"I would argue that with a 50%+ winning percentage in the daily challenges, plus the Finals and plus the gameplay, my wins stand as three of the four most dominant performances by any female competitor in the history of this game, and among the best by anyone (male or female) who’s played. I was victorious because I played by far the best game, and was clearly the best competitor, on the three Challenges I won. When it comes to a combination of gameplay and performances, I do believe Kenny and Johnny’s wins were well-deserved. They’re two of the best players in the game. I’m not denying them that. That being said, I believe I’m a better player, and am far more capable of playing an independent game than either of them." (Evelyn, Evelyn (EvelynMTV) | Formspring). She is delusional in thinking that she is a better player than Johnny or Kenny. If I remember correctly, she got sent in to face Kellyanne on the Ruins by Kenny, Johnny and Evan. If she played such a good game, how did she end up getting screwed over by those three. And the fact that she thinks she is a better player than them is suprising, although I think she said it out of context. Being a female, I don't think she is a better performer than either of them (because if Nick Brown was a girl, he'd be the best girl). However, if she was comparing her gameplay against the other girls to Kenny and Johnny's gameplay against the other boys, then she might be correct. Her answers are also extremely cocky. Somewhere else on her formspring she goes on to say that she doesn't want to be one of those competitors who keeps going on the challenge and sacrifices his/her real life goals. Hasn't she been on the challenge from the time she was 18-24. These are just assumptions, but by competing on 6 challenges, she probably has not graduated college, held a good job, and is behind on her career path. Although she says that she doesn't take these things seriously and wants to move on, she seems to talk a lot about them, hence her 5 paragraph, 1600 word response to a challenge question.

Thanks for the laugh. It beats watching the pathetic Giants/Falcons game on Fox. By the way, the facts refuting your "probably" comment in bold were available to you above, but I'm guessing you couldn't be bother to read. I'm still laughing. :rtfm:

I guess she has money though because of her challenge wins. V1man, what is your opinion on all the things that I stated before that comment?

V1man, what is your opinion on all the things that I stated before that comment?
Frankly, given past supporting comments by others here, I didn't feel there was any new ground covered which deserved a response, beyond perhaps a note that she changed schools and lost ground, as do most people with such a drastic move. (She previously was an undergrad at Hofstra). All the time she has had a lucrative reptile breeding business (a real life). What she sees in those critters, I'll never understand. But, no, the challenge wins are nice but don't sustain her financially. Who the **** cares anyway?

If you start at 18 4 years will put you at age 22 and not 21. Also, even if she is behind by 2 years she will have no debt from college like the majority of people. I would trade no debt from college for being 2 years behind.

When I graduate, I'll be 21 by the way. Anyways, the only thing that I wanted to say through my last 2 posts was that I don't really like Evelyn because of her cocky attitude. The End.
smh @ this v1man thinking that he knows her because he did an interview with her.
smh @ this newbie Infinite thinking he knows all here at Vevmo. Maybe spend a little more time doing your homework before making comments like that. V1Man and Evelyn are good friends in real life - so he would know the truth WAY more than you, Mr. 13 posts.
smh @ this v1man thinking that he knows her because he did an interview with her.
Welcome to vevmo, young one. Well, there was that one day I spent with her in the emergency room in LA... but what do I know, I'm just a former agent and manager of reality peeps, and an LA TV production company partner and TV producer who has employed a bunch of current and former MTV shows. :big_boss: Do some research... Ask a mod... there are lots of resources available to you. Opps, too bad. So few lines between welcome and "don't let the door hit you in the *** on the way out."
smh @ this v1man thinking that he knows her because he did an interview with her.
Sucks that this is the one guy backing me up in this argument... But, all I wanted to say is that I don't like Evelyn because I think she is cocky and slightly delusional.
Her statement about having the best gameplay was in response to the challenges she won. Did she win The Ruins? No.
She was speaking about her challenge gameplay in general towards the end of the quote. It wouldn't make sense if she said that she just was a good competitor and was smarter on the challenges she won.

Yea she's a great competitor but sheessh, tone it down a notch. It's like all this talk of CT being unbeatable (which is laughable because he's been beat in every challenge he's participated in lol), it's annoying.

On the other hand, I think CT is an absolute beast. He isn't the smartest player though...
It was also laughable how in the beginning of the podcast Evan and Kenny we're talking about how these challenges have so many "********" or "low lives" etc. As if they are a bunch of angels. Irony at its finest!
Yeah Kenny likes to call people ********. I think in his own mind's eye he's a good guy. And all the people he attempts to bully are the ********. He's so deluded. It's not enough for these clowns to bully people on the show. Now they're using derricks podcasts to harass the other cast members.
lolz
Are these "vacations" all inclusive? Because I could really use one! ;)
I do think Evelyn is strong, but not as strong as she makes herself out to be. We've yet to see her on a challenge with Rachel; besides the failure that was "The Island" & as far as Veronica, I went back and watch older challenges with her in them, and might I say, Veronica talked a lot of **** but she backed up EVERYTHING she said. People say they threw missions for her to win lifeshileds, but in reality in the Inferno she won half of them on her own & on the gauntlet she saved herself on the last gauntlet day. I still say they do an All-Star challenge where NO ONE goes home with the best of them: Alton, Landon, CT, Derrick, Mark, Theo, Darrell, Timmy, Mark & Abram. & Veronica, Rachel, Tonya, Katie, Coral, Tina, Jodi, Kina, Susie & Evelyn. That cast alone would bring in millions of viewers
I almost can understand Evelyn's athletic abilities being compared to Rachel's --- almost --- but Veronica, that's a good laugh.
I almost can understand Evelyn's athletic abilities being compared to Rachel's --- almost --- but Veronica, that's a good laugh.
no no no Veronica is nowhere near a competitor of Evelyn. BUT, Veronica had her run back in the day....before everyone pumped steroids into themselves
I almost can understand Evelyn's athletic abilities being compared to Rachel's --- almost --- but Veronica, that's a good laugh.
Back on the Gauntlet and Inferno, she actually was the best performer in some missions that involved boys and girls on challenges with Theo, Darrell, Abram, Adam L, Dave, Rachel, and Timmy. She won Turntable and Dukes of Saturn. I don't remember ever watching Evelyn do better than good male competitors on a challenge.

EDIT: Sorry, I missed the word: "good". Veronica was great in her prime BUT you have take into consideration, that the daily challenges on gauntlet and the inferno were way different than right now. Turntable favoured the smaller players. Which is why Veronica was able beat all the men. Which is also why Sarah (who wasn't really good) was able to outlast every man except Theo G. Dukes of Saturn also favoured smaller people, like Mike said on his blog. The car window was pretty small and it was difficult to get in/out. I'm sure if Evelyn would've been on the same challenges, she would've probably won some of those too. There's a reason she didn't win any lifeshields on the Inferno 2 anymore as the missions were getting more physical. Like you said earlier about your comment, I'm going to say it too about mine: It's my opinion and you have every right to disagree, like I'm disagreeing with your comments. I think Evelyn kicks *** and is the best female ever to appear on the challenges.

The challenges have gotten WAY more intense and physical. Without a good social game, Ev always makes it far (if not to the end). Veronica without a social game would be one of the first ones out.
You guys are nuts, Evelyn is hands down the best chick on these things when it comes to athletic ability like she almost beat Landon in that exile and he beat everyone, and yes Id say shes better at the game then Johnny or Kenny, the problem is shes only 1 person, sometimes 2 with Wes, but because theres a bunch of paranoid sheep around, you cant get stuff done. Ev/Wes try and work with the sheep, which never works because they are paranoid and will turn on you and will make dumb decisions, what JEK do is let the sheep wander and just kick them off, its ridiculous how the majority of the people just let them sale to the end and dont mind that they never go into elimination and if the sheep were smart they would realize all 10 of them are not going to the finals because there isnt that many spots available. And its almost impossible to get her off a challenge, hense the isalnd, which was very funny to see "the family" all threatened by 1 girl who totally effed with their game play, and she could have easily won the ruins elimination. I always hear Katie/Robin/whoever complain that they're tired of the same *******s winning these things but yet they do nothing to stop it.

But nobody wanted to do it.

Danny and Ev lost to Wes and Casey because they had much less weight to carry. Don't misunderstand me - Veronica is a tough chick and all, but not far as great as Evelyn.
You guys are nuts, Evelyn is hands down the best chick on these things when it comes to athletic ability like she almost beat Landon in that exile
She almost beat Landon AND Carley who nearly passed out on that exile and probably cost Landon a great deal of time.
