Don't worry about it. I got Huston "we have a problem" Street as well as Vernon Wells.
Mauer went where he should have.
The AL MVP is a first rounder. Especially with the scarcity at the position. He'd have been a good 9th or 10th. I mean, he is only batting .438 this spring with a near .500 OBP.
Don't know how good of a draft I made, but excited to set my line-up. Glad I picked up A-Rod and Manny.
I got the only Yankee I wanted in Rivera but I got a lot of people I was hoping for. I had a list of 42 players and got most of the upper half of that list.

The reason the Red Sox won the 2004 World Series.

If any of you have iPhones, CBSsports.com has an app that lets you manage your team. Here's a screen shot.
I'm still giggling. Sorry.
Who's Boom Bazooka Joe? That's awesome.
****it molds, you are reading this thread. Now you are biased, lol. (but I still want to hear your thoughts.)
Dammit molds, you are reading this thread. Now you are biased, lol. (but I still want to hear your thoughts.)
Only based on team names, and I already know which one is yours :D
Who's Boom Bazooka Joe? That's awesome.
Thats me!
Thats me!
I took your ace, no? Here is the roster matrix for those that are not in on the Vevmo League. Feel free to prognosticate which is the best team by names alone. Of course, names are only 1/3 of fantasy baseball. The rest is heart and streaks. Tater, you have McCann and Vmart. How did that happen? (C- 2nd 3rd.) I think you have the best trade bait situation in the league. Looking at the catchers out there, you have gems.
Haha, it happened because I thought I was drafting Vmart as catcher and not 1B but it automatically placed him in the 1B slot. I wanted Youk originally for 1B so then I needed another catcher and got lucky when McCann was still available once it came around to me again! Beginners luck I guess? ;)
I took your ace, no?
yeah i was going to try to grab feldman but you took him before i could. You also got Mauer right before i was going to take him, you had the pick right before me.
I always find it interesting to see want positions people filled with their reserves

"ooh... 'so and so' is still available", you'd snatch him up. Haha
Ain't that the way it always is ... If I picked later I would have gone for Utley, the Jimmy Rollins or the best pitcher available ...
Mauer went where he should have.
This is from the CBS Sportsline draft averages. The lowest Mauer went was 14 (our draft.) Just saying. :D
Dplayer, don't forget to set your roster. Right now you have an illegal lineup and need to drop one player. I'm ready for week one. Obviously the first week is all about two start pitchers and favors those who drafted aces high. That advantage diminishes after week two when rotations start to skew and are not lined up like ducks in a row. Lot of talent on the waiver wire, so I'm sure there will be scrambling next week before the roster deadline to grab those players who are hot out of the gate.
Is there a DL option?
Is there a DL option?
No, but you can hold five players in reserve. ;)
I've just checked the stats. I officially, as of this moment, lead all other teams in total scoring.

I'm checking stats from my mobile app. So far, it's a fail. I'll have to look at the actual site.

My team would be having an OUTSTANDING day if it weren't for Big Z. My loyalty to the Cubs is going to be the death of me.
Chris Carpenter killed me today ... but it is only the real 1st day of the season
So far my team has performed very well, will see though if King Felix can do better.
We are hitting the weekend and things, as expected are tightening up. It really comes down to every day players to keep production up during the week after you've spent your pitching studs. With 5 series going, the leader from each series as of right now scores: 191(PS 3), 190 (PS 3) , 196 (PS 1), 200.5 (PS 3), 200 (PS 2). Looks like it is going to be a long and fun season. :D
