Gahhhh I love Veronica so much. She has always been my favorite castmember of all time <3 My hatred for Susie grows each episode. And this is someone that I LOVED on G2...then began to dislike on RR VR, and then hated by the end of I3. Now I can't stand to see her face or hear that whiny voice on TV...she's so cocky and she made such a big deal about never losing an elimination before and being "undefeated," yet the only time in challenge history that she ever went into a face-off was on Inferno 3 ONE time. So I don't know what the big deal was for her... If anything someone like Wes has the right to be that cocky after winning like what 8 eliminations? And he never lost until tonight.
You love Veronica but hate Susie? Riiiiight.
You love Veronica but hate Susie? Riiiiight.
I know right?! When I read that I was like ok that's interesting lol.
F'loved this episode! The smirk on Veronica's face when she realized she had the votes in her favor made me laugh my butt off! It was perfect! And I didn't have one ounce of sympathy for Ibis. She sits there and talks her big game about how she got screwed over so her team better watch out but yet she was perfectly fine with throwing Veronica under the bus to save her weak butt. And then at the end she tells her team to play nice when clearly that wasn't her intention if she would have won? Whatever. I'll be glad not to see her or her stupid flower anymore. As for Cohutta vs Wes I'll admit I was rooting for Cohutta. I think he's adorable! His accent is cute and he's in such great shape! He seems like the perfect gentleman. But after Wes lost I couldn't help but feel bad for him. He was an arrogant jerk in the beginning of the episode but I really do think he's a sensitive guy with a good heart who just doesn't always comes across the right way. And I think he's really hot to. Anyways, can't stand Johanna, absolutely detest Susie and as for Kenny and Evan whatever. I'm so over them both. Oh, and I loved the unity of old school veterans with Syrus and Darrell not voting in Veronica perhaps due to the fact that they've all done many challenges together. And honestly, I kind of liked Johnny in this episode just for the fact that he screwed up the "master plan." :\

She throws a fit whenever she is up for elimination and wesels her way out of eliminations all the time. She is trying to be proctected by Evan to make it through the game, but her time is running out.
Kudos to Veronica. Having hooked up with Evan certainly payed off. They had 6 votes: 1) Veronica= Veronica vs Kim 2) Ibis= Veronica vs KA 3) Wes= Veronica vs Kim (obviously he was going to try to save his GF from having to go into the ruins) 4) Johanna= Veronica vs KA 5) Kenny= Veronica vs KA 6) Evan= Veronica vs Kim If Evan had been thinking with the correct head he would've voted V vs KA and the tie would've been avoided. I can't believe that even Kenny was able to do something as simple as following "the plan" and Evan couldn't. Once the whole team is called in, I don't think that Syrus and Darrel's vote were a coincidence. They never were a part of the alliance and they've known Veronica for years. What's funny is that I'm sure that Derrick voted for Ibis simply because Syrus did too lol. That was the vote that in this second round caused Ibis to go in because Derrick is actually part of the alliance. Johnny well.... he's just... Johnny. Hard to tell why he voted for Ibis other than the fact that he's Johnny... lol.

Her accomplishments speak for themselves, and she didn't always get her team to throw missions to keep her out of eliminations. She has won lifesavers on her own. She's an above average physical competitor(slightly), and her social game is way above average. I don't see anyone here claiming that she is the best, but she certainly isn't bad. I just don't get why most people consider someone a bad competitor because they aren't as physically capable as someone else. I thought the purpose of these challenges was to get to the end any way possible. Veronica has exhibited that she can do this four times. I didn't realize that because you don't like how someone plays the game, that makes them a bad competitor.
I really liked last night's episode. I understand that Wes has been a little over the top since coming on this show, but I kinda understand where he was coming from. It sucks to have everyone against you, to be the outcast just because you showed up. He went into the Ruins fairly cocky, and he left a little more humbled. I love what he said to them in the end, and I hope to see him again. I am very proud of Cohutta, he did deserve to win. He seems like such a genuine down to earth person. I am very confused by Johanna, I think she is doing one thing and telling the others the exact opposite. It is painfully obvious that there is still some love left between her and Wes. I don't know what it is but Susie is driving me so nuts this challenge!

Yes, he went into the ruins very cocky but once he lost he acted in such a humble way that almost makes you forget how cocky he was prior to that. Did you notice when Cohutta is walking by after he won and Wes called him and gave him the biggest hug? And then, to says good things to a team who weren't exactly fair to him? Wes seems to be like a really nice guy, a bit cocky, but nice.
I am very confused by Johanna, I think she is doing one thing and telling the others the exact opposite. It is painfully obvious that there is still some love left between her and Wes.
I'm very confused by Johanna too. She kept saying how it was hard for her to be sad that Wes was leaving because he had been so bad for the team. I don't get that though, after the first mission Wes was nothing but a team player. Wes must've been hurt when he saw her saying this in her confessional. After all it's just a game. Why would you jeopardize a friendship over a challenge? And a friendship with someone you dated for 3 years? Regardless of how cocky he can be, I think Johanna was into this challenge more than Wes was himself. I agree that there probably is still love between those 2. Johanna is probably acting like that as a defense mechanism because she probably feels that if she didn't act like this they might reconcile which might be something she's apprehensive about.
As Veronica once said "The game played me and now I am playing the game". It was insane to see how she got out of the Ruins. You have to admit, she out smarted people. They went in with a solid plan and she broke it up. It's a game and she was playing it, just like everyone else. I also do not think she is the weakest of the girls on an 1 on 1 competition. I think Johanna should have went in. People say Veronica stayed by "sleeping" with Evan, but how do you think Johanna stayed? by her steller athletic abilites? no, it was because she fooled around with Kenny. Veronica is a good competitor mentally and physically. When her butt was on the line she won the lifeshield and saved herself (on the gauntlet and inferno). She beat the guys and the girls time. She is a good competitor. She does play the game shady, but so do most of the champions. Some people like Veronica, other dislike her. I personally like how she knows how to play the game. I do not like certain things she has done, but I still like her as a competitor. She got johnny and Derrick to vote her way. Susie is just as sneaky as everyone else. They try to portray her as the nice. sweet, innocent girl, But she isn't. She might be strong, but she is just as guilty as being sneaky and hypocritical as everyone else.

I think Wes had bad luck considering the event of this Ruins which was kind of made for Cohutta. In any of the 3 previous Ruins events he would've smashed Cohutta's head and ate it:P Anyway, anyone seen the sneak peek for the next episode? Derrick will finally get some air time:D
I liked that Wes called Cohutta over for a hug. I was never the biggest fan of Wes before but now I like him a lot. I never thought that I would say this but I actually don't mind Veronica. I actually liked her schemes this week.
It only benefits the champions team that Ibis left. The only thing she brought to this challenge was a great view. Looked hot as hell

I mean, I know he is just joking and he thinks it is all in good fun but if he threw powder in my face like he did Tonya numerous times and did to me what he done to Derrick I would probably react just like Derrick did. I mean, enough is enough. It almost reminds me of a little dog that wants to hump your leg to death and you almost have to kick it off to make it stop, it's just really really annoying.

I remember her being kind of chunky but she was hot as hell on this challenge. If I were on these challenges I'd never be voting girls off based on performance. It'd be along the lines of what Evan said last night; you got big **** and a big ***, you can stick around for awhile.
...that must be why Casey is there!
This has to be one of the most rigged ruins ever. As Wes said, they've now had 5 ruins with no combat yet? You'd think that this last episode would have been a combat ruins, but MTV probably wanted the little guy to win, so they threw up a jungle gym ruins so cohutta had a good chance of winning. Wes was absolutely correct, if he knew that was the ruin, there was no man of the entire cast that he would select cohutta ahead of. This Ruins was built completely for the little guy and he won. To me, it just smacked of MTV rigging it for storyline. If this had been anything physical whatsoever, Cohutta would have been crushed. It's too bad too, because it would have been nice to see Wes win another one and potentially gather some more support in house. As TJ Lavin said, now some of the other guys will have to step into the ruins. The other thing I do not get is despite differences why guys like Cyrus and Darrell continue to hide behind Wes instead of use him. If they had allied themselves with Wes, they could have possibly avoided the chopping block that they are now obviously on with JEK/D having a 4-2 majority on them.

At least it wasn't reverse tug of war, a.k.a who weighs the most. Why would MTV want to get rid of Wes so early? Isn't he bringing in the ratings, apparently? Nothing about your theory adds up. Cohutta won fair in square. Why should Wes win for the umpteenth time in a row? There's a first time for everything. Mike on BOTS2, Coral on FM, for example. It happens eventually...

I think this ruins measured speed and coordination. A key aspect of this ruin was making sure that the rope didn't get tangled up and this required a lot of coordination. I really like Wes a lot but I don't think that Cohutta beat him because he was the smaller guy; he beat him because he was faster and had better coordination. You could see that Wes was getting frustrated and that certainly didn't help. I think the producers probably chose this ruins because they knew that if was anything that measured physical strenght Cohutta probably stood no chance, but I don't think that it was being smaller what helped Cohutta. He was simply faster and had better coordination.

In my opinion they were trying to make it fair and trying to make sure Cohutta had at least a chance which otherwise he wouldn't have had.
I liked more challenges like the duel in which you can pick your fate.I wonder how production determines which challenge is going to be played in elimination that day?
I liked more challenges like the duel in which you can pick your fate.I wonder how production determines which challenge is going to be played in elimination that day?
I'm sure that the players picked to go into the ruins is something the producers consider when determining what ruins is going to be played and there is nothing illegal about that. They're doing a show and they're allowed to determine which abilities they want to see displayed depending on who are the players going in. For example, the Ev vs KA ruins. We all know that Ev is considered by many to be the strongest girl, and KA is considered the strongest girl in the Challengers team. I'm sure the producers purposely chose a ruin that measure physical strenght. They obviously couldn't pass on that opportunity. For them to have the 2 strongest girls going in and not have them go 1 on 1 on something that displayed their physical strength would've been just plain dumb. Then I believe the opposite hapenned for the Wes vs. Cohutta ruins. The challengers are down to 3 guys at this point. If they had chosen something that measured physical strenght it was obvious that Wes had a huge advantage. I'm sure they chose this ruins instead because it gave Cohutta at least a chance. If he was faster and had better coordination than Wes he could've won and that's exactly what hapenned.
I miss Katie:(
I am starting to realise why people hate JEK so much.I really disliked them on episode 5 after Wes lost.Specially Kenny he is just annoying as hell.I don't care about Johnny since he just seems to tag alone. At least he is more vocal of his actions unlike Kenny.I do think that Evan is a good competitor. He has proven himself in the duel 2.I would say that he is just playing his game trying to persuade everybody. He is more of the guy that wants to be cool with everyone. So far I have hated Derrick this whole season. He is used to be one of my favorites back in pre-inferno III days.I felt that he was expressing who he was and sharing his opinions.I had so much respect for him.Now I feel he has become dumb and a "sheep" following what the majority of his team says.

I would not blame him for kinda fading out to where he is not a main target. I am sure that his priorities have changed, now that he is a father and a husband. Winning that money means providing for his family.

I hate the fact that Wes and Cohutta went against each other.
Don't forget it's a game, Derrick is there to win money, and if that means staying with JEK, then that's what he's gotta do.
It's annoying how people feel they need to align with Kevan in order to win this game. Hello? All of the people worried about not making it to the end and having no alliance actually had they numbers to begin with and that's all that mattered. By continuing to give these bozo's power they are just ultimately screwing themselves in the end. To bad we didn't have more people like Katie who refused to play nice with them and told them to their faces how much she despised them. I respect her so much for that, even though it meant her time would be officially coming to an end.
