Your twitter is more exciting than Real World Cancun and it will probably be more exciting than DC. *****.

And MTV or BMP are more than welcome to make a financial or employment offer for this resource!

LOL. Your actually doing them a favor. More press for the show, more viewers.
MTV should have the cast do appearances (college visits, high school visits, talk shows, radio shows, mall appearances, etc.) around the country to promote the show as soon as production ends.

Wiggy promotes this show more than MTV will.
My facebook group is pushing 2,500, my Twitter followers are pushing 4,500 and in addition to that I have about thousands of unique page views a day on the Twitter site. Crazy. I didn't think at the outset of all this that it would be so popular.
But, I just got word that the Washington Post wants to do another article. Which will take my personal exposure to three print articles and three TV stories. And all I thought I was doing was providing a small service for the info hungry.
Again, MTV and BMP - feel free to hire me!
I'm sure they'd much rather muzzle you if they could. :wink2:
hehehe that would be futile - I'd just pass along my accounts to my minions.
On that note, however, I present exhibit B that BMP is paying attention:

Just curious - what job would you want to do for BMP/MTV? You're a great journalist, but I don't think they could tap into your talents? Of course, I think you're being facetious?
Well, Monday's Green & Glover column by the Washington Times is up, and there is neither a correction on the web version of Friday's column nor an apology in Monday's column. This is despite a promised retraction to ollignom.
Few things:
1. Did anyone call the Washington Times office? And if no, PLEASE do.
Green & Glover stole their information from Vevmo. Their column had information only posted and discovered by Vevmo users, such as my scoop on Callie's background. They even took some parts word-for-word.
wiggy, your thoughts on what to do? This is a national newspaper, not a simple blogger. They have no excuse for plagiarism, or at least an apology, or a proper sourcing.

Dude first off I DID NOT APPOLOGIZE. Read the forum. I appologized for her in relaying the info. This inncedent is between vevmo users (YOU/I vs. them) I have talked with her but she is saying it is tomorrow. It is out of my hands. I am a "simple blogger" as you put it. She is not. So leave me out of it. thank You

You are misunderstanding what I wrote and who I am yelling at. I am refering to:
She will correct it on Monday. She promises!!!
I am saying she promised you she would apologize Monday, and she has failed to do so.

Not to put you in the middle ollignom, but I am quite confused as to why it would take 4 days to add a citation. It is not like this is a particularly challenging task and should take a matter of seconds to complete by any motivated individual.
Sounds to me like she is blowing off the situation...
I've already moved up the chain and have passed my thoughts along to managing editor Jeffrey H. Birnbaum. I'll report back when I hear more.

Don't take this the wrong way, but seeing as though this isn't the first time this has happened with someone you associated with, let me leave you with a bit of advice from my dear 'ole dad: "If you lie with the dogs, you get fleas."

I agree. it only takes a second to do.
also otherpplsdrama. I also agree with your dad. My dad says the same. Point taken but its publicity...not that I want it lol
took a few days off from RWDC radar, but learned from a friend that Mike is now "dating" a guy I know who works as a bartender at a friend of mine's bar that has been the location of taping many nights last week.
Not much else interesting that I've got. Well, except for the fact one of my closest friends may be having a showmance of his own....
Today's Green & Glover column (bolding done by G&G, not me):
"Credit where due
G2 would like to thank "Real World DC" blogger Martin Mongillo and the Web site vevmo.com for the information about the "MTV: Real World: DC" cast that we included in our July 31st column."
Resolved? Sorta feels like they are writing as if they contacted Vevmo.
I thought they were going to give you some credit, wiggy.
No, I had no contact with them.... But I'll share the upcoming article that a Washington Post reporter wants to talk to me about when I've done that interview ;) that's enough "credit" for moi.
