Did people like Trishelle during this season?
Yes, she was very popular and that popularity led to her work with Playboy.

Maybe I just have to keep watching. Not that I hate her or anything at this point but I she annoys me at times. I'm just surprised by that because I loved her on The Gauntlet and The Inferno
She got quite a bit of airtime, at least more than Nick and Brittini combined. She even got herself a seat on stage at the reunion.
And she was overly dramatic there too. I don't see why my cousins are friends with her till this day. SMDH.
I don't hate Trishelle, or any of the Vegas cast for that matter. The only one I found boring in terms of storylines was Frank, but he did give funny commentary.
Also, I wanna know, is Steven the only castmate to have been married at the time of the show (they were separated, but still)?

Nope. Irene #1 was as well.

I thought Irene got married during the season and left immediately after the wedding? Though I haven't seen that in about 20 years so I may be wrong
In the pic of Kenny on Hollywood it looks like Ace from RW Paris is to the left of him. There was no one on Vegas I was overly fond of at all.
Irene on RW2 LA was engaged at the beginning of the show and married halfway through. She left once she was married and Beth A replaced her. But not until after Glen replaced David when he got kicked out. Irene was there to boot David for the night the whole incident happened with Tami.
I think its really cool they are doing this. I hope it isn't a "farewell Real World" thing and just some nice promotion for once. I never saw Vegas, I didn't get into RW until San Diego although I did watch some Hawaii. I was more into the challenges at the time.
I know NetFlix has been trying to get RW and RR for their library but the problem is MTV wants a lot of other reality shows that do not do well at all so it has been a no go.
I WISH Netflix would do that. I'd go back and watch RR.
Same here. I would watch all the past RW and RR seasons.
I find it a bit weird that the Vegas cast went to Australia in the middle of the season. Usually they go on their vacation when the season is about to end.
It is not like NetFlix has not tried but MTV wants all their **** reality shows as part of the deal and NetFlix is only interested in RR and RW so it has been not a worthwhile purchase. What is the point of buying or leasing a show that will not attract viewers? That's the problem. NetFlix knows that RR and RW would draw people but none of the rest of the shows would and they would remain unwatched. Thus wasting space in the library and so the money gets spent elsewhere.
What is up with Alton in the night vision scenes? He looks like a totally different person lol. Looks like he grows ****** hair and puts on 15 pounds of muscle hahaha! Really weird.
I think this Vegas season is where the RW jumped the shark. After this season, it seemed like alot of cast members from future RW's did the show to become famous.

It is also when the show went from having really serious moments to being focused on the drinking and partying aspect much more. RW Boston has a much more different tone than Vegas.

I don't see why they wouldn't just agree to put on the other MTV shows on as well, even if it doesn't "attract viewers". Have you not seen 90% of the things on Netflix? It's mostly these ****** indie films that no one has heard of, you think people are watching those?

NetFlix has a lot of stuff and not just the latest releases or indie films or straight to video films. There are a lot of foreign films, some excellent British and even Canadian shows in the library. Not to mention documentaries as well. Plus, House of Cards their new series is dynamite!
Actually, there is a large indie film market that exists in the US and abroad. Many small indie films just do not have the money for distribution. So, yes, people are watching those. If they weren't, they would not be renewed once the contract rights for them come up. They are not going to spend the money on 10-12 shows when they only want 2 of them for the library.
Now, off the tangent and back to the thread...
I wonder if they will put RW London actually. I wouldn't mind seeing that one again because Jacinda was crazily impulsive like starting a food fight at dinner for no reason.
