What you have here is a [I]teachable moment[/I]:
Strictly speaking, from an editorial point of view this is all that's necessary, albeit just the bare minimum.
From the writers' points of view this still gives them all the credit for their "great scoops" since everybody who read the online and print editions of that column on Friday was at that point lead to believe the columnists did the actual work of researching that information instead of an exercise in cut-and-paste authoring. Few if any will see the corrective sourcing. This is also what happens with corrections and retractions in newspapers. It takes care of the ethical and legal requirement; that's all it does.

Agreed. They didn't even provide a live link to the sourced article in question, which is standard practice when you are taking directly from others work in an internet setting.
Oh well, it is not like I know anyone that reads that propaganda spewing "newspaper" anyway. They are not known for being neutral, factual or thorough and as this situation illustrates, they only come forward to partially amend their content ripping ways - when pressed.

I agree with Wiggy on this one. if you have info to share then share. I never said I dont think much of what you said. I am stating facts. I would love to see a castmember sneak off and post something on here. But in reality they would be kicked off the show and sued.

I'm not seeing what you're seeing. And I'm also not sure how you're wagering a guess from this photo of them going to Subway yesterday. Subway is not even close to the WWC.
