter a few weeks ago, I noticed that John Carroll really wants to play again and is always tweeting when new episodes air. I mean he did lead the pack in ousting Boston Rob, that counts for something, right? If you're gonna do a Legends season, you need a lot of older season representation.

I don't want Sandra to play a third time. I love her but I'm 99.9% that she will be the first out. Plus her spot can go to someone that hasn't returned yet.

Sandra sure as hell doesn't besides no jury in there right mind would give her another check. She'd probably pull a Tina and be voted out first because she won
Am i the only one thinking Francesca should have another shot? Just not on a legends season obviously. She really got a crap try at survivor both times with being voted out first and all. IMO if they had her for a third time I think the best format would be a BvW2 with returnees again, she could win if she was given an actual chance.
Can someone post some great seasons of Survivor sine I'm new to the show
Borneo, Australian Outback, Amazon, Micronesia, Gabon, Heroes vs. Villains, Philippines, Blood vs. Water, and Cagayan. I am still relatively new to Survivor though.
So we were hesitant but we were optimistic and now we’re gearing up for two new seasons with all new people back to back.
29 & 30 will both have all new players. I was excited about a Legends theme, but Cagayan has been a refreshing change of pace, I hope the next two seasons deliver and are not snoozefests.

Another full year of new players, awesome! They really burnt through viewer good will with 20, 22, 23, 25, 26 and 27 all having returning players, most that nobody really wanted to see again. It also took away what was special about seeing players from previous seasons, as it became the norm.
It also took away what was special about seeing players from previous seasons, as it became the norm.
This sums it up perfectly. The constant returnee seasons of recent completely diluted the wow-factor that the original All-Stars, and even to a lesser extent Micronesia/HvV, had. I have high hopes for the next two installments, especially if they can get two groups nearly half as good as the Cagayan bunch.

I agree. Survivor without returning players is much more fun, provided casting do a good job. When casting does a bad job, such as Season 24, then you can see why they prefer to have returning players. I would put this current season as one of the 3 best seasons ever.
I am a bit disappointed because I was getting excited about a big all-stars season, but this is still great news. From this season, BVW, and the Philippines, you can make up more than half of an all-star cast which is great news.

Meaning we won't have to see the same people playing for their 3rd, 4th, or even 5th time. When we get an all-stars season again, CBS will have replenished the returnee pool with plenty of fresh faces. It almost feels like we're experiencing a Survivor renaissance, I'm loving it!
Back to Nicaragua I see I'd rather then go somewhere like Madagascar
I'd love a new location, but the cast is truly what matters. If the players are good like they were in Cagayan, the season will reap the benefits.
I'm assuming since it is new players that for the first part of the game it will be Blood pairs vs Water pairs to make it easier to follow. I'm not sure why it bothers me, but I wish they would play the entire intro (if not for the whole season, at least during the premiere/finale). They need to bring back the Rites of Passage as well, it was always a great part of the finale to watch the final 3 or 4 reflect on their time in the game.
