The Real World: D.C. (Spoilers)

[B]Front Row Ticket to the Sheaux: DRAMA[/B] I've got to say, I'm tickled by what I'm privy to on a daily basis. I can't go out tonight because I injured myself a few days ago (long story). But, I am receiving countless texts from my many minions (otherwise known as my friends) that there's a drama unfolding as I type this. Here's the story: Mike was supposed to go to Town Nightclub [url=http://www.towndc.com]Town Danceboutique[/url] tonight for the [url=http://www.omgwtfdc.com]OMG WTF DC![/url] event. Well it would appear that Mike told Robbie (boy #1) that he couldn't go to Town because of the Twitter coverage of the potential for the Real Worlders going to Town tonight. I call shenanigans on that. Because, you see, Mike is currently at Nellies (across the street from Town) with boy #2, Eric (who is a bartender at Nellies). Nellies has received just as much exposure on Twitter.... Well, Robbie, it turns out, is aware of the fact that Mike is at Nellies with Eric and is aware that there have been tweets about RWDC being at Nellies. So, this is where it gets really interesting. Robbie has just left Town to walk across the street to Nellies to confront Mike.... Again, Chelsea Handler would say [B]WHOOPSIE![/B]... So there's my tabloid journalism for this week. ;-)

I even bruised the palms of both hands. That's some awesomeness. As I said, if it hadn't been for that, I'd be out and about tonight. So I found out that something is going on with Emily's mother and she was a mess last night crying at the house. I have not found out exactly what it is but I figured I would put it in the hands of Vevmo users to figure it out. I hope she feels better. WE should all get her a card.

They shouldn't have come to Washington DC if they didn't want their cast communicating with people who communicate. In DC everybody has a blog, contributes to a blog, uses Twitter, uses Facebook, works for a media organization, knows somebody who works for a media organization; but ultimately everybody here talks, shares, chats.... And people here in DC (who are used to [B]actual matters of importance[/B]) of course are going to talk or post or disseminate information about this summer fling known as The Real World coming to DC. Duh! This will go down as the season that BMP did not do its homework. I do it with a group of friends every year. I'm glad that the cast will be participating. I think doing the condom give-out at night is a cheesy publicity stunt, but nonetheless community service is community service. Is it me, or does to seem that to others that there is an extraordinary amount of focus on things of the gay world: living in dupont circle, frequenting several gay bars, gay games, AIDS/HIV stuff, agencies...etc
