The godfather of these challenges is back!

Glad Derrick is back! He's one of the most awesome people on the challenge. I think he will be one of the toughest competitors alongside Evan and Wes.

Derrick and Ibis alliance?

Favorite castmember ever right here. Kina is my favorite female and since thw two are so close it's perfect haha. I love when D wins a mission or an elimination, so I hope he shows everybody the Gauntlet 2 Derrick if he goes into any eliminations. I'd like to see Derrick vs. Syrus rematch, Derrick vs. Brad rematch, Derrick vs. Wes rematch, I think a rematch with Derrick would be good no matter what. I also hope Derrick is more of the "king" of this challenge instead of giving into Johnny, Kenny, and Evan. If he does get involved with them, I at least hope he is the leader and not just following like he did on the Island because I think Derrick could beat any of them anyways and doesn't need to follow them.

I think Derrick will probably just fly under the radar on this one like he did on the Island. I don't think it's nessecarrily a good thing to be the "king/queen" of a challenge because I think it just puts a bigger target on your back.

From the Inferno 2 on I'd say everybody respects Derrick (everybody that matters at least) and he's cool with pretty much everybody. That's what a I meant by king, leader would probably fit just as well. Like on the Gauntlet 2 he was captain and everyday he pretty much had his teams weights on his shoulders and he fought every day for them, thats how I want Derrick to be haha.

I'm just saying that people usually would want to take out the top dog, so they can be the top dog. Though I do think Derrick could beat most of the guys on this challenge.

Derrick will always be a feared opponent. Nothing is ever going to change that. But he is a good game player. Just on a different level of JEK and Veronica. He doesn't start fights, he doesn't get on people's bad sides. He does what he has to do to win, and that is what everyone should do. He does it but manages to stay close with people and get along with everyone. Derrick is my favorite and I'll be happy if he wins, even if it is with a team of people I don't like so much.

I just hope Derrick kicks major *** this challenge and doesn't screw over too many people, especially if they're close to him like Tonya, Ibis, etc.

In a way, Mark giving Derrick his bandana back in the G2 reunion show now feels like he was giving it to his younger self because now i feel that Mark and Derrick are practically the same type of game players in that they don't start fights, they're both fierce competitors, and both manage to stay around without really forming any alliances. He wasn't really part of the Johnny/Kenny alliance in The Island, they just kept him around because they knew that he could build their winning boat way better than the other boat. He was "technically" part of that alliance, so to speak.

Since he's married I think would want to stay out of the drama and stuff, that's probably why he doesn't bring anything anymore.

On Road Rules I hated this guy, but after BOTS2 he became one of my favorite castmembers...I love his never die mentally...His a "Pitbull" alright lol

Derrick may not bring drama but he does bring the competion to the challenges...

Derrick doesn't have to bring drama to be fun to watch. He also started to look a little older on The Island but he seems to be looking like his younger self again. He always be extreme in competitions.

He was a beast in that competion with Ashli on the Island...

When is he not a beast? Seriously, going one on one against him is crazy. Other people too, Evan and Wes especially (on this challenge) but I think going against Derrick is more nerve racking.

BTW, just SAW on the dailies that Derrick said he's sons second middle name is Awesome. I think its so cute how proud Derrick is of his son.

Anyone know when Derrick's movie, "Hyenas" is supposed to be released?

Does anyone else think that Derrick looks like he's balding? It's like his hair is falling out and that makes him look old in the process.
