The Real World Cancun

That's why Baya said she would be missing Sara and Katelyn, but never mentioned Devyn. I dunno, it just struck me as odd how much Devyn was crying over leaving and Katelyn said something like you can't take her away if they would be back after a week.

Okay I'll start. I hope they don't go back to the trashy Real World of past seasons. Brooklyn was a breath of fresh air in a sense that it wasn't all about ***, hooking up, and getting drunk. They acutally took advantage of the time they had there and I'd like to see that continue this season.

I'm sure it's hard for even the most straight edged person to go down there 5 months and not be a bit drunk/party. It's Cancun -- which is why they probably stationed this coming season down there.

So is there possibly a [COLOR="DarkRed"][U]Ruthie[/U][/COLOR] like cast member down in cancun? It would make sense with the location

I'm more excited than EVER to watch the real world Cancun!! I hope MTV realized how much of a snooze this season was w/ no hookups & drunk parties...I'm royally bummed out however to hear that they cut filming short...if they have sufficient material I wish they could just extend the season even though they've moved to hour shows. :) If people don't like watching real world because they think the cast has no morals or what have you then don't turn on the TV ever! Reality shows have taken over and I'm sorry but the only interesting ones are the ones w/ lots of drama, hot guys/girls, and ridiculous fights. maybe this isn't the "right" direction but I'm sorry I enjoy watching rock of love bus w/ Bret Michaels on vh1 because it makes me feel less trashy than those girls and by the end I feel much better knowing my life isn't a train wreck like theirs...LOL but back to subject CANNOTTTT wait for season 22!!! & Paper if you still read these, I've been to Cancun twice already both times on spring break. My senior year of HIGH SCHOOL my Mom funded my trip (while I was 18..legal drinking in Mexico) and me and my best friend went with her parents who actually came to the bar to supervise us. they were the coolest parents in America and it's not like they stopped us from having a good time as we both came back having made out w/ a few people either way :P Cancun may be crazy but what an experience, anyone who hasn't been there needs to book a trip NOW...it's the most gorgeous place to be!

Does anyone know the reason why they cut off production so early, and how long did it tape for? (Sorry if these questions already been answered.) There was a rumor, but turned out not to be entirely true. In any event, it would be a spoiler... We know part of the reason was cost driven. MTV also canceled the the preseason house tour and Cancun location show that was to have been taped this week but MTV didn't have the money. One of our vevmo members was to have been the host. Don't ask who, I'm not telling.

I am surprised that they are deciding to promote it so quickly, even if the season was that good. When will they learn to take time and promote the heck out of it?

I'm surprised that the trailer is coming out and we still don't know who the roommates are.

I doubt we'll be seeing the Cancun trailer anytime soon. Have we ever saw a RW trailer that soon? Other than maybe the Brooklyn trailer.. which accidentally leaked early, but was then removed.

Hope this season is as good as it is made out to be. No doubt it will though, the cast looks pretty interesting from the pictures themselves. I'm getting the sense that there will be tremendous amounts of fighting.

Someone said that they are still filming in Cancun.. but they are not. Unless she meant filming scenery, that is incorrect. All of the cast returned home at the beginning of the week.

Well, another season done and I am waiting for what Cancun has to offer.

If anyone is bored, it would be nice to put together a cast matrix with First and last Name, Hometown, Age, Sexual orientation (and anything else of value as notes.) I think we have most of that information, but unfortunately it is scattered about across hundreds of pages. Normally, I'd just do it - but I'm a bit busy today. ;)
