i really liked this episode. the champions girls were starting to get under my skin (mainly Susie and Johanna). their plan backfired on them perfectly. i'm glad that people on the team realized though that if they want to trim fat then Ibis was the person to go. As much as i don't like Veronica she has done better then Ibis.
also love when Ibis said something about the game isn't always about screwing people. yet it was her plan to screw Veronica and throw her in.
Wow, just saw the preview. Really, after what happened with Tonya, they should have just cut the pranks out. And bothering people while they are sleeping - well, he could have learned from the Susie/Colie/Cara situation on I3.
I also agree that Derrick overreacted, but I think he had every right to be upset and annoyed.
I don't know why Johnny is acting like he had nothing to do with it. Derrick obviously saw him right there. The only thing Johnny can argue is that he was not the only person involved in the prank.
I am surprised that Johnny's allies seem to be starting to turn against him, though. Odd.
The voting deliberation for the girls was intense!! It really reminded me of the Gauntlet 1 deliberations when Veronica was always so close to getting voted in to go to the gauntlet but Sarah would have 1 more vote over Veronica.
I hated this episode.Wes is never suppose to loss.I mean he always makes it to the end.He is like Superman. It feels strage to see Wes leave at the middle of the season.

Well this is what Wes gets for being a jerk to Cohutta. This proves he isn't superman...
Kenny and Johnny are *******es. It makes me angry that Wes went in 2 times prior and had to go in because Kenny wouldn't volunteer. I mean Kenny talks so much **** about Wes and in general. However, Kenny wouldn't last in a faceoff and always hides behind his alliance to get to victory. Evan is a jerk too, but he at least proved himself on the duel 2 as a good competitor. However, I don't like Evan still. That dosen't mean I don't think he's worth in regards to the challenges. Kenny is weak physically and mentally. Furthermore, Kenny's an assehole. I hope on one of the future challenges Wes puts Kenny in his place.
I'm still trying to understand why make a Veronica vs Kelly-Ann face off, instead of picking the weakest link out, Ibis or Johanna.
Veronica is not in their circle of friends/allies, therefore, she is expendable. The guys are friends with Susie and Johanna, and it seems they prefer Ibis to Veronica (Ibis has been chummy with Johnny), so they want to put Veronica in and risk losing her. And Johanna doesn't care for Kelly Anne, and if they get rid of Kelly Anne, it could make Wes mad, and Kelly Anne was strong in the mission, so if she is gone, the stronger girl on the Champions team is gone.
Do any of the cast members keep a blog of what happened during each episode? I know the Miz and Evelyn used to do this. I read Katie's and Tonya's blogs about last week's episode but I want to know if anybody keeps one for every episode.
I think at least a part of Johanna actually enjoys that Wes seems hung up on her, even with KA on this challenge. I think she feels important by Wes making some of his actions in the game based on their past relationship and his anger towards Kenny for hooking up with her.
Oh, and I miss Brad. He really is not shown much at all.
I also enjoyed the part Syrus was involved with in tonight's show. I credit him with spurring the vote towards Ibis and Kim.
I was really bothered me when Johanna said "I have told him to stop talking to me, I want nothing to do with the guy" about Wes. That was just REALLY mean.
Don't get me wrong, I am not a fan of Wes but if you dated someone for 3 years and you claim that you still you still care about them you shouldn't say that.
This episode was amazing!
I can't believe Veronica got out of the Ruins. I was sad to see Ibis go though. I also felt bad that Derrick voted for her. He should have voted for Johanna since he knew she had no chance of going in. I could tell she was really hurt by Derrick's vote. I wish they could vote like that all the time, not discuss it before hand, and just vote... that would mess up alliances. It was pretty cool to see Syrus get stumped by TJ's announcement.
I like the opening sequence.
I gotta say I enjoyed this episode the most. I was rooting for Cohutta the whole time and loved it when he won, especially against Wes. He might taken his girl but he took his money and winning streak.
Can't wait for next episode, the preview looked awesome. I love it when everyone blames everything on Johnny, he sucks anyways.
The ratings are going down and now Wes is gone... *sigh*. I wonder what effect this will have on the ratings. I guess it could go either way considering that Wes had actually stopped being an "antihero" and was pretty much being a "team player".
Kudos to the editors for finally not giving away from the beginning of the episode who were the girls going into the elimination round. I totally thought it was going to be Veronica vs. KA. Although I wanted it to be Veronica vs. KA and certainly did not want to see my hometown girl (Puerto Rico) Ibis go home I was actually pleased (in some sinister kinda way) with how things went down.
The way things went down on during that deliberation simply proves how some of those Champions are simply idiots. Like seriously, how do you go into a deliberation room having the numbers and not achieve the vote that you wanted and had instructed everyone to give you? And then, when the rest of the team comes in they start to randomly vote for Ibis? What a bunch of idiots really lol. And the whole excuse that Derrick gave to vote Ibis in because she wasn't performing as well as Veronica sounded like total BS to me. The guy is not smart at all so when he saw that Syrus voted that way he simply went with that. Derrick might be a good competitor but a leader he's not.
I'm really glad that they didn't get away with what they originally wanted. It just sucks that it was Ibis who had to go in and that Veronica benefited from their stupidity. Oh well.
I don't like Veronica, I really don't but what she was able to get away with was amazing. To go into a deliberation room outnumbered 4 to 2 and still get your way is simply amazing. I loved her evil smile when she realized that the final deciding vote was going to come down to her. Priceless haha.
I was surprised that they didn't really emphasize in Wes' loss a whole lot. It was like ok Wes you lost, bye bye. This just proves that anyone can be beaten in these eliminations. I wonder what Nick thought when he saw this. This ruins seemed like something he might have had a better chance at beating Wes. Same way, Cohutta would've lost probably almost as bad as Nick did if he had to face Wes in a ruins similar to the one that Nick and Wes played. Oh well, it is what it is. Although I like Wes, I'm glad for Cohutta, he's a nice guy.
Gahhhh I love Veronica so much. She has always been my favorite castmember of all time <3
My hatred for Susie grows each episode. And this is someone that I LOVED on G2...then began to dislike on RR VR, and then hated by the end of I3. Now I can't stand to see her face or hear that whiny voice on TV...she's so cocky and she made such a big deal about never losing an elimination before and being "undefeated," yet the only time in challenge history that she ever went into a face-off was on Inferno 3 ONE time. So I don't know what the big deal was for her... If anything someone like Wes has the right to be that cocky after winning like what 8 eliminations? And he never lost until tonight.
Veronica is no longer in the same in crowd she was. People are hating on Johanna and the champion guys but the fact is they forget that Veronica was much worse! She was constantly pulling the strings and screwing people over and being mean because she had her little crew around her helping her get through and stay out of the face offs. Now she feels how all the people she outcast and were mean to in past challenges feel. Karma.

Kelly Anne even told Wes to stop talking to her. Johanna just wanted him to not talk to her ON THE CHALLENGE because it was making everything difficult.
I can't believe Derrick voted for Ibis. Not that he's wrong, but I'm surprised.
And this just shows how easily some of these people are swayed when one person voices their opinion.
Especially Derrick who clearly isn't the smartest cookie. The whole thing to me was hillarious.

Funny how Jenn probably would've beat her if her (Jenn) clip thing didn't get stuck. I love Veronica too, her smirk when she made the final vote to send in Ibis was gold.
Especially Derrick who clearly isn't the smartest cookie. The whole thing to me was hillarious.
Yeah Derrick seems like a nice guy but so so dumb. He can easily be swayed just by the fact that Syrus spoke first. ha ha.
That was nice, what Wes said at the end. And unexpected.
I agree. He wasn't a sore loser. Considering how c0cky he is I was surprised that he didn't seem to take that loss so bad. If he did, I guess he made sure it didn't show. It was good to see that he handled it well.

This just makes me respect her game even more. She doesn't have her "little crew" there, but she's still in the game. I really never thought she would have lasted this long. If the older vets had calmed down (Katie, Tonya and later on Darrell) and actually thought the game out, they would have been running it and not the usual people.
I hope people stop overrating Wes as the best competitor now.
Lol, I actually still think he's one of the best and probably the best in that team. Do you think Cohutta would've beaten him in the ruins Nick and Wes played? People seem to forget that luck plays a role in these challenges too. I don't think that Cohutta could've beaten Wes in anything that measured pure physical strength.
