What are you predictions on some possible upcoming Face Offs?
From the opening Credits, you can clearly see KellyAnne in one where she has to hold herself up between like two logs. (Rachel is seeing doing this as well)
There seems to be one with a huge ball. But there is more than 3 people participating in it (Ashli, Tyrie, Paula, Jenn), so perhaps it's not a Face Off?
One where contestants need to run/skip? across this boardwalk like structure. I believe Evelyn is in this one?
Then there is the one where the contestants jump into the water, with their hands tied behind their backs. Again more than three.
So maybe there are going to be like reward challenges or something too?

kellyanne seems a lot angrier/weirder than I recall from her season, but so far I'd say that entire cast is playing it the right way by letting all the "top dogs" go ahead and volunteer themselves and get their keys. If I were Cohutta, I'd be a lot more comfortable going in against a Ryan or a Tyrie, than Derrick or Abe (sucks he's gone). And Dunbar just got plain lucky.

You think Kenny, Derrick or Johnny are going to give up their keys? Evelyn is right. It's all about getting and keeping a key.
Maybe KA is just hungry and doesn't care about catering to people who'll probably vote her off anyway.
I agree I thought KA was more of a happy go lucky, go with the flow, type personality. But on the challenge she seems constantly annoyed.

The mistake you and others may make would be in failing to consider the essential difference between the relatively outgoing and social Kelly Anne and the Evelyn-inspired Kelly Anne who wants very much to be in the final competition for $75,000. She arrives on the island to find herself on the outside of a major power alliance where there are no teams and the rules clearly favor the people who have game the challenge before they ever left home.
The rest of the cast is no less locked into their own view of the new people if they have not worked with them outside of BMP. Dunbar did make an impression on Paula from their club work together, which is 1) why he is in an alliance with Paula, Kenny, Derrick and Johanna, and, 2) why he finds himself in trouble when he gets back home after the challenge is over.

I guess that's what I need to consider while watching KA as well. Obviously I know people who have made her aquaintence.. (even though I've not had the pleasure) and they say nothing but wonderful things about her.
I suppose this is her first challenge and we should cut her some slack.

No, I wouldn't cut her any slack. I look at her critically. Understanding the motivation behind one's behavior does not necessarily excuse it, as you have pointed out previously. That said, she is one of the cast members I like, along with Johanna. That they are on opposing "teams" only make it more interesting to watch, though it also often requires a careful choice of words when I comment on them.
Did Kelly Anne, like Tonya, have her medication taken away? If so, that could certainly be a contributing factor to her mood. Also, she seemed to want to be social and nice when she got there, based on her conversation with Johanna. She asked why people were already scheming and planning when they don't even know the rules, why they couldn't just take it easy, and Johanna told her it's because of the $300,000. And then rolled her eyes.
It's also a lot harder to stay calm and happy when you're continually being dissed and spoken down to by an *** of a person they call Bananas.
Actually liked that Johnny caused trouble mostly for drama effect, he brings conflict and ****** everyone off at a glance. That being said some of these people need to chill it and calm down. They seem to fight every time you bat an eyelash but that is that those conditions do to you.

I'm sorry, but Johnny is a complete loser in my book. Further, I'm shocked that you would like that he causes trouble in the way that he does -- the operative word being "trouble," not drama, not good TV, not interesting interaction between two **** sapiens who strongly disagree. "Bringing conflict" need not be intentionally hurtful; and, just as there is never any excuse for racism, there is also no room in a civilized society for the misogyny his behavior fully exemplifies.
I don't believe for one minute that he causes trouble "for drama(tic) effect." He clearly is not intelligent enough to do that. Or, if he does, he has a seriously misplaced sense of the dramatic element in reality TV. For intense drama to be effective it must be rare, meaningful and occur at the most critical point in the storyline. He brings none of that. In fact it is so consistent yet random that one must wonder if the he's "juiced" comments heard on the dailies are made in reference to him.
He could very well end up going all the way in the game. The fact is that his "friends" and detractors among the cast and crew privately laugh at him. Well, some are not so private in the derisive comments.
You tell me how many times it is appropriate for Johnny to hit on Tonya, and how many times must she say to him, "Johnny, I'm married" before we all say 'Enough!" I'm tired of the apologies and excuses for him. It's time for a little truth, and the truth should shame us all.

Isn't there ususally some cast loyalty on these challenges? Dunbar turned on his cast pretty quick. Kelly Anne seemed to be the only girl from the Sydney cast that he considered a friend. He turned on a friend cheated again, and didn't win anything in the end. Dunbar is a loser at life in general.

I'm wondering if the challenge between johnny, abe and derrick would have been different had a girl been in the mix. i don't think it's sexist to say that a girl could not win that kind of challenge against a guy. even the strongest girl would have gotten tossed around. There is no indication that the challenges are determined before the players are chosen.

dunbar seems pretty quiet so far. i haven't been watching the dailies like a lot of you. so maybe my opinion won't get me too far. Kenny might have said he's a 'roid head' just b/c dunbar has such a bad temper.

I totally agree with that. There may be some women out there someplace that could have pulled it off.. but not on this challenge. I dont think Ev could have even won. I suppose it's a possibility... but I doubt it.

that was actually my initial assumption. It can't be mere coincidence that the face-off with Tonya actually required some amount of endurance and agility, whereas the one with three guys was more of an in-your-face against each other type deal.
Speaking of crazy endurance challenges that girls are good at, does anyone remember that challenge on BOTS (maybe it was BOTS II?) where they had to sit on ice, and it was 3 girls who went on [I]forever?[/I]
