I'm not really sure if this was posted about before but this is the first time I read it and it did kind of surprise me.
So it looks like there was some sort of conflict between CT and Isaac. If I were him I probably wouldn't have let CT stay, just because he would be competition.
But one question I do have, do they normally leave it up to someone like that? Like when CT punched Davis, did they ask Davis about CT staying? Because I always just assumed that the rules were, you punch someone, you go home.
Maybe he never actually crossed the line and punched Isaac, but just crossed the line in another way. I think this happened to Will (RW20), but they eventually let him stay. THere are many ways to only semi-break the rule. For example, Trisha (RW19) pushing Parisa. If I am not mistaken, they let Parisa make the call of whether she went home or not.

Then again Parisa just shoved her.... and they are diffrenet shows which may mean diffrent contracts (idk) Plus Ct is crazy and you neve know what he would do if he stayed

The contract language regarding violence is identical. Viacom only has one standard to they would be sued for having different ones.
If been told that CT will not be invited again. The liability threshold is now simply too high for the network and the insurance company.

LOL... ok I was wishing that would happen...

Not me, I like CT's challenge capability ..... however, I guess Viacom and BMP simply had enough . Given that not all is known or has been revealed about how the altercation between CT/Adam developed or it's end result ...... CT has been the focal point of too many physical altercations ..... after being given chance after chance
I do believe in 2nd chances however, and also think that everyone is entitled to a "mulligan". However, if granted a second chance, don't make people regret giving you one.
Abram has been pretty well disciplined since his fight with Donnell.
On another note, I asked and sort of received a mulligan today from the powers that be in relation to "spoilers vs speculation". While I was under the impression that speculations allowed one to view other's insights of how they view the game ...... it can also be a double edged sword esp if you are using current spoiler info to deduce given speculation. With that, a warning shot was granted .... a plea was heard .... and a consensus and understanding was reached. If CT had followed these fundamentals .... and had taken heed to the viable contract clauses ..... he could have provided us all with entertainment down the end stretch of this challenge. It would have been fun to see him and Landon or him and Mark in a duel.

I was implying that we only know that the confrontation was physical, not that any punches were thrown or to what extent it was. For all we know, his fight with Isaac could have been a small shove, and then the next day he could have punched Adam. This would explain why Isaac was given the choice of whether CT should stay and not just have him instantly booted. That was the original question I was responding to.
But one question I do have, do they normally leave it up to someone like that? Like when CT punched Davis, did they ask Davis about CT staying? Because I always just assumed that the rules were, you punch someone, you go home.
I guess it depends on the confrontation. On BOTS2 when Steven slapped Shane, Shane begged for him to stay to no avail. But I think I remember that on the RW:Seattle, they let the cast view the tape of the slap to decide whether or not that Stephen could stay.
I don't blame BMP for realizing they shouldn't be inviting CT anymore. It has to be fairly embarrassing for them that they allowed him to stay (with Isaac's consent), only to promptly have him get into a physical altercation with someone else. I wonder how much of it they'll actually show. Seriously, though, they should have figured out that he's a liability a long time ago.
So, weather delays, huh? In New Zealand, I would have expected delays due to rampaging sheep, or perhaps attack by Lord of the Rings tourists.
Edited to add:

Wait...what???? I would, er, have to disagree.

Yay!!! No more CT on challenges!
I really wonder what I and a lot of other people are going to do. We all love the "veterans" like Coral, Brad, Rachel, etc. But with a lot of people retiring, like Derrick, Miz, CT (now hearing that he won't be asked back), Brad after Duel 2, who am I gonna root for or watch the show for. I mean, not all new people are bad, but it just isn't the same from what I watched since I was 14, now being 20. I'm happy that Rachel was asked back to the Island and Duel 2, and Mark/Ruthie/Landon/Katie are/were on the Duel 2, but I don't really think they are gonna come back to a lot more challenges. Hearing that this is Katie's last one is sad. I guess, I just can't get used to the newer people.

New people discover the show every season and some 'graduate' to other reality shows. It is the natural evolution of things. As for the "retirements," Brad and Mark both said after past challenges that they would not return, but they came back. I can see how Katie would change her mind and perhaps some of the older cast appearing on this challenge will serve to inspire other veterans to do so.
As for CT, one veteran's response to word of his ban is probably food for thought. She said, "People at BMP will say not that this is the right decision, but with one word from Jon Murray, everyone will be saying it is a great idea for CT to come back. In their next sentence, they will trash Adam and Isaac."

Yeah I get everything that you're saying. It's still sad though. Cause I'll always be a fan of this show, but not be a fan of the new people. Cause I want them to be like the people I watched for so long but they'll never fill those shoes.
So is it a fact that CT will not be asked to come back? Or was that someone from the cast's opinion. I'm a little confused about that.

You will have to remain confused because if I told you, my source would be in serious trouble.
I get what you are saying about the "new people." I once had the same reaction until I simply decided that the new cast members are entitled to bring their own shoes and not fill any old ones simply because I had not yet warmed up to them. It is admittedly very different for me, because my interest in the show is professional and not personal, but I have my favorites, nonetheless.
I still wish CT had controlled himself. With all the pre-season buzz about the impending CT vs Evan duel, I was really looking forward to Evan taking the first flight home. Both are ********** but I'd rather have had CT on for most of the season than Evan.
I'm trying to get used to the new people, cause eventually they will be the veterans.
For years anytime new people come onto the challenges I say how much I miss the people that I used to say I hated.
I wonder if they plan on showing the fight between CT and Adam or just the aftermath.
I think they would show the fight since they would want more ratings and drama.
I think they would show the fight since they would want more ratings and drama.
Of course they will air it, it is probably the only footage of CT that they have...LOL
Of course they will air it, it is probably the only footage of CT that they have...LOL
LOL and they'll probably air the CT/Issac altercation.
I can only begin to imagine what Isaac did to CT.
It would be funny to see what Issac did. I think its a coward move that CT always has fights with the smaller guys.
I wonder if they plan on showing the fight between CT and Adam or just the aftermath.
I think it depends upon Adam. If he is as angry and disappointed in BMP as I've heard he is for not backing him, then he could very well file suit against BMP and MTV/Viacom, and also seek immediate injunctive relief to ensure he is not shown in any episode. Since noting proceeds quickly through the California courts, BMP could be forced to edit the show without the fight or Adam being shown, if they want to air the challenge just after the end of RW Brooklyn.
Absent Adam caring about it, I'm confident that they will show most of it since cameras were present, but I've been told that the production crew had to put down their equipment in order to stop CT from bashing Adam's head repeatedly against the ground. Since I obviously was not present, this is an account that is subject to revision as additional people come forward to talk about it.

this got me thinking about the opening for the season, I wonder what it'll be like. I liked the Islands but I'd say nothing compares to the Gauntlet 2's, even if some of the team colors were messed up haha. Also do we have a host yet? I could be just blanking at the moment if TJ was already named host but I can't remember haha
Let's stay on topic, please. "Spoiler discussion" only.

Same here I think I just need to realize that there is only 1 veronica, 1 katie, 1 Tina, 1 Coral etc.

My apologies.
I didn't post in the Past Seasons thread because the ppost I quoted contained a spoiler and I didn't want people who want to discuss older challenges to be spoiled for the upcoming challenge...

It sounds like a dangerous situation for all involved, and I wouldn't blame Adam for being furious. CT certainly has been known as a loose canon and a violent drunk for awhile now, and that should really preclude his involvement from this type of show rather than encouraging it. I don't see what meaning "zero tolerance" has when someone who has a history of violent behaviors on these shows is repeatedly invited back.
That being said, lawsuits are expensive and complicated and long, and Adam might just want to move on with his life.
Sounds like that fight got pretty intense...CT definitely went overboard at one point and deserved to get sent home. Who started it? CT? AStill in a way it is set perfect with them putting down their equipment makes it more dramatic in a way. But for some reason I feel that only a bit of it might actually end up on tv.
