I have a number of friends who are Flames fans and I think it has rubbed off on me over the years. Why are you cheering for Boston? ;)
A friend of mine plays for them. I guess I'm not necessarily cheering for the team as much as I am for him to do well...but that won't be happening anymore. Actually, I think I can probably scratch them off my list altogether and focus on just Detroit and Calgary :)
Looks like Rodney did well for you B! :)
Looks like Rodney did well for you B! :)
He did, but I waived him for next week as I have Masterson coming in and then the week after that Trevor Hoffman should be done his rehab assignment. He offered a reasonable stop gap but the Tigers are not the kind of team that is going to offer him 3 or 4 save opportunities a week (which is what you need in a reliever.) Sorry Molds. :(
It's ok B, I understand. *sniffle* The Tigers barely use their relievers, but when they do, they're pretty darn good. Looks like the powers that be finally came around...
Looks like the powers that be finally came around...
Yay! Good to hear, that was such a bogus suspension to begin with. Lester was great today! Nice to see him back in good form :)
The Red Sox are rolling!
Hopefully next weekend will be interesting.
Hopefully next weekend will be interesting.
And the Yanks are starting the series with Wang? That's interesting. On another (hilarious) note, I came across this and couldn't help but laugh. Rarr! Um, wow. And the new "fierce" logo isn't even in the teams colors? Yeah Lions! EDIT: Oh I guess it is in team colors but when I first clicked on the pic it was orange and black!
This one's for you Insider...
I love afternoon baseball, especially when it is a double header day!
I hate how 80% of SC's top plays are baseball at this time of year :( I saw some sick goals scored yesterday that didn't make the top 10.
I hate how 80% of SC's top plays are baseball at this time of year :( I saw some sick goals scored yesterday that didn't make the top 10.
It is the hard reality that Baseball is America's pastime. The other sports are just fillers from the Superbowl until spring training, lol. :wink2:
My perfect game day is ruined. :( Although the Sox are up 10-1, it looks like the end of the game is going to get rained out and the double header totally rained out.

Plus, they won the first game!
You got your twin bill after all Bacchus, and both were wins! The rain kinda put a damper on it, but a win is a win and I am liking the roll they are on. The B's swept the Habs too, so all-in-all a very good Boston sports day! Go Bruins, this will be their first second round playoff appearance in 10 years :) Welcome back hockey, I missed you...

Rayburn is killing me tonight. C'mon Verlander!
I've been kind of surprised how many series have been sweeps...I was expecting most to go 5.
Yeah, if Detroit and the Rangers win the next one that will be the 3rd & 4th team to sweep! Flames/Blackhawks and Devils/Hurricanes are having close series.
****...Tigers lost tonight :( But yay for the Wings, yay for the Jazz, and YAY FOR THE DUCKS! Knock the Sharks OUT!
The Braves started out so well....yeah not so much now.
Go Sox! I couldn't watch but it seemed like a good tight game. Yay for Youk and Bay hitting those homers! I am excited for the game tomorrow since I will finally get to watch the boys play again. I've missed seeing them dirty up those uniforms since the Angels series...
Great game last night (if you are a Sox fan.) If I were the Yanks I'd stop bringing in Rivera when playing the Red Sox, seriously - lol. :D

Doesn't their loss say it for him? ;)
Beckett is looking rough around the edges to start this one. I am concerned.
