I've heard today that it's going to be a live reunion..don't know how that is supposed to work though considering they usually film for 6-8 hours to get enough footage...
Good question. If, true, I'd assume they will do some rehearsal prep for the various segments and then give us a live hour or 90 minutes with the TD and video people behind the scenes going crazy. If every there were one to attend to see what happens on live TV, this would be it.

What do you mean?
It's a small, intimate studio with few people in the audience. The cast and senior MTV people are right there just a few feet from you. If you have in interest in TV production, you may never have a better opportunity to see what happens when the beginning and ending times are fixed and live right in front of you. The cast will be wired, too, because they never do this. You have no chance to screw up a video in the control room. When the host says "lets look at what happened" there is no time to cue up the video, it's either ready or you're unemployed.
Rule #1 of live TV is the same as for radio -- no dead air time.
When I did TV news both as an anchor and as a producer/director, it was a constant adrenalin high every night.
Good luck, @Scooter5000. Wish I could be there to watch.
Well, I'd assume no drunk/high cast members this time around.... (damn Paula is probably gonna call in sick;) )
Honestly though, I just can't picture anything half way proper coming out of this... I don't think I've herd of a singly reunion where production did not have to intervene in a way(ppl going off stage, crying, yelling, playing on their phones, being too passive in their answers etc...)

Oh I was reading way into your other post too much.
That's really cool though, I wish I could be there as well. Frank is going to have a field day!

Hold on a minute, how many jobs have you had, LOL?
V1man, do you think this is a good sign for the series if MTV is willing to do a " live" reunion show since its a huge risk to do one live rather han taping one?

I've previously posted that there will be another challenge. I don't know that it means anything for the series, because this one has been under contact for a while.

About 100, but then I'm ancient.
(TV: WMT TV in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and American Forces Korean Network, Seoul. Both probably when your parents were in diapers.)
lol I dont know, can you just tell me please?? Either there is too many "to be continued" episodes or the reunion is being filmed the day before its being aired, I have no idea
I know right funny joke but true
I dont understand how rival 1 had 10 episode and this one has 12 its the same format 3 male team and three girls team in the finals
Rivals I kicked off with 28 cast members, Rivals II with 32... Do the math, it's not that complicated :encouragement:
I didnt know that rivals 1 had 28 cast member I thought all challenges had 32 you and v1man finna stop telling me "to do the math" all you had to say was rivals 1 had 28 and rivals 2 had 32.

I mean, people shouldn't have to spoon feed everything
People should know that Rivals I had 7 pairs and this year there's 8

WTF are your talking about? I could care less about the number of people in a cast. I'm not a challenge Trivia junkie.
YOU asked the number of episodes remaining between now and Sept 25. All you have to do is count the intervening weeks. If you get butt-hurt by that response, then there is absolutely nothing I can or will do for you.

Wait Really? I know the First Rivals had 28 people But I thought this challenge had the same amount.
Let Me check again.
EDIT. Yep There is 32 people. I'm just realizing that now. LOL.
If anyone's interested, Diem will be on Spreecast tonight at 8pm EST.

I missed the first half hour when they covered the challenge. Anything interesting from Camila and Diem re: the Challenge?

I think they give you the option to replay the video - hopefully it lets you do that.
I'm not sure if all of this was in the first half, but they talked about:
- What it was like to work with their partners; Diem has known Aneesa for a long time and they are both people-pleasers which got them both into trouble a few times throughout this challenge, Camila never talked to Jemmye and Diem said it was interesting to have them paired together because Jemmye was not in their alliance but did follow Camila's lead
- How divided it was in the house between the veterans and the newer girls (they said something about clubs being formed)
- How Diem has dealt with some of the judgment she's received online as a result of "talking about cancer too much" or "playing the victim" (in some fans' opinions)
- Camila's episode tomorrow night; she talked about being more calm this season
- They also mentioned that this challenge brought a lot of different people together and the house was full of drama, so MTV/BMP had to pick and choose what they wanted to show, and because of that a lot isn't shown
- Whether or not they'll do another challenge; they both seemed like they wouldn't want to and said that it's draining to be in the house even though they love the challenge aspect, Diem said she does like the Duel challenges
I loved having them do the chat together! It's refreshing to see them outside of the challenge setting. I'm glad they've become such good friends.
I feel like there is a lot of people after this challenge that won't do one again... People either said they won't do one or they only will if it is a Duel.
I'd be really sad if either one of them retired, let alone both of them.
Yeah, JEK, no joke. It sounds like the house was extra insufferable this time around. I'm crossing my fingers that a Duel is up next.
I'm sad that they said they wouldn't do one again
I don't believe Camila...wouldn't really miss either except for the fact we're stuck with all new kids
I feel like there is a lot of people after this challenge that won't do one again... People either said they won't do one or they only will if it is a Duel.
Lmao. Then they need to keep showing up because they won't be able to tell.
I'm sad that they said they wouldn't do one again
Camila didn't say outright she wouldn't do one again, all she said is that it was draining dealing with all the drama in the house, Diem on the other hand said it would take a lot to have her do another one so I think Diem is probably the one retiring but not Camila
I'm sad that they said they wouldn't do one again
I'm Happy. That would be 2 Less Non-Castmembers that I have to put up with on these shows. The Less Fresh Meat the Better.
