If something doesn't change drastically I don't see the challenge contract being renewed when the time is up.
I think the challenges will be canceled before the contract is up.
I think the challenges will be canceled before the contract is up.
this sucks!I just don't see Fresh Meat 2 bringing in big ratings either.
A lot of people won't watch because of the format. The cast doesn't help much either.
I already know I am not watching freash meat 2. Some of my fav are going to be on that challenge and I still can't bring myself to watch. I don't even know if I am going to be able to finish The Ruins. This always happens for me I start to get bored by the middle of the season and I don't know why. I think it's the way they narriate the show instead of having diffrent cast members it,s always the same two or three, and it gets boring.
Why was episode 2 more popular than the others? Was it because of Evelyn ? I think that most people watch this show online. You know what would make the show popular? Vampires!Kids dig them nowadays just because of twilight.
Veronica isn't a vampire?
i think everything will be fine the challenges are very popular lets be honest mtv doesnt do the best job marketing them at all and i wonder how many more viewers it would have if you couldnt watch it on the internet
Is it bad that I want this show to fail? I like seeing the declining numbers. I used to love these shows but the producers and editors are ruining it with the constant overkill of JEK. Them winning every challenge doesnt help. It's going to be funny if they wind up killing this show, but I think it's time has come.
I used to look forward to every wednesday when the challenges would appear, but now i dont care as much but still watch. All good things must come to an end.
i believe that as long as Real World exists and the Challenges are among the Top 5 MTV shows, there would be a Challenges to enjoy.. i may be on the minority, but im really enjoying The Ruins and its curve balls.. (Evelynn quitting, Cohutta beating Wes, Veronica Outsmarting her team, etc).. =)
Challenges are probibaly one of MTVs most expensive shows, if ratings are going lower and lower then why would MTV keep it?

Has anybody been experiencing Daylight Savings Time? I still can't tell whether this means if it began or it ended but DTS is now in effect in Puerto Rico. I.E., all programs are shown an hour later although still shown to be the same hour according to the channels. This doesn't mean that The Ruins will lose my attention and therefore any ratings it could've still got from my viewage, just that now i'll be watching the show at 11 PM instead of 10 PM. Just wondering if anyone or everyone has had the same situation happen is all.

MTV Executives must be reading Vevmo and taking our advice, as there is a much more robust repeat schedule this week including a marathon on Sunday. :wink2:

It's been so annoying to try to catch a repeat, & they haven't been too up to date with putting them on IO either!
I just checked my tv schedule as well and see over 6 repeats of this episode within the next four days! Finally, if only they would have started this sooner.
I live in PR too, I freakin hate DST. Anyone know how many episodes are left??
There should be four episodes left, including the reunion as the 4th remaining show.
My guess is maybe 1.2 million, if that.
One can only imagine the numbers for FM2
My guess is maybe 1.2 million, if that.
Don't give it that much credit. :blum3:
Episode 6 Ratings: Real World / Road Rules: The Ruins - 1.500 million viewers - 1.0/2 HH - 0.9/2 A18-49
That is a respectable take. It looks like last week might have been the bottom and their strategy of not running repeats drove the numbers up.
Hm, they are running more repeats in these upcoming days...
Didn't you read my post yesterday? ;) They are even running a marathon on Sunday.

Been watching the marathon all day. Glad they did it!
