Much better numbers. The Aftershow had better numbers than the first two episodes haha. I'm sure the numbers will continue to rise with the exes arrival and hopefully we will see a 30th season renewal within the next few weeks.
Next week is the finale of American horror story. So in 2 weeks numbers might go up even more
Even though the numbers have gone up as we get closer to the exes arrival. IMO they have gone up with the quality of each episode. I hope the exes arrival doesn't feel like the first episode but more like the third.
Next Week The Real World is Airing after the New Miley Cyrus Unplugged, Hopefully it helps the ratings.
As I have said before I am enjoying the this cast more than I thought, I am strggling a bit to get used to the new format but its no big deal.

I thought I would hate this season, but this is the first season I have enjoyed since Las Vegas.
Yes they finally hit 1 mil. And the exes aren't even there yet... But anyway good ratings also.
Good to know that this show is doing better in ratings. It's really gotten better since the first episode.
Oh yeah!! REAL WORLD EX-PLOSION MTV 10:00 PM 1.364 0.8
Another slight jump. Did the Miley Cyrus thing not even rank? So much for that helping out...
Another slight jump. Did the Miley Cyrus thing not even rank? Hopefully with American Horror story season finale last night, the ratings keep going up.
Well It's doing better ratings wise. Hopefully when the drama gets going the ratings will get much better.
look like we gon have a season 30.. so you telliing me we need 14+ people in a house to get ratings??
14+??? At this point there's really only 11 people there.
Looks like the show might be going on Olympic break next week. All I see in the TV grid is reruns of other programs on February 12th. I hope they take both weeks of the Olympics off because it won't help the ratings to compete with it.

I want the challenge to start already.

Seriously though, it is a smart move. Ratings have been increasing and airing during the Olympics would negate the progress that's been made so far.
They dont want another St Thomas with the Olympics but I hate this because the challenge is MUCH more important then the real world.
Next episode in 2 weeks (it's coming up in my zap2it grid now)!
I never really see a strong correlation between social media activity and these Real World shows but every time I see Real World trending I cant help but get excited to see if the ratings have gone up. Will be messed up if they actually went down but I think I have seen that before haha.
If ratings continue to go up they might get renewed for two seasons instead of one.
It went up again! :) Finally! is doing better than are you the one? that went down to 1.1 this week. Yet another gain. MTV execs have to be pleased with the overall numbers and that they are continuing to increase. Hopefully the layoff with the Olympics doesn't impact the next episodes ratings too much.
I wasn't aware that Are You the One show was doing so well for a new series. Interesting. Happy to see another jump I believe every episode has been a climb. Anyone recall what numbers Vegas pulled?
This is just for episode 5 of B2LV: Wednesday Cable Ratings: ?Extreme Couponing,? ?Storage Wars? The show is in recovering mode, plus every show on MTV have been down since Jersey Shore ended. So yeah its doing good for MTV In 2014. On top of that it wasnt going against a show that pulls ratings as high as Duck dynasty and America Horror story (Thank god AHS ended last week)

It's not fair to compare it to Duck Dynasty because no cable reality TV series has done as well as Duck Dynasty, nor are too many shows coming in even close. That show certainly does not set the bar for every other reality TV series or else Bravo would have gone out of business with all the Real Housewives series being canceled, the Teen Mom series would have died a while ago, and even the beloved Challenge would have gotten the axe by now.

If The Real World was in another timeslot and night , the ratings would be even better. Anyways, Just check and MTV is only showing 4 reruns of last night episode until the new episode...But they are showing a bunch of Teen Mom and Ridiculousness. They need to put their **** together especially since ratings are going up.
Ratings are definitely improving. I think if numbers hit 1.7 - 1.8 million and are maintained at that or higher for 2-3 weeks, then we'll get a renewal (preliminary talks have already begun, but things can easily change). Teen Mom has pulled in 2.4 million two weeks in a row now, and Teen Wolf has been doing better than normal hovering around the 2 million mark. Those are the numbers MTV wants to see, and I'm sure they're happy with the improvement RW is making, but knows the show is capable of better. If there is a renewal, I hope the twist is worthwhile. Jon Murray said they came up with about 10 solid ideas, so I'm very hopeful!
