Well let's just hope the next challenge is Duel 3 and we get to see both of them perform. I just remember Laurel man-handle Emily on the last challenge before the final.
Laurel posted a video she made on her Facebook. It shows all the bruises both her and Emily had along with some clips of Derrick and Dunbar. Apparently he flew home with them.

Did anyone find it shocking at Laurel's behavior during the reunion? I couldn't stand her this season. She was calling out abram like he's some kind of scrub. It's like dude, he's a legend and won you 100,000 dollars. Have some respect. You haven't even won yet

Abram didn't win her $100,000. He had a hand in the team banking the money, but he didn't "win her" the money. She worked her *** off to contribute and help her team bank that money. Abram, at the end, wasn't even there with his team and they survived without him.
I also think she would be the one woman on these shows that could take Evelyn down. Endurance, focus, strength and smarts combined, I'd say Laurel has the advantage.

I don't understand why everyone is jumping on Johnny's bandwagon. It was team efforts. The was only one where Abe had a bigger part than her in winning the mission and that's the basketball mission, and still it was a team effort. Furthermore, as much of a "legend" Abe is, ANYONE, especially Johnny would be upset if the person they thought they could trust to be the leader and go through got sick and couldn't finish. Now I don't blame Abe for getting sick nor Sarah, but I can see where she came from. I think Gray could have still have a fighting chance if Abe and Sarah left as soon as they got sick. I also think Laurel broke down because the 2 best players on the team as everyone thought, went down. That's a tough pill to swallow.

Not sure about this, but I do think it'd be a great fight to see. I think they both respect each other as competitors, them both having similar attitudes and strength. It'd be epic for sure. But I won't out my head on a block saying definitely Laurel would win.

Because Emily wasn't prepared to go against Laurel. She was quite surprised when Laurel pushed her off the stage cuz they had the deal to help Blue win that challenge.
At this point, Laurel will not have Derrick or Wes type seasons where she has to prove herself on individual challenges, over and over again. She has her alliances set. She has shown she can get to the end.
I think that Emily and ev would do the best to go against her.
But she is 6'3" and probably 170lbs. Who would go against that when there are plenty of less formidable opponents. The point of these shows is surviving.
I see Ev wanting to go against her because she is as cocky. Ev set her self apart on her conditioning, though she did terrible on freshmeat. Only on the island did Ev had to win on a challenge (joanna).
No one would want to go against Laurel for 2 reasons, physically she occupies 0.1% of the women out there and is not dumb. She does well the mental challenges, maybe not the best, but...

How tall is Laurel? Has it been officially said? I've always figured her to be 6'0/6'1 but haven't found an answer.
She's not 6'3, she is shorter than Kenny who is about 6'1.

Trying to gauge someone height from a photo is difficult because how distance, perspective and focal length distort things.

MTV also said that she was a Division 1 athlete, which is not true. I wouldn't be surprised if they were embellishing her height.
Either way, she is shorter than Kenny, who is 6'1.
At the the FM2 reunion show, they had both Laurel and Kenny stand next to each other and Laurel said she was either 5'10" or 5'11". Definitely not 6'3".
Here's a picture of me standing next to her. I'm 5'2". I can't remember for sure if she was wearing heels or not though.

someone posted on her facebook wall asking, and she answered: Laurel Stucky is 5 foot 11 inches.
I think she is too, until she starts to drink and her "ugly persona" comes out...it's eerily reflected in her face, and the effect is very unattractive.

for Big Easy she def would be - the Paula situation bugs me because I love both Paula and Laurel but Paula was being horrible to Cara Maria and when Laurel bit back (low blows but still gave her a taste of her own medicine) she immediately couldn't handle it and played the Victim - they all were in the wrong in that situation. Tyler was obnoxious too - supporting the bullying of CM but taking a stance against bullying when it isn't toward the person everyone was gaining up on. Ugh I'm not excited to see Tyler on all stars lol

Viewers of the show loved it and loved Laurel for it because they felt bad for Cara and to them this was Laurel bullying the bullies. Even today in comments they show Laurel so much love for that scene.
What goes unnoticed is it's not like she was ONLY going at Paula. She got at Wes too, but the difference is Wes was drunk and doesn't gaf.
Another thing, she had a bottle of soda and was chasing Wes around the piano, so was she trying to get back at Wes for Cara by pouring soda all over him too? lmao. That's a ride-or-die friend.
Yeah I was sad to see their friendship fizzle after that season because I loved Laurel sticking up for her. But I'm saying that Laurel, for the sadly short time she was on it, showed us that P&CM couldn't hold a candle to her in a battle of words. Still sad that dang weird branch sent her home
