Here are the Ratings for every show new episodes that's aired on MTV this week (House of Food was no where to be found, that's how bad is doing) , so once the Ratings for Free Agents are released tomorrow you guys can compared it. Every show on MTV went down in the rating department they are doing really bad, I hope that's not the case for Free Agents Tonight at least to be consistent:

Are they still airing reruns for Free Agent? commercial for the new epsiodes?
They're still airing commercials but I don't think they're replaying episodes(which would help out with the ratings IMO).
They dont show House of Food anymore because it doesnt come on until Midnight EST.
But yeah the ratings werent THAT great to begin with but ive never seen a show's ratings that midnight or later.

It went up :) Only show on MTV to go up this week and not down.
it's the second most watch Show of MTV this week (Ratings for MTV shows are mediocre right now, but something is something) and the one with the highest number in the 18-49 demographic.

I just hope MTV start showing reruns again and that Catfish premiering help the ratings if MTV actually show commercials for this show.
I watched it on TV for once instead of finding a link online.
You're welcome Challenge fans.
I don't think watching it on TV or online makes a difference for ratings unless you have a Nielsen box.

How do you know I don't have a Nielsen Box? ;)
How do I get a Nielsen box? **** I'll get one just to watch the Challenge!
I don't know, I don't have one. But Roa shouldn't have assumed!
The Challenge will never have "good" ratings because it's on MTV, it's as simple as that.
Survivor being brought up in this thread is amusing because it's just a better made show with a higher budget and a stronger cult following. Nothing beats the promotion Season 2 of Survivor got airing DIRECTLY after a Super Bowl. Though it is sad many shows cannot even get Survivor ratings (which are less than 50% of what they used to be)

One thing I never understood is their logic of - if the ratings do bad we'll just show reruns of Jersey Shore/Ridiculousness and not promote the show and show reruns, if the ratings do decent they'll actually show reruns.

that is because shows like Jersey Shore and Ridiculousness are really popular and will get people to watch MTV (I watched like 4 or 5 of the JS episodes yesterday even tho I had seen them many times before). It's just a high quality fun show!
I am glad the ratings went up, as so far this is a really good season. I just hope it continues to go up and does not slump towards the end like RW Explosion did (I personally was sick of it).
I'm really curious to know what the **** is going on with MTV, never thought a show like 16 and pregnant which looked like a cash cow, would be getting its *** kicked like this. Seems like ratings as a whole are down for all of tv though. There is money to be made by whatever company comes up with a superior and more modern method to gain ratings data than Nielson boxes. It appears they simply cant quantify the myriad ways people consume programs these days.
Catfish is still trending worldwide after 25 minutes that the show ended...Dis anyone saw that? Did they show any pro for The challenge?
They showed one and the after show is why its still trending
Catfish is still trending worldwide after 25 minutes that the show ended...Dis anyone saw that? Did they show any pro for The challenge?
I saw one but the promo I saw they called it the challenge not the challenge: free agents smh
I saw one but the promo I saw they called it the challenge not the challenge: free agents smh
Who cares, it really doesn't matter as long as they show the previews
Who cares, it really doesn't matter as long as they show the previews
It could be confusing to some. Its obvious they are trying to attract new viewers.
They showed one and the after show is why its still trending
It's still trending, the aftershow should be over by now? I hope it brings ratings and some people see the challenge tomorrow.
Every show so far on MTV has go up this week. Hopefully the challenge is not the exception.
