No, YOU missed the point. If Laurel messed up, she probably would have taken Sarah down with her, rather than Sarah helping Laurel stay on--given their size difference, any movement that Laurel makes is more likely to move the two of them than any movement Sarah would have made. And even if we're not comparing staying on the board, but swimming time, Laurel still beat everyone else who also stayed on the board and got to the end.
I think if Sarah wasn't on that team, she wouldn't have had the time she did.
The only individual challenge they had she DQ'd. That is MY point.
I understand she swam well. Good for her. The point that I am trying to make is that if everyone was on the board until the end, Laurel wouldn't have been that impressive.
Eveyone else used the board to the end as well, and she still beat their time! Why? Because she out-performed them. She did better than freaking Abram! It's like you can even calculate the board out of the equation, because mostly everyone was on it till the end.

Why? The time that they received was technically Laurel's time, not Sarah's. Do you mean if she had a different partner? Also, great athlete's and competitors can't ever DQ or have a bad day?

No. Laurel and Sarah did better than Luke and Abram. That is what I am trying to say. It was a TEAM challenge. Why are people debating that?
And I'm pretty sure a close majority of the people fell off the board.

Because she would have fallen off the board, or because she wouldn't have been motivated to swim as fast? Are you talking about the Bed Head challenge where she fell?

If she had a different partner how do you know they would have finished prior to everyone's time??
They can have a bad day. The first time she had a chance to show people her skill on an individual basis she did not. Maybe I will change my mind, but for now I am not going to.
Because she would have fallen off the board, or because she wouldn't have been motivated to swim as fast? Are you talking about the Bed Head challenge where she fell?
Yes that was the only individual challenge she was ever in. She didn't have anyone to help her.

Laurel swimming time was important to beat everyone else. Basically the 2 minutes and 34 seconds was how long it took her to do that challenge, because time doesn't stop until both touch the bell. Sarah probably would have had a 2 minute run, and it only took Laurel 34 seconds to catch up. Meaning Laurel out-performed both Abram & Luke (who basically was neck-to-neck). Laurel was swimming faster than probably ALL the guys. It was a team thing, but at the same time, it took an individual effort. An example, Brandon couldn't finish, so he cause the team a DQ. You needed to show up individually to do good for your team.

I never said that I would know, because I don't know. I just asked you to clarify what you said.
Also, what challenge are you talking about that she had the chance to prove herself individually? Bedhead? That was just as much as a team challenge as Surfs Up. Yes, she DQ'd but jumping to a board is not anyway related to someone's athletically ability. Eric did well on the Bedhead challenge, are we saying he is a great athlete? I don't think so.

Yes I am talking about bedhead, where she fell.
She has not done anything to impress me on an individual basis.
She just ins't that great. No more point in arguing.
There really isn't, because it's obvious you won't change you're mind, even if you're wrong smh lol.
No one's right or wrong in this argument. It's an opinion based argument.
There is a fact that she has never proven her self on an individual basis.
If she had a different partner how do you know they would have finished prior to everyone's time??
I can definitely see your logic. Competing against or with someone better will light a fire under your *** because you will be more pressured to do well and catch up. The opposite is true as well.
Yes that was the only individual challenge she was ever in. She didn't have anyone to help her.
She had to jump on her own, but that most definitely wasn't an individual challenge. Almost every girl would have fallen if they didn't have people on the other side to help them hang on and pull them up. She didn't have anyone, so comparing her performance on that mission to all the other girls' performance isn't valid.

Who cares about the other girls.
I am talking about Laurel.
She has yet to prove her self as an individual.
Why can not one person see that?
I know you're not talking about other girls, but you can't say she sucks because she failed at something when it's quite possible that EVERYONE else would have failed too, under her circumstances. It's not that I think she has proven herself beyond all doubt, but I don't think you're giving her enough credit. She's not the superhuman cyborg she was made out to be on FM2, but she is certainly one **** of a competitor and did really well in the last challenge. It seems like you just want to say it was a fluke, but their performance depended on her abilities as well, not just Sarah's.
I just don't see her as a good individual.
Maybe she will change my mind, maybe she wont.
See, it is your opinion. YOU don't see her as a good competitor and YOU are waiting for her to change YOUR mind.
It's fine to have that opinion but it's kind of ridiculous to expect people to have the same opinion as you by calling it a "fact". People have different guidelines for when they judge someone as proven or if someone is "good", yours just happen to be different than others here on the forum.

I agree on the point that she has really yet to really prove herself as an individual, but that swim was pretty impressive because her and Sarah beat everyone and that's with Laurel bringing up the rear. I don't like Laurel like the next person, but I think she performed well in that last challenge, but not really proved anything in the physical aspect of things, in my opinion. This is why I would really like to see her in a one-on-one elimination.
