Max and Benny say GO SOX!! Beat the Yanks! Max is especially excited for a Yankees beating since they are the ones who put her in a cone. Or at least that's what I tell her...
Max looks dejected.
She is not at all a fan of being dressed up or messed with. Plus we took her back to the pound to get her bits taken away and she came back with ear mites. Awesome. I felt especially bad since I had never had a cat with ear mites before so I didn't know the signs until she started scratching really bad, which is why I put the cone back on until the vet can fit us in for a cleaning. Poor cat.
I guess I am going to have to spring and get one of these for Zeus. Maybe I can keep it on him long enough to get a picture!

Does the cat have a picture of himself framed in the background? If so that cat is even more awesome than it already is.
You should definitely go for a fleece shirt to help keep them warm during the chilly October playoff games.

Just like the pros!
Ok I really don't buy pet clothes that much. I only have that one sweater and the baseball cap is an old cup they used for frozen yogurt when I went to a game as a kid. But THAT. That I must get! I am thinking b-day presents will be ordered early this year!

Haha I have a Tigers one from ice cream :)

You know this game will last a minimum of 4 hours. Games like this I am happy I'm on the west coast so I don't have to stay up until the wee hours to finish the game.

Actually, I don't mind as I am going to watch House right now and switch right into game mode with no other scheduled TV obstructions. :D
Game is working out thus far, but it is still early. I don't get too excited in these contests until I see the closers warming up (and the Red Sox are winning by a good margin!)
Not as bad as Roseanne, but definitely not one of the best we've heard:
YouTube - Denise Richards sings "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" -CUBS
Yesssssss!
I fell asleep before the fat lady sang, but I could tell from the tenor throughout (minus that shaky 5th) that she was warming up all night and that the Red Sox would prevail.
Loving the new Yankee stadium by the way. Aesthetically pleasing and nice and quiet so pitchers can focus on throwing the ball rather than dealing with obnoxious fans like at the old dump across the street. ;)

Don't forget how the batters get a little help from mother nature to make their hits sail off into the distance ;)
Hopefully Beckett can go back to his old self tonight and show Joba the Hut who is boss.
Oh BAY- BY!
Oh my gosh what happened? I tune in 10 minutes late and we are already up 4! Woohoo!
Of course I don't get to watch the Beckett/Joba game :( I'll have to keep an eye on Gameday...
Joba is a serious ****ole with no idea of sportsmanship or how the game of baseball should be played.
I am hoping Beckett pegs the first Yankee up this inning (or at least the second to last one.) I care less about the game at this point and more about payback for hitting Bay just because Joba the three year old got owned by him earlier (and a strike call to Ortiz that did not go his way.)
Joba is really what the Yankees have become. It is a sad state of affairs for that club, but I guess when your owner is a ******* you end up with ******* players.

I do not like Joba at all. I didn't see the pitch so I will take your word for it that it was a cheap shot, and I would expect nothing less from him given how he likes to take Youks head off. I guess he couldn't do that today since Youk is out of the line up. I do feel a little bad for him though since he just found out on Monday from the press that his mom was arrested on dealing meth. That has to mess with you a little.

Eck is calling the game and he just kept repeating, "That is not right. WHAT WAS HE THINKING??"
Then they did the Beckett montage with retaliation talk, but said the game was too close...
Anyway, Joba does this candy *** walk every time he gets a strike out (almost detouring though Queens.) It's like, Hey moth******** - you're losing. Smarten up and maybe take a page from the guy you just pegged and show some ******* cl***.
Ok, I am getting excited. I need to take a deep breath. :D
Edit: Finally, they pulled that ********.
Man, he is just so arrogant on the field. I hate it. Yeah you are a good young player, and yeah you play for the Yankees, but guess what, they may be the most recognizable team but they aren't the best anymore! Plus, I still don't think he has really proven himself as a great young pitcher/player like say, Paps. He has been in only one postseason and all I think anyone remembers from it is him whining about some bugs. I just see him as this young kid who thinks he is so great but still has to throw tantrums to make his point.
