I forgot it was on tonight....I really enjoyed New York last night. The people were likable and it was about real people...not partying and crazy fights.
I wish they would put older seasons on iTunes. The oldest Real World is Austin and the Challenges are all crazy. They have the first Duel and the Gauntlet 2 & 3 but no Inferno's, Battle of the Sexes, or the Original Gauntlet....don't understand that......and they have no Road Rules on there at all.
Who do ya'll think is prettier? Arissa or Irulan from RW: Las Vegas, I was shocked Alton went for Irulan over Arissa. I'm new here but i've always looked at these forums and never felt like creating an account until now LOL. I've never seen the older seasons and I can see why people complain about newer real world not being good. Las vegas had 28 episodes O_O it's been on like all day but I can't stop watching it's really good! Although St. Thomas was boring I am glad there was a little break from over-dramatic stupid constant drama. It was a more classy cast :D

Welcome to Vevmo!
Yeah, I thought Arissa was better looking myself.
I think people underestimate this season in terms of "realness". Watching Vegas 1 after soo many years of watching real world, even this season seems more real than recent ones. I feel connected with every room mate and even though they were ******* like animals, each person has substance to them.
****, this has been on all day. IMO 30 minute episodes are so much better, it allowed MTV to expand the season instead of wasting their time on flop shows that get cancelled after a few weeks.
It also allowed me to catch up with the reruns of the particular episode. The fact that I have to wait until 2 am to watch a rerun or next week because the show is an hour long nowadays.... -_-
Anyway, LOVE Arissa all over again.
So glad they're showing old seasons, watching San Francisco now and I love the scene where Pedro declares that he's isolating himself from everyone else and Pam's reaction.. pure real drama right there.
Pedro will always be missed. The man changed the culture of America by being on the Real World. No season since has altered the consciousness of the country.

Amen. Re-watching San Francisco has made me fall in love with how Real World used to be, I genuinely enjoy it and can feel like I relate to each cast member in some way (Well...almost, not Puck).
Is this Jo the same Jo that flipped out on Gauntlet 2 and left the first night?
Yes but on San Francisco she was so cool, I loved her. Possibly the coolest girl ever on the show. So down to earth, funny and cute.
Is this Jo the same Jo that flipped out on Gauntlet 2 and left the first night?
Yep, it is her! I hated how she left so early though.
What is up with Alton in the night vision scenes? He looks like a totally different person lol. Looks like he grows ****** hair and puts on 15 pounds of muscle hahaha! Really weird.
Me too. I thought he was lightskinned. lol.

Wait, this comment was about Jo? That absolutely shocks me.
Yes, whats wrong with Jo?
Nothing is "wrong" with her but "down to Earth" is definitely not something I'd ever label Jo. I also don't find her "cute" but to each their own on that.
I like Jo but I just was shocked by the "down to Earth" part.

Yeah actually thinking about it. Marrying a man, separating and gets a restraining order all in the space of a 6 month (or something ridiculous like that) isn't down to earth, still loved her though.

LOL--okay, now we're on the same page. I liked her as well.
I liked her times 3. lol.
I had no idea that the producer of Jwoww and Snooki/Jersey Shore was a finalist on Miami Real World. That was something you don't find out every day.
why in the world was Jo brought in? Puck's been in like every episode since the kickout lol. Mark was interviewed so that was a highlight of this marathon. God, it's over at 630/530 cst though.
LOL at one of the directors getting involved with a cast member on New York.
I think Becky pursued him. The 1st Season had a lot of moments that would never be duplicated again like crew interaction, specifically the crew member imitating Eric talking to Missy on the phone while chowing down on cereal.
Also, Mark's appearance on RW3 was before RR1...
I wonder if they'll show the Reunion between the first 3 seasons of RW and RW London showing up at the end. You'll see Puck getting Judd to flip out over Pedro, Eric backing Jon's (RW2) right to be a virgin, and watch Lars from RW London get all the girls applauding him.
Saw this on Twitter today. They made an article ranking the seasons of the Real World:

22. Austin
21. New Orleans 2
20. St. Thomas
19. San Diego
18. Chicago
17. Paris
16. Las Vegas 2
15. Sydney
14. San Diego 2
13. New York 2

10. Las Vegas
9. Miami
8. New Orleans
7. London
6. LA
5. Hawaii
4. Boston
3. New York
2. Seattle
1. San Francisco
Glad to see Denver ranked low, I couldn't stand that season either! I don't understand how they ranked San Diego and Chicago so low, ditto for San Diego 2 and DC being so high on the list. Ecstatic to see New Orleans, Boston, and Miami so high!
Why does it say New York 2 but doesn't list Brooklyn as NY 3? That is odd. And Denver was awesome. Austin not so much.
Probably because Brooklyn was called Brooklyn.
And yeah I disagree with a LOT on that list. DC and SD2 are WAAAAY too high. And New Orleans 2, San Diego 1, and Chicago are too low. In my opinion, of course.
