Landon stated in his blog that they had to wait 20-25 minutes for Kenny and Laurel to finish.
Good to know, because the way they edited it made it seem like Kenny and Laurel were right on their tails. Do you know how long it took Jill and Pete to finish?

They weren't that far behind, but climbing a mountain is hard work. Plus, once Landon and Carley finished, Kenny and Laurel probably weren't busting *** any more.
They were in Brazil, so I can see how a soccer competition would be somewhat relevant. That's like when they were canoeing and climbing mountains in Canada. It's just part of the theme of the Challenge. Wes won fair and square, it's not his fault they rules were laid out that way.
I don't care if they were in Brazil, either way you look at it it was unfair to the person with the least amount of soccer skills, and that was Brad. Ok, not Wes' fault that those were the rules, well it wasn't Brad's fault that he accepted an invite to a challenge in a country that features a sport he doesn't excel in.
While some people make canoeing and mountain climbing their lives and dedicate a majority of their time to, those are things people still do for fun and excercise as hobbies. Soccer is something people commit their lives to and play in high school and college, and Wes had a background in the sport. I'd be willing to bet that the 8 finalists on FM2 had climbed a mountain and canoed before for fun, but most people that do that with soccer have had prior experience with it. I'm done argueing about this because all I have to do is look at your username and know you're never gonna quit, so I'm through.

Jen said she didn't think it was fair that they had to kayak for a head start. Laurel stated in her exile that she always carries around a canoe, leading me to believe that she kayaks a LOT more than Jill and Jenn.
Really though, you could make a case of "this isn't fair because someone so doesn't do ____" for every single activity that has occurred on this show.
How can anyone discredit Evelyn on Inferno 3. She was awesome, she screwed up 1 mission. Most people have multiple bad missions.
On the island, the guys were afraid of her. That right there gives her credibility. She didn't go into an inferno because no girl would call her out. She would beat them all. Having her on the finale of Inferno 3 is like having an extra guy. You know she will never quit, and have the endurance to finish. She was awesome. On gauntlet 3, her and Kenny took on 2 guys in screw you mission, and beat them.
Someone also listed that Evan was undeserving on Duel 2. Are you crazy? He kept getting called into the Duel because he was viewed as a "top dog" and there was a group of guys who hated him. He won every duel, plus manipulated the final duel by getting the guys to vote landon in. No way anyone beats landon in an endurance race in the finale. Evan knew that the only way they could beat him was in a duel, and he made that happen.
Plus, Brad had Rachel in the finale, with a big head start. Evan had Brittini. He made the comeback.
Even though they don't get along, I wish that Evelyn and Kenny would join up, because their brains and brawn would dominate, along with Kenny. Evelyn and Kenny have won 2 challenges together, and if Big Easy doesn't go down in Gauntlet 3, they would have 3 wins.

And just like I said, I'm not "grasping" at anything and the whether you admit it or not, Brad beat Wes' time, simple as that. The only grasping going on is you trying to defend Wes. Had there not been a headstart, he wouldn't have won, I don't know what you don't understand about that...it's very simple.

I agree but kayaking and mountain climbing are very common activities, much more than soccer is. I went to high school in Western Massachusetts and the town of Adams is known for Mt. Greylock, so almost everybody in the town had climbed the mountain. Can't say the same about soccer.
I know I said I was done but it aggriavtes me when the other poster constantly says I'm grasping for something I'm not. Look at the facts, look at the times, Brad deserved the win and Wes did not. There's no point in you to try and convince me otherwise cause my opinion will never change. Enjoy your ignorance.

Argue it all you want, it's not going to make a difference. Either way Wes is clearly a better competitor than Brad.
Be nice...
I try, I really do.
Hmm where to lead the thread now. How about any rematches people would like to see?
For me:
Abram vs. Brad (same and different game)
Abram vs. Timmy (different game)
Kina vs. Jillian (different game)
Kina vs. Svetlana (different game)
Jenn vs. Susie (different game)
Jenn vs. Diem (different game)
Beth vs. Aneesa (different game that doesn't go against Beth's morals)
Derrick vs. Wes, Brad, Timmy, and Syrus (all different games)
Aneesa vs. Robin (different game)
CT vs. Evan (different game)
Aneesa vs. Tori (different game)
Tonya vs. Diem (different game)
Cohutta vs. Wes (different game)
KellyAnne vs. Evelyn (different game)

That's the worst argument ever. Where I grew up, SO many people play soccer--there are tons of intramural teams, travel teams, and school teams. On the other hand, there were no mountains to climb, and as far as I knew, very few people went kayaking. You really can't use your own experience growing up in whatever area and extrapolate that to everyone in America (which is where almost all Challengers are from these days).
And believe me, I am no fan of Wes or JEK...just of common sense.
It may be editing, but one detail that I always found curious about the Duel finale is shortly after the puzzle portion, Brad catches up to Wes, and they're no less than a foot apart. Then the next time you see Wes he's got at least a 30 second to 40 second lead on Brad at the teeter totter portion. The only assumption I could derive from that is that Wes had it in him to improve and Brad puttered out somewhere in there. I mean it's something we'll never know but I still feel as though given an equal start, Wes would have had it in him to beat Brad.
Mostly I hate the soccer portion because I wouldn't have minded either Brad or Wes winning the final, it was an incredible run by both of them through the competition, but it taints Wes' victory in a way. Of course then we can go further back and argue that Brad shouldn't have even been in the final on a controversial disqualification from CT (who had the benefit of seeing someone DQ for the same reason and win the correct was as well prior). At what point do we realize things don't unravel the way they should on paper. Should they have just let CT and Evan compete in the final?
Just the way I see it, Wes came in outgunned athletically and politically and played a flawless game pulling off the upset.

You really think that Kayaking is more common than soccer, something tells me you shouldn't call other people ignorant.

IMO...
Abram > Brad
Abram > Timmy
Kina > Jillian
Kina > Svetlana (different game)
Jenn vs. Susie 50/50 (different game)
Jenn > Diem
Aneesa > Beth
Derrick vs. Wes 50/50 (different game), Derrick > Timmy (different game), Derrick
> Syrus, and Derrick vs. Brad 50/50
Aneesa > Robin
C.T. > Evan
Aneesa > Tori
Tonya > Diem
Wes > Cohutta (different game)
Evelyn > Kelly Anne
Now I'm not saying my winners would win in ANY game in a rematch but I think they would in most and 50/50 means... it just depends on what type of game they are playing. And if I put "different game" beside of my... opinions that means I don't think the person who lost the first one would win if they played the exact same game again or they could win in a different game besides the first game they originally played and if I put 50/50 and "different game" well that means it would be 50/50 in a different game.... durrr
Woops hadn't seen molds post.
Anyways, I was coming on to ask..what are Dream elimination match ups for you guys? Like mine would be.. Landon vs CT in Pole Wrestle for guys, Evelyn vs Jodi in Back Off Me
You know if BMP tried, after the Cutthroat experiment..they could do RW vs RR vs FM. As Derrick has stated RR is the hardest to cast but they could get:
Derrick, Mark, Darrel, Abe, and Dan Walsh..if Abe doesn't want it..they could try Shane even though they apparently don't care for him, Derek from Vewiers Revenge or even David Leech.
As for girls.. Susie, Katie, Jillian, Cara(with susie there it be easy to get her on board), they could also try Rachel (she said the other day she's retired but if they told her the concept maybe she'd go), Jodi, Kina or even Kendall who has said lately she'd do one.
So while the potential pool for Road Rules is very limited they could pull it off if they tried.

Jodi vs. Ev- Pole Wrestle and Beach Brawl
This should probably go in the "What's after..." thread but I think here it appropriate too.
If BMP ever knew that the challenge they were planning was definitely, 100% going to be the very last one...ever, they should really go out with a bang. First, call up all the recent castmembers that they usually would, but then go back and try to get some "legends". But they don't lay the challenge right on the table for an accept/deny. They simply ask "would you do one more challenge, considering it's the last one...ever?". Then, make a list of every male and one for every female that said they would. Then they should make a poll out of the lists and make it public and advertise the hell out of it. Viewers can vote for who on the list they want to see and the top vote-getters would be cast.
Hopefully a Duel type challenge with a cast of maybe 15 guys and 15 girls, or if enough agreed and they wanted to really go out strong, extend the challenge and have 20 guys and 20 guys.
I actually think if they could.. RW vs RR vs FM would be a fitting end to the Challenges.
Hopefully we can see that on challenge 40 :D
I actually think if they could.. RW vs RR vs FM would be a fitting end to the Challenges.
Since some of the alternatives such as another Battle of the Seasons (which I consider the first big challenge) or Gauntlet (the first challenge to feature elimination rounds, and subsequently hook me on the challenges) are highly unlikely to occur for varying reasons, I'd agree with you.
I think the Cut Throat format with set series teams would be a good challenge, although I do have the feeling Cut Throat might be a one off with so much of the challenge's details having an eastern European flair to them, most importantly the gulag (would they rename it if the challenge was being held the US, Mexico, or Caribbean?) Either way, a three team challenge with the teams divided by series would work regardless of name.
The only other challenge I'd want to see is a third Duel to finish that trilogy, although it would be pretty disappointing to end the series on that format. It's a great format, but the last episode would showcase a single individual winning, as opposed to team representing something (a season, a series, rookie/vet status, good/bad guy status)
It'd be nice to know what plans BMP has for challenge 21. A part of me hopes they'll pull out all the stops to renew the series, but in general I have the feeling they'll treat it like any other challenge.
I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous, but for the last challenge, they should allow any cast member who wants to be on the challenge to be on it. I mean they could always do some massive initial eliminations. Like if 100 people wanted to be on it, they could just divide everyone up into teams of 10 and be like only the top 5 teams advance to the next round, while the others get automatically eliminated or something. I don't even know if there's 100 people out there that would want to do a challenge, but I'm hoping that for the series finale, some people like Coral and Mike, and even people like Chadwick and Holly, would come back.

They would probably win, like they always use to in the past.

Chadwick and Holly hated how they where potrayed on Battle of the Season hence why they haven't returned. Coral has been invited back numerous times but hasn't returned, but I wouldnt officially count her out. As for Mike, if believe BMP would have him back in a heartbeat considering his stature in WWE but Mike like many other Challengers has really moved on and there is no reason for him to return, he probably makes more in a month with WWE than he could if he wont the entire Challenge by himself, and he is on TV every week.
I wouldn't want a Duel format for an ultimate final challenge. The Duel is boring... school yard pick, than the last picked picks whoever they want yada yada yada... it just bored me. I like teams. I like when someone is thrown in and they hate it. I like when they have fire in their stomach and animosity towards their team. In an individual challenge you have no one to blame but yourself.
