Yeah I meant the ones who frequent the show now. Not ONE of them is classy.
Nia handles herself very well, very intelligent but I wouldn't call her classy & I like her.
Shes not classy... which is not nessecarily a bad thing. However, some can be classy just not all the time. We only see her a few times a year and some of these other girls on The Challenge. Many are different in person I feel.
But Nia is very smart, super pretty, great ***, but I also feel she is very nice if you are within her tight circle not just everyone but many are the same as well.
Its sad that people talk so much about women on tv so harshly but never say anything about men really (except for Frank) on here/social media. Its bad people are so quick to judge without fully knowing. Yes, tv images are bad and people play up for cameras but when your young and getting paid to do this you can lose herself along the way but its about growth and changing overtime and seeing yourself as is and fixing the mistakes.
People will always hate thats life but like they say never judge a book by its cover :)

we also have to remember that some people ,such as CT, have a "reality tv persona" they sometimes take on , on the challenge. Which is not to say it isn't right to do that but saying that they are different IRL vs on the challenge

Take this Nia's thread ;) Last Time I check this was the RATINGS thread like you write a couple hours ago.

Frank has been judged several times here and I'm sure his whole life he's been judged. Stop making this about how women are the only ones that get treated bad.

Amen. If anything it's skewed on this site in the other direction. The only woman I've seen really harshly criticized is Nia. On the other hand there have been some pretty damning conversations, whether fair or not about a TON of the guys on the shows. JEK, CT, Wes, Frank, Zach, Jordan, Johnny R., Ty, **** even TJ.

But not as worst as Nia, Jasmine, Jessica, Camila, Nany, Cara Maria, Jonna, Diem, I could continue.
The comments about those guys don't even compare. TJ not being a good host is not damning.

That isn't the discussion about TJ. There have been a number of discussions on this site about how TJ hates women and is a misogynist and only ever gives credit to the guys and someone suggested that he may have cheated on his wife on a show many years ago...despite the fact that he just got married last year. Saying that Jessica is annoying or Cara is a whiner and whether or not Jonna is hot doesn't compare.

They don't say Jonna is hot...
They don't say Jonna is hot...
The point being that saying oh poor Nia...oh poor girls, the guys are never judged and the women are, is, quite frankly, a load of ****.

Thats fine :encouragement:
People were harsh towards Trey/Explosion dudes/TY/Dustin/Zach/Jordan during their seasons.
and in my opinion for good reason (the OG's atleast)
and in my opinion for good reason (the OG's atleast)
Honestly all of those guys deserved the harshness they got during their respective seasons.
Honestly all of those guys deserved the harshness they got during their respective seasons.
Do they deserve the harshness in the challenge? maybe not. But I can see why they got it during their season.
Honestly all of those guys deserved the harshness they got during their respective seasons.
A lot of these people deserve harshness. Man, woman, black, white, straight, gay...a lot of people have said or done some ****** stuff...and I don't think the criticism has been limited to one group.
Everyone has gotten hate if they've behaved badly. Nobody's singling Nia out because she's a woman, it's because her actions put her on the very top of the "piece of s***" list.

So just because guy eliminations are a lot more entertaining, on average, than girl eliminations all of a sudden people label TJ as a misogynist? ****.
If anybody was wondering about why the ratings/viewers have been bad this season is because both lack of promotion and there really isn't drama this season.
You lose Jemmye,Dustin,Frank, and Nia in the first 3 episodes all would have helped in the drama department.
But Frank and Nia both were a lot more calm this season.

The Draw takes away from drama. Politicking, alliances, and a theme can provide sometimes non alcohol induced drama and this season has none of those and its suffering so every episode seems kinda boring compared to past seasons.

Nah, with Jordan, JB, Johnny, Camila, Nany, Latoya, and many more the drama is still there.

Agreed - the draw creates only a brief moment of suspense during the card "reveal", but there's no lead up or politicking or drama until then. Then they go straight into the elimination before it can even be processed by the person who draws the kill card.
I have to say beyond the Nia/Cara elimination (which we only saw a portion of) and the "old school" intro to the season with the cast meeting in the airport and the fun first night (including the CT/Theresa bball game), the season has been a bit bland for me.
Frank/CT/Nia all were more chilled out and drama-free and/or left too early. In terms of romances providing a hook, there's been plenty of them: Nany/Cohutta had the opportunity to be a gender reversed CT/Diem coupling with the bad girl "hothead" falling for the sweet southern boy, but it all seems so quick and seamless so far. The short-lived love triangle with Dustin/Emilee/Jessica all started and ended within an episode. Even the so-called feuds or long term bad-blood (Cara/Johnny B and CT/Johnny B) don't seem really deep. The big fight (Camila/Nany/CT) was contrived and meaningless - I still don't understand what it was even about.
There's so many cast members, and I don't feel I am getting any sense of them. There's no real stakes or story to hook onto (characters trying to redeem themselves, desperate quest to win, personal back story, overcoming adversity, payback for being done wrong, etc.). Even CT is just floating around in the background leaving no impression. The big human interest story in one episode was Frank getting a virus. To be honest, I'm kind of bored but will give it a few more episodes with the hopes that it will get better ... Maybe this will change?
One of the other problems is that CT isn't giving them a storyline this season. Every season CT has done there's been a story line. CT/Diem fall in love, CT punches Davis, CT wants to trim the fat and fights with Johnny, CT punches Adam, CT backpacks Johnny, CT vs JEK and Wes, CT and Diem are partners, CT and Diem are back together despite him banging all of the other girls.
CT has had one significant moment in 3 episodes...he was angry because he had to pay a bar tab, which was likely divided up by the cast two minutes later and taken care of. CT CLEARLY doesn't give a **** on this one. Not one single ****.
Something Paula said on a podcast Evan used to have is that she was worried about going on Rivals 2 because she felt like she OWED BMP/MTV some Walnuts stuff just because of how often they've brought her back/kept her paid and that she had to do something camera worthy to help them make good TV. CT obviously does not feel the same.

THIS REVIEW WAS DEAD ON!
The editing is terrible and there is no storylines or anything its just challenge/draw/elimination and thats it. Even the beginning doesn't really pick up after the first episode or lead to anything big.
Even deliberating is bland. Seeing Camila go around and talk to people was refreshing because I love that part of the game but what about everyone else?
One of the other problems is that CT isn't giving them a storyline this season. Every season CT has done there's been a story line. I think he cares but this game he doesn't have a lot of control and doesn't sit in any pretty position so he is very low key but its very boring.
Frank has been judged several times here and I'm sure his whole life he's been judged. Stop making this about how women are the only ones that get treated bad.
that does not really count seeing as how he's gay. they are right up there with women in the free for all bullying that happens on reality tv forums and youtube. nobody dare says anything negative about people like Mark, Brad, Darrell, JEK, and even Wes as horrid as he is! Some people are hypocrites (probably most but I will leave it at some).
I think the thing with CT is that he's coming off a win. So now that he's won one of these shows maybe he doesn't feel like he needs to cause drama or stir trouble. He's got nothing left to prove so why even care?
And I don't know why people are complaining about the editing. The shows been edited like this for awhile now. It's odd that people are just noticing it. And as for the Draw..I think a main problem is that everyone doesn't go in it. We've only had certain people go in. It should be Everyone goes into the Draw except the people that the challenge winners of that day choose to go in elimination. That way NOBODY is safe. Everyone would be at risk. This poorest preforming teams go into the draw is stupid and it's not cutting it.
So just because guy eliminations are a lot more entertaining, on average, than girl eliminations all of a sudden people label TJ as a misogynist? Lmao.
you would stick up for him...and go right along with the stereotype. I am of the opposite opinion...most of the female elimination have been MUCH better than the male (Emilee and Jonna aside) the same holds true for some of the recent seasons
