Hmmm...I'm on the fence about Jonna as well. I see JD being a GG rather than a BA though, but wasn't he kinda an instigator on Brooklyn? Or was that one of the other cast members?
Yeah that's what I was basing it off of, I didn't watch most of Brooklyn but I remember him being kind of sneaky and um, angry? It'd be neat if they did a Good Guys vs. Bad ***** vs. "Neutrals" Couldn't really come up with a name for the people who are good and bad (Theresa and Camila for example seem like the sweet, fun girls but won't take **** from people, etc.). Same rules as Cut Throat but with a much bigger cast, plus more eliminations and missions and making it a longer season, that would be great...to me at least:biggrin:
I could see them doing another 3 team challenge. I think that concept helped to shake it up a bit.
Derrick said on his Podcast that he was a replacement for Kenny on Cutthroat. Kenny was originally cast.
I should actually correct this: Derrick was the replacement for Bronne and Dunbar was the replacement for Kenny. Bronne dropped out at almost the last second, which explains the tweet from someone who said that Derrick was running around the mall. If Derrick had replaced Kenny, he would have known before the day of departure.
You're right Molds... they didn't go into it much I just remember Kenny said something like he was going to be on it and said what it was that kept him from going and Derrick said he wasn't originally going to be on it and I just assumed that Derrick was Kenny's replacement (I didn't know about Bronne) but I was wrong !! What else is new ??
I was thinking while rewatching Road Rules: Semester at Sea, wouldn't Pua have been an awesome choice to be on a challenge? She seemed like such a bad ***, but I could see her being on the good guys team. Random, but as we were discussing Infernos, I thought about her, lol.
Yes, she is one of my top 3 favorite Road Rules females.... she was really cool and didn't take any **** from anyone just like Belou(though not as crazy....lol). But on her season she did say she wasn't a competitor, so maybe she got asked but declined.

Dunbar replied that the 7,500 appearance fee was totally worth the 75,000 he could've had on the Island. Probably the one time Dunbar has made me laugh.
Come on the custom Johnny Bananas Backpack line was his greatest moment on any BMP show.
True, lol but I'm a bit skeptical. How long do you think it took Dunbar to come up of that. (He has to count on his fingers and toes if you ask him how many challenges he's been on.) I'm pretty sure that someone said it around the house and he just happened to say it in his interview. Great line nonetheless.
I could see them doing another 3 team challenge. I think that concept helped to shake it up a bit.
No it didn't. The same things that happens on every team challenge happened here. 1. The Rookies get sent home first 2. One (or two people in this case) get sent into the elimination round over and over again just to protect an alliance within the team. 3. The Vets still have the same sense of entitlement 4.All of the girls hook up with each other yet NONE of the guys are shown messing around with each other. And more.... I like the 3 team format but I don't think it changed much.
That one really hurts you huh? LOL :)
Yes! I wanna see some guy on guy action ****it!
I think the 3 team format made things much more interesting. I definitely like more than two teams being competing against each other, especially when all three participated at the same time (Bottleneck Stampede; Riot Act). The way the teams were formulated was also a pleasant switchup because the teams were not only fair, but also because there was control over who went where. This format also allowed Rookies to perform well (Camila; Emily) because not only did they win some eliminations, sometimes they didn't have to go in because their team won. Had there been two teams with somebody going in every time, they probably would've been eliminated early. Alliances on every team had to be tested because instead of one of two teams winning over and over again, there were wins from every team at times where the losing teams had to make tough decisions: (Katie vs. her team, Johnny/Derrick being the only guys and deciding who would go first, Paula vs. her "friends", Laurel putting her pride aside and helping the gray team). And this format made almost everybody have to go into a Gulag. There's four people on the challenge to not see a Gulag: Brad, Jenn, Sarah and Abram. Brad because he talked his way out of everything and has a wife and Veteran status, Jenn because the team wanted Emilee and Katie gone first, then Theresa and Emily kept volunteering, and Sarah and Abram because they won five of the nine missions and every time they did go in, the people either volunteered or were put in for a reason. I definitely say the three-team format was a serious step-up and played a key role in why this challenge was so good. If they were to continue the challenges with only a three-team format and the individual format (for the Duel 3), I wouldn't be upset. I'd just want a bigger cast.
Yes! I wanna see some guy on guy action dammit!
ROFL!!!!!!! Oh, and I'm not partial to the 3 team format. To me, it wasn't better or worse than others. It was just ok to me, but I agree that there should have been more people per team. 5 guys per team on a challenge with like 9 elimination rounds is ridiculous IMO. If Gray won every challenge, then All guys on one team could have been completely gone and there could have been no more male gulags from halfway in. That would have been sour. I always liked challenges with a lot of competitors. I mean, in retrospect, 30 people is great for a challenge, but 10 per team is too little to me. I didn't like that only Sarah and Kellyanne were the survivors of their team on the Ruins, and so I don''t like challenges where that is a possibility by eliminations.
This show has never really had guys that get it on a lot... we had Shane and Nick which was all very innocent, Ryan and Tyler and Ryan wasn't even interested in going past kissing, and Ryan and Davis, which I think they showed enough of. For this season I don't even think JD, Tyler, or Derek were even interested in each other.
Do some cast members get a higher wage just to be on the show then others such as you having won before and a vet getting more then Camila who was doing her first challenge?
Abram Boise - yes...they say that it is not true, but I know they have offered some cast members double what others get
Link
I thought this answer was very interesting. There was a rumour that Diem got paid extra to appear on the Ruins, which was shot down at the time by one of the insiders on this site, who said that never happens.

I like Laurel, but she was voted in. She didn't go in to help her team... she went in because she was voted in. I like a 3 team format, because I like when 1 team will be completely exempt from elimination. But as far as shaking things up, it didn't really do that.
Aw, come on, she didn't put her pride aside. I just think it's a little sad that for the past few missions, it was harder for the Gray team to lose than it was to win.

She was in position to throw both and when her ability started to be in question, she kicked it into gear and actually won it for her team.
Yeah but did she do it for her team or because she was afraid of being thrown in the Gulag since they realized she was throwing it...
In the second one, but she could have very well thrown the first without getting suspicions. That, to me, would have been the easiest mission to throw without being obvious.
Okay so Jemmye has been going off on Tori and how much she hates her for the past few weeks. This week was no exception. Been saying some really hilarious stuff IMO. So this time, Shauvon started defending Tori and her and Jemmye went back and forth. Shauvon said, wait until Jemmye sees her on a challenge. Then Ayiiia jumped in and took the Shauvon/Tori side saying, "why are you judging real world people when you don't even know them?" Can you imagine Jemmye on a challenge? And what do you think about the new real world people judging ones they haven't even met. I recall Emilee doing a bit of that a while ago. Speaking of Emilee, it seems her and Ayiiia are no longer friends. She tweeted about missing every RW Cancun member, but left her off the list.
What has Jemmye been saying about Tori?
Mostly that she's a *****, has no ***, and that she hopes she falls off a cliff and dies. You know, real classy stuff.
If there was ever a challenge about finishing a sentence without swearing, Jemmye would be the first one out.
If there was ever a challenge about finishing a sentence without swearing, Jemmye would be the first one out.
hahahah! Good one! Katie might giver her a run for her money!
lol @ Kenny and Wes doing a commercial.

That commercial aired when FM 2 did.
So lets' say that we are starting a RW/RR Hall Of Fame for cast members that have appeared in the Challenges. To find out who you think is the most deserving to be the first male/female in the HOF you need to nominate 3 male and 3 females. Your first pick will get 3 points, your second pick will get 2 points, and your last pick will get 1 point. After one week I'll add up the points to see who's the most deserving to be the first Male and Female in the Hall Of Fame. Males 1. Mark Long (RR: USA) 2. Eric Nies (RW: New York) 3. Theo (RR: Maximum Velocity Tour) Females 1. Coral (Back To New York) 2. Rachel (Campus Crawl) 3. Veronica (RR:Semester At Sea)
