Oh and about Evelyn retiring...Well IMO it's a good thing. Entertainment wise She did have her moments but she didn't really do anything memorable. And she was a good competitor...but to me it's just another Fresh Meater I don't have to see on these shows. I also like that she went out on top...Something Paula should've done.
Hmm... I haven't read anything from the cast members suggesting a change in production. Is it a negative change or a positive one?
I would assume positive since castmembers of "The Ruins" and "Cutthroat" openly complained about the treatment from production and the horrible conditions. This season and even on Rivals looked MUCH better. I attended the "Cutthroat" reunion show and the cast spent more than an hour complaining about the awful conditions, the house, and how they were imprisoned in the house.
I just listened to the Coral/Laurel podcast, well kinda listned to parts of it, was pretty boring. But did I miss something, since when were Laurel/Coral best friends?? I didnt know they were close. I saw Coral talked to Katie, Derrick, Abram, Aneesa and Wes on twitter and yeah I knew they were all friends with her just by watching the show but Coral and Laurel?? 1st time I heard that.

She has commented on that fact repeatedly. She thinks those memorable moments happened, and others cast members have commented with similarity.
I think, for whatever it is worth, that demeaning workplace stuff was just something Tonya's lawyers threw in there in case her other claims failed just to keep the case alive.
I am of the opinion that on the above point you are fundamentally mistaken. It was not an afterthought. It is fundamental to the claim under California Title X.

I have thought of Laurel as a white version of Coral. Put those two on a challenge together. I bet it would be awesome.
MTV.com has an article about RW cast members they wish would have done a challenge. Their list: Cara (RW Chicago) Christina (RW Paris) Scott (RW Brooklyn) Andrew (RW DC) Ashley (RW DC) Entire cast of RW New Orleans 2 I kind of enjoy that MTV.com is doing these little articles, despite the fact that most of them are plagued with the newer seasons. It's still a nice little memory to see people like Cara and Christina pop up on the site. I always loved Christina and wanted her to do a challenge. Cara kind of sucked, but bonus points to the article for mentioning her "Get my ******* name right, Tonya!" quote. Criminally underrated, indeed. I always preferred Keri. She fell off the face of the earth, but ****it I loved her. Obviously besides those two, there's still time for the rest of these people to do a challenge. However, it kind of reminds me of something I haven't been loving about most recent challenges. I feel like a lot of the challenges seem to almost be exclusively meant for a small number of individuals. Like, for instance, if you never had a rival or hookup, you were automatically DQed from competing in the last two challenges. I guess I just feel like nowadays it's a lot harder for the more low-key RW/RR cast members to get cast on a challenge, whereas back in the day there was an opportunity for literally anybody, no matter how "boring" they may have been (Jeremy anyone?). I know it's kind of an odd thing to want more of, but I'd like to see less obvious cast members on the challenges, like say McKenzie or DC Mike. Does any of this make sense? I'm kind of rambling.. NOTE: I actually don't think Mike or McKenzie were boring, but they don't exactly stand out amongst some of the more dramatic people in recent seasons. Plus, they're two of my favorites in recent years.
It's crazy that you bring that up..because I was thinking the same thing just days ago...I like these new formats but they seem to be very limiting in the people that BMP can really get. That's why I would like to see a New Format(or one that hasn't been done to death)were ANYONE can get in on it and compete. And good call about the more low-key people not really getting to be on these things...I mean when was the last time we had someone like Christina(South Pacifc) on?
Rachel, Aneesa, Johnny, Camila, Leroy, Naomi, Dunbar, Paula, Emily, and Ty's individual threads have been updated with their couple interview.
Well, that is what happens when you get arrested and you have no history on the challenges for BMP to think you are worth fighting with the VIACOM lawyers and insurance underwriters. (I'm sure someone will want to bring up Abram, that that is why I mention "history on the challenges" for BMP to be able to make a case for using you as an exception to their new apparent "no tolerance" policy.)
So theoretically speaking, if BMP was willing to offer Puck any amount he asked for to come back, would MTV/Viacom/whoever allow it?
Derrick looks so old...thought he was older than 27..like Beth said on the gauntlet 2 aftershow "he looks like he's about 35, cause he's an alcoholic!!". Didn't hear the podcast but bashing abram and ct is dumb, they've proven time after time to be one of the strongest competitors.
I've always thought that Derrick, in his younger days, was one of the most handsome guys I've ever seen but Beth had me in stitches that entire after show when she talked about Derrick's alcoholism and hair plug-like appearance. People always praise Coral for her witty commentaries but I've always thought that Beth had the most effective deliveries. Derrick has always been unshaven but his beard was always at least groomed and suiting for his appearance. Now the unkemptness he has just makes him look sort of homeless. He probably doesn't care about his appearance anymore now that he's married.
So theoretically speaking, if BMP was willing to offer Puck any amount he asked for to come back, would MTV/Viacom/whoever allow it?
I have no idea what their criteria may be. Depending upon how certain events during "Exes" are explained, your hypothetical may be ripe for a more concrete explanation during discovery.
I have no idea what their criteria may be. Depending upon how certain events during "Exes" are explained, your hypothetical may be ripe for a more concrete explanation during discovery.
Maybe I'm wrong but hasn't there been attempts to have Puck on another challenge but something always comes up. Like wasn't he contracted for the Inferno 2 but was replaced shortly before time of filming but apparently he told MTV he would only do it for $100000?
So apparently KellyAnne and Cahutta were going to be on Exes until KellyAnne backed out last minute because she found out Wes was going. Gutted, although this gives me hope that we could see her next challenge.
Are they ever going to cast Ashlee, the basketball player from new orleans 2? Has she turned down BMP's invitations? Or what about Knight and Jemmye? I'm so tired of the same old cast members. Or Eric from New Orleans 2? He seemed like a great guy! Maybe Preston? McKenzie? Except for Ryan everybody on that season was likable! Why aren't they casting any of them on the challenges?? I think a great idea for next season's challenge would be to caste all challenge newbies, cast members who have never done a challenge. It would solve so many problems. It would get rid of the same old tired alliances. Get Rid of the silly aerial challenges, over water! Do secret ballots for the voting for eliminations. Or better yet, each episode they could use a different mechanic to determine who goes into eliminations... One week, the two worst teams from that weeks challenge would go up against each other, no voting. Another week, it could be the worst performing team vs a team that gets voted in by secret ballot. Or, the show could rank players every week based on cumulative performance in challenge rounds, For instance if a player takes first one week and 5th the next, their cumulative score would be 6, and anyone with more than six cumulative points would be ranked below them. The two cumulatively worst players would go against each other in the elimination round, with one going home. There are so many simple ideas BMP could employ to make the show less tired, less predictable, and have more performance based results. Am I insane? Am I the only person that feels this way? What are other peoples ideas for new interesting rules that would make the show watchable again? Which challenge newbies that haven't been on a challenge yet, would people like to see?
I like the idea of having a challenge with ALL newbies and NO vets. How interesting would it be to NOT see one or any of JEK or Laurel/Cara Maria/Jen/Mandi & Ev on a challenge? How great would it be if they got mainly the older casts who havent ever done a challenge as well? You get an older audience & of course the newer audience.

With the challenge ratings being as low as they are, can they really afford to bring in a bunch of new people with no challenge experience who we haven't seen in a while? As we've all seen, a person can be one way on their RW season and completely different on the Challenges. BMP and MTV bring in the people they know will bring competition, or drama, or ***, or laughs. At this point, they're going for a sure thing versus the unknown. Can't say I blame them.

If every episode this season gets as many viewers as some of the last few episodes last season, would that be considered good enough to renew the series for multiple seasons?

The entire season would need to have double the viewers Rivals did.
I am fairly certain BMP knew what happened to those missing pain pills but never showed it publicly.
****. But either way it doesn't matter as I still loved that season regardless. And Eric hasn't said anything about doing a challenge. And I'm not surprised Sahar said no. She seems boring anyway. As for McKenzie she'd blackout before they would even show her name here or in the opening credits. Sorry I went there but its true.
I wish Callie was on a challenge. DC was the only season I really watched. I didn't watch whatever was after. I watched some of Vegas but it got repetitive with drinking every single episode. Then San Diego was all about LGBT issues and I stopped watching after like episode 2.

IU loved Callie and felt that she deserved more screen time. And San Diego had a somewhat nice cast but was ruined with friggin' Zach, Franky and Ashley. Other than that I loved it.
I don't know any of those people! Haha. The first challenge I watched was Duel 2 andI don't think any of them were on that, because after Duel 2 was Fresh Meat 2, right? Also, I wish Brittini (from Hollywood) would come back. She would be tough competition too.
LOL, yeah they werent really on Duel 2. But I guess you're new to the series. You missed some great stuff.

There was a time when the courts wouldn't cooperate in her leaving the country -- probation issues.
I watched everything past Duel 2. And that was pretty long ago...at least I think :p
Brittini is a mom now and either married or engaged and soon to be married. There was a time when the courts wouldn't cooperate in her leaving the country -- probation issues.
I think you're confusing Brittini with Brianna...
Brittini is a mom now and either married or engaged and soon to be married. There was a time when the courts wouldn't cooperate in her leaving the country -- probation issues.
Are you sure you're not thinking of Brianna?
I loved Arissa on Reunited and on her original season. I think she should've made it to the end on BOTS2. However one thing that bother me was the sketchiness of the Alton ordeal. In fact I would've loved to see that **** go down on Exes.
Alton dated Irulan, not Arissa. And I agree with you and WOOK_, I wanna see Callie on a challenge.
Brittini is a mom now and either married or engaged and soon to be married. Also I didn't know she was like that. Wierd.
I watched everything past Duel 2. And that was pretty long ago...at least I think :p
Yep by 3 years.
Alton dated Irulan, not Arissa. And I agree with you and WOOK_, I wanna see Callie on a challenge.
I know that but if I remember correctly he supposedly cheated.
