[COLOR=red][B][SIZE=5]Erika Leaving Real World House: Fact or fiction?[/SIZE][/B] [/COLOR]
A bit of background.
Yesterday evening Adam Rosenberg and I were scheduled to be in a photoshoot for a magazine that's doing a Real World DC story. The shoot took place outside the Real World DC house shortly after 8. As the photographer was getting set up, Adam and I chatted, I may-or-may-not have been looking at myself in mirrors with last minute primping and during this time we noticed several things.
As we arrived at the house, Erika Lauren Wasilewski and her boyfriend Ian Ver, 23 from Ohio, ([URL="http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=503827439&v=info&viewas=1044122514&ref=search"]Ian Ver | Facebook[/URL] and [URL="http://www.myspace.com/ianbhas"]IAN (Ian Ver) | MySpace - myspace.com/ianbhas[/URL]) were walking in and out of the house. A minute or so after our arrival, Erika and Ian came out of the house (sans cameras). They returned a few minutes later. Right about then, a production assistant came outside to scope out what was going on with the photoshoot. The PA, in a trying too hard to be sneaky kind of obvious way, milled about and then ducked behind one of the RW vans while radioing the "situation" in. Moments later, more production folks came outside to [I]smoke and run errands[/I]... which included taping what we were doing. At one point the sidewalk and alley next to the house were swarming with production folks (some of whom didn't try to hide that they were monitoring the photoshoot). In our opinion this was a bit much attention for a photoshoot by a professional photographer on public property.
At one point, about ten minutes or so into the shoot, the front door opened and a sound guy with his boom mic and a camera guy came out. A few moments later, Ian and Erika emerged from the front door with luggage. (Mind you at this point it became a scene because people on the other side of the street were already taking pictures of us doing the photoshoot, and now with the camera crew on the sidewalk with us, the tourists got their money's worth). Anyhow, they got in a cab that had been hailed for them. The camera crew taped this of course and then the cab left.
I didn't really think anything of this. Except, that the attention we were getting from production seemed a bit much.
Knowing what I know now, I understand why. It would appear that our photoshoot happned to coincide with the rumored drama of the Labor Day holiday for the Real World Cast.
You see - Ollignom tweeted last night that through his sources he has it confirmed that Erika has left the show.

I won't go as far as to confirm this, but I spoke to my insiders who told me this:
Ian came to visit last week. Erika, who by all accounts thrives off drama, has been giving shenanigans inside the house for a while now and, according to my sources, this weekend she had a meltdown and "had enough."
So, from what I have been told, on Saturday she began talking about leaving with her boyfriend when he leaves. On Sunday she reportedly reiterated this. Well, what I witnessed last night was them leaving in a cab, however I believe she was probably just taking him to the airport. (I didn't see her bags - but then again, I wasn't paying a lot of attention to what they were doing at the time.)
Now details and the rumor mill become a bit sketchy: rumor has it she started packing her stuff last night. Some say she's left, some say she's leaving today, others have no comment on the issue. There's a rumor that a replacement female cast member has already been brought to DC and is currently staying in a hotel. This seems like one of the more 'out there' reports, but a source told me in passing that there is a Lindsay who is staying in a DC hotel who may be from New York who (according to a third party) is here for the Real World.
That's a lot of conjecture and I normally wouldn't even put it out there. But, given the interest in this issue - and the great storyline that this makes (especially given all the charges of how crazy Erika may-or-may-not be per the people who went to school with her), I figured I would throw out all of these rumors to you guys and will sort through this conjecture.
Obviously I have calls in to several of my folks and I hope to have some concrete facts soon.
One thing is for sure: [B]Erika did in fact state to several of her roommates and production folks that she wanted out - and preferably with Ian.[/B]

I hope she doesnt leave. If all of her past drama has made its way into the house, this her chance to get closure on the stuff from all the people she knows in real life and have affected by her past. If she runs away from it shes not learning anything. I actually live close to BWI, but I just had my 4th kid 3 weeks ago so sadly even if I caught all this in time to stalk the departing terminal drop off, I wouldnt have been able to...sucks finally having fav show so close to home and I cant get a front row view to all the drama that i loves

I just barely REALLY got into real world now since they are in DC but have watched an episode here and there before Cancun.

I believe it may have something to do with the timing. Erika's been there for 2 months, and they still have half a season to film. I'm not sure how long Joey was around before he left, but if the season was already half over, it might not make sense to replace him.

I kinda wish they put another roommate in when Joey left--there probably wouldn't have been as much focus on Pat. Then again, Brittini and Nick were pretty forgettable on Hollywood, with the new hour format.
If there is new roommate, hopefully he/she doesn't fade into the background.

This is awesome. D.C. should bring forth discussion most of the time avoided and bring lots of respect in which was tried to be garnered from Brooklyn. Props to the producers this show should be lights out.

I'm now 99.7% sure of this as one of my sources just shared with me that several plans inside the house have changed. Including some projects that Erika was working with others on that now the other roommates have to take on.
