Just having a rough week of it with Ellsbury going down for half the week, Roberts already sidelined possibly going to the DL, and now my pitchers are starting to collapse. I'm hoping things will work themselves out and take solace in the fact that this is only the 2nd week of the season with lots of time to make it up.

I had Rollins out today so I can empathize, and I have yet to have a pitching start so I have no idea how that is going to go.

Ok, that previous post was the strong me. Now that it is just about official that he is really hurt, I almost want to cry - and I don't even like the Phillies!
(Personal side note: Pete Rose pushed me out of the way when I was 6 years old trying to get his autograph after an extra innings spring training game and my parents never forgave him, or the Phillies. The hate is deep and I still remember.)

I'm losing 2 starters to the DL, have 3 underperforming SPs, and my RPs are the current stars of my team. ... It's been rough. At least it is only the 2nd week and not 2nd to last week.

Ya, you have been getting nailed left and right and even "stud" pitchers like Lester have been tanking. I thought Ellsbury would be back yesterday and now it looks like he is going to be gone for a couple weeks...

I've got guys to slot for Roberts & Ellsbury so I should be good to go for next week. I've made some obvious adjustments on the waiver wire too. I'm hoping things balance out. Nothing personally against my current opponent, Vevmo, but I should be, if my guys are playing decent, deliver a stomping to you.

A lot of it is luck, but I think that even taking hits here and there I should put up big numbers on a weekly basis. I don't feel I'm hitting my stride yet (and losing Rollins hurt as he is money.)
That being said, the real issue is the random week when it just happens your opponent has their two best pitchers, slotted for two starts against week teams. That usually ends up being a game changer - which is why everyone loses eventually.
Generally with this type of format, even the team with the best record in the regular season will have 4 or 5 blemishes.
I need Beckett to put up a good performance tonight. Not because of Fantasy Baseball, but because of my pride.
The Red Sox need to turn things around in this homestand!

I think he is hitting a little above his weight, but hey - put him in coach! Francona needs to stop being loyal and start putting in hitters when they are hot. Tek clearly deserves to be in the lineup until he cools off.

Beckett had a great start. Not sure I can count on the Sox to get him a run in the second half of the inning, but I think it is a great sign for the Sox that he pitched like an ace.
Anytime a team can get 7 IP from a starter anymore they're doing pretty well.

It is weird, I am seeing two sets of scores right now. One on the main page and one for the game tracker. One of them is wrong.
