re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
The elimination of Tyrie and Jasmine does not surprise me. I figured they'd be the next to go. I'm just hoping the next isn't Ty & Emily (only because I like Emily).
So who's left (in no particular order)
1. Mark/Robin
2. CT/Diem
3. Johnny/Camila
4. Dunbar/Paula
5. Abram/Cara Maria
6. Ty/Emily
7. Rachel/Aneesa
8. Assumed male/male pairing
Crossing my fingers for Johnny/Camila to be gone next - closely followed by Dunbar/Paula. I'm not a huge Aneesa or Rachel fan, but I'm loving that they are still there being the only female/female pairing. I wonder how many teams will be in the final challenge.
I'm not too excited to see Adam agin, although Adam and Nany in the same house again should be entertaining. So its Johnny, Adam R, Nany, Leroy, Mandi, Paula, Wes, Mark, Kelly Anne and Cara? And the cast is usually 28 people?
Robin and Priscilla (doubt her) were taking some test too
Another possibly is Dustin, since someone posted a screen shot of his gym stating that he was training for the next challenge and he wrote that we will see him on TV soon. So if Dustin is in it, maybe Heather too since she having working a lot too. She told Priscilla that they need to take her out of this country and Mark wrote to her, Nany and Naomi on Twitter that he would expect to see them on future challenges after all of them came back from Vegas Bash. I am too lazy to look for that and take a screen shot.
Um, no one recently posted in here that they thought it was going to be a partner challenge. Just saying we either hadn't ever been sold on the idea that it had to be one, or saying there doesn't need to be another one so soon, or wondering why some assumed it was previously.
And this thread just came together from posts in other threads, so it just became possible to read this thread as a whole.
Does your recently mean "within one page" because I just shifted through the last 10 pages of this thread and multiple people criticized this being another partner challenge, or asked if it were a partner challenge, or stated they were shocked it was a partner challenge, it which molds responded less than 24 hours ago that they probably arent in couples and just a few pages back responded to yet another posted saying that not everybody thought this was another partner challenge.
If you really wanted to know information about this season then at least skim through some of the thread, or look at pages other than the last one, because most likely your question has probably already been answered multiple times and within the last 24 hours. P.S. reading through this entire thread is not impossible.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Whether or not this is relationship challenge or not the cast is sure to bring drama with the hooks ups like if lets say Mandi tried to go for CT again with Diem and Wes being there it would be really awkward. Or if anyones ex slept with someone besides they're partner would just be good drama for the show.

well he posted his Rivals jersey and all his underarmour gear when he got kicked off the show and yet BMP wanted him back for this challenge until he lied on his evaluation.

Has Davis' twitter account always been set to private? I feel like I've seen his tweets before by going to his page (and I don't follow him). Now they are private.
Im not saying that a girl/girl or a Guy/Guy pair should not be allowed but if the challenges, elmination rounds are like Rivals its not fair to have 2 girls go up against a guy and a girl or a guy and a girl go up vs 2 guys.
We don't know what the format will be. It probably won't be pairs though.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
If this challenge has 14 guys and girls then it maybe a team or pairs challenge. So far the past challenges have been 10 to 11 episodes long also.
It can still be an individual format, they just can't have guy and girl separate elimination days like they did in Duel 1.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I can't wait to see what led to Leroy & Naomi's departure! Because A) Leroy has said numerous times on podcasts that he would call out the top dogs (specifically CT in rivals) if he ever went into an elimination round and B) If he stood by his word and actually called out either CT or Mark, it should be a entertaining to say the least. On the other hand if he called out a weak player and got sent home, it would be just as entertaining.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I just want some new faces in the finals. Johnny and Mark can all buzz off imo. Gimme CT/Diem, Ty/Emily, and Abram in the finals and i wouldn't care who wins.

re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
So while I agree that the exes/hookups theme seems to be taking shape, I also agree it's more likely than not going to be another pairs challenge.
My guess is that if this is the theme BMP is going for, then it would be a team challenge. Maybe Battle of the Sexes with a twist? Meaning like a guy team vs. a girl team? I have no idea. Just popped into my head literally like two seconds ago as I was looking at the list.
Of course, BotS wouldn't really work with LGBT pairs. Whoops!

Didn't Davis say no, despite being asked? I could've sworn I read that somewhere. If that's true, it doesn't really leave any male same sex couples that I know of.

re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Aneesa- I'm always happy to see a true vet come back.
Camila- Not her again.
Cara Maria- I've grown to like CM even though she is a Fresh Meater.
Diem- Even though she's Fresh Meat, I like her. Anticipating what will go down once she sees CT too.
Heather- My dream girl. I hope she kicks ***.
Jasmine- She's alright in my book. At least she brings something to these shows.
Mandi- See Camila.
Naomi- Like Jasmine, she's alright in my book. I can see her, Aneesa, and Jasmine forming a little stable and not taking **** from anyone lol.
Paula- Why couldn't you be like Brad? Win and retire. The difference though is I actually like and want Brad back unlike this "old lady." lol
Priscilla- I have to see more from her on RW: B2 San Diego.
Rachel- Surprise she's back for another, but I'm not complaining. She's my favorite female Road Ruler.
Robin- My first Real World crush lol. Hope she finally wins or else her challenge record will worsen lol.
Sarah- She's really going for Derrick's record on appearing on the most challenges in a row huh? She wasn't lying at all when she said on the Ruins that a huge reason for her signing up for the RW was so she can do the challenges lol.
Abram- Glad his back. One of my favorite Road Rulers.
CT- O HELL YEAH!
Dunbar- Oh no his back.
Dustin- Oh man I can't wait to see his crazy antics. This dude showed on Vegas how competitive he is. Can you imagine if this challenge is a team thing and his team loses a mission and starts telling his teammates "YOU GUYS ARE KILLING ME, KILLING ME." lol
Johnny- Dude you just won a challenge. Take a break for a little bit.
Leroy- Oh yea "Big Le" is back!
Mark- This challenge just go better.
Nate- I see a mini Abe in him. Could be a dark horse.
Tyrie- Couldn't get anyone better?
Vinny- Rather see Noor or Pete instead of this guy.
Wes- Since FM2 I'm no longer a big fan of Wes, but at least he brings athletic ability.
Overall I really like this cast. One of the best in a long time.
If this challenge has 14 guys and girls then it maybe a team or pairs challenge. So far the past challenges have been 10 to 11 episodes long also.
Let me kind of clarify on the question marks...
I am not sure how many people are on this challenge. I, for one, from the beginning have guessed 14 a side; I also guessed it is a team challenge rather than a pairs challenge. There could be more than 28 (which I doubt), there could be less than 28 (which is certainly possible). Therefore, I added the question marks, mainly so I don't get the "ZOMG IS THIS IT R U SURE U RNT MISSING NY1 ?!?!?!?11" questions.
One thing to know: right now, I have 13 confirmed females and 11 confirmed males for a total of 24 people. The way I see it, these are the possibilities:
1. I am not missing any people and this is a 24-person pairs challenge.
2. I am missing people (including a gay couple) and this is either a pairs challenge or a team challenge (likely missing 2 couples for a total of 28).
3. I am missing people (not including a gay couple) and this is likely a pairs challenge with a total cast of 26 or 28.
One reason I have thought this is a team challenge rather than a pairs challenge is because of Aneesa and Rachel. This is why I have always thought that there is a gay couple in the mix as well, to even out the teams by gender. If this is not the case and no gay couple is there (which is becoming more and more likely), then they are competing as pairs. No, I do not think Darrell is there.
I find it interesting that four people (3 men and one woman) have been confirmed out, when their normal schedule has two of each sex eliminated per week. They may have changed up their regular schedule to quickly complete production (and save $$). It is of note that, if this is a pairs challenge, Mandi was off the grid for about a week and a half following her elimination from Cutthroat, and Sarah is also a fan of traveling (but then again, who isn't?). It also makes figuring out who was eliminated much easier, similar to Rivals, as we only need one half of a pair to tell us who's home.
I can confirm, however, that this is not an individual challenge.
And as for the people asking if I know the cast and am just waiting for the "right time" to reveal their identities - when I know, you will know. Who knows...maybe I've already revealed the entire cast.
tl;dr: I'm not positive there are 28 people, still not sure if it's pairs or teams, stop asking me if I'm hiding things from you
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Perhaps the answer lies in whether or not you can think outside the box. There are many ways the total challenge time can be shortened, thus speeding up the elimination timeline.
Injuries also are a storyline when they happen to popular/recognizd characters. Storylines nearly always = episodes.
The "challenge" series is a business enterprise. The more efficient it becomes, the greater the potential bottom line ($$$$), assuming that nothing in the efficiencies implemented result in bad TV. As a Viacom stockholder, I want short production schedules and "long" returns. The stock has lost $8 per share in value over the past year.
Think
outside
the
box.
Shorter production times would also increase the likelihood of someone electing to accept an invitation to be on the Challenges. To me it does not feel any faster than rivals so much as it does that it seems to be easier to find out the spoilers this time once Molds narrowed down the cast. As for the business enterprise, I would say that Viacom/MTV/MTV need to do some thinking outside the box too for these things to bring in royalties.
Now that it's pretty obvious they are competing and leaving as pairs, doesn't that negate the "need" for a male/male pairing at all? I mean, some say it's unfair to have Rachel/Aneesa compete against male/female pairs, but then wouldn't it be even more unfair, by that logic, if they ended up competing against a male/male pair?
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
You not liking Wes is very obvious. Wes is a very good competitor. He is probably a top 5-8 competitor right now and he used to be a top 3 competitor (During FM1 and Duel1 he was unbelievable). I would put him below CT and Abram for this challenge and on the same level as Mark, Johnny, and Leroy. The difference between them in this challenge will probably be who their partners are. Mandi has been on 3 prior challenges and she has won a total of 1 team challenge and 0 elimination rounds. The 1 team challenge win is also questionable, according to Evelyn.
Wes a top three competitor at his peak? CT & Evan placed higher than him at everything on Duel 1 except for the swimming mission at the end and Wes had nothing to do with taking either guy out on that challenge...even Brad performed better than Wes throughout that challenge as a whole and finished the final with a better time than Wes did.
And that's just from castmembers that were on the Duel 1...guys like Landon, Alton, and Mark who are also better athletes than Wes weren't even there. Wes was fringe top ten at his peak at best, quit fooling yourself into thinking he was ever on the level as guys like CT or Landon.
I'm not too excited to see Adam again, although Adam and Nany in the same house again should be entertaining. So its Johnny, Adam R, Nany, Leroy, Mandi, Paula, Wes, Mark, Kelly Anne and Cara? And the cast is usually 28 people?
If these people are actually on it, I could see the format being similar to Rivals but instead of rivals it would be ex's. That would guarantee drama.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
It now is beginning to look like a pairs challenge so I could see how the alliances are shaking out. It seems pretty obvious to me that Johnny + Mark + Paula are going to be controlling this game. Cara Maria + Abe and CT + Diem are probably the strongest teams left and are likely outside the alliance so that should cause some nice conflict.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Actually, yes they can tell them what to do with Facebook and Twitter accounts. Its the rule with anything not just reality game shows. Unless of course you're Wes Craven and Anthony Anderson.
Something about Camila's tweets make me think that she and Johnny won
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some DC and NOLA2 peeps. I really don't know why they keep skipping over Andrew, I thought he was a sure bet for the challenges.
Darrell said on the Fresh Meat II after show that he's done, but he could come back if it was a Duel since you're on your own. That doesn't mean if there is a Duel 3 he'd be on it, but that's pretty much the only one he would do.
Thanks, that must be where I heard. That makes me a little sad because I enjoyed watching him and that streak. Always was fascinated by how he was able to play such a low key game but at the same time step up when needed. I disappointed in how the ruins ended for him, he was one of the few guys to go in and earn extra cash for himself and he threw it all away. Hopefully he's having success with his boxing. I'd like to catch a fight of his.

I've already answered this question, but the most logical choice in my opinion is pitting them against each other on two separate teams.
Dustin vs Heather
Abram vs Cara Maria
Adam vs Nany
Mandi vs Wes
Sarah vs Vinny
etc, etc...
Therefore, if there are any LGBT couples (my guess: there will be one of each) the number per gender will be the same while still keeping the teams even in terms of gender.
This is, in my opinion, the way BMP will get the most drama.

re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
My thoughts:
Mark- Nice to see a real vet. Although he's kinda boring
Abram- Love him. Wonder what his status with CM is now. Also wonder how he will do with four other alpha males on the cast: CT, Mark, Wes and Johnny(did I just type that?)
CT- I love what he brings to the shows now.
Wes- I hated him after Rivals. He seemed to just do/say **** for TV. But it'll be interesting with CT and Abram there.
Tyrie- I really am pulling for him. He always seems to get the short end of the stick.
Dunbar- Please go away
Vinny- Glad they're giving him another chance
Leroy- Cool dude, hopefully he is in an alliance this time around and not so "whatever" like Rivals
Dustin- Didn't really like him on his season, but it should be interesting to see how he is on a challenge. Would be 3294759348573489 times better if Mike was there......
Nate- Uh...nice to see a new face?
Johnny- Hate him, but looking forward to how he'll try to manipulate the game this time I guess.
Aneesa- Love her. Glad she got asked back after getting shafted on Rivals
Robin- Never thought I'd see the day when i was looking forward to seeing her again, but I am.
Rachel- Love her
Paula- Please go away
Sarah- Please go AWAY!!!!!
Naomi- Looking forward to her
Heather- Looking forward to her
Camila- Love her. Should be interesting with Jasmine there.
Jasmine- See Camila
Cara Maria- Love her after Rivals
Diem- Ugh, I hate her attitude. Oh well.....
Priscilla- Excited to see her.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Im just hoping Robin, Aneesa, and I guess Diem too, all get on the same team so they can finally say they won 1. Aneesa truly deserves a win and I hope this one is the one she wins on.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I guess I'm the only one rooting for Johnny to do well. I wouldn't mind Abe winning it either.
Nope, I am too. Add Mark Long to that list and those are the three guys I'm rooting for. However I'm not a fan of the girls they're with...I'm iffy at best on Cara and don't care for Robin or Camila. In terms of the girls I'm rooting for Paula Diem and Rachel but I don't like Dunbar or Aneesa and I'm indifferent to CT.
Ashley said that she hasn't been asked for a challenge yet either, that one shocked me by far because she was the only thing that was interesting about DC. She would definitely bring drama to the challenges.
Battle of the Exes?
This is what I was thinking, but I'd be disappointed if that was the case and there was no Evelyn, Laurel or Emily S.
I sure hope so! They're such exciting television! :p
"American's most boring couple" secondary only to Zach/Ashley lol
All kidding aside, I love Jillian!
Curious to see how the team/format will go. Cutthroat is probably one of my favorites in that regard because the teams were not set until the challenge began so there were no time for alliances or pre-concieved notions on how everything would be split up. It also made it more fair because it was all on the captains' shoulders as to how the teams would be distributed rather than BMP and their gray areas.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Molds, I know we are not sure about Laurel yet, but when was the psyche test for the crew? Cuz she had a tweet saying "Test" but it was all the way back to the 23rd October. Did the rest take it around that time?

Naomi isn't a good athlete at all so his partner could have been his anchor especially if it was like Rivals where the worst team at each challenge had to go into the elimination round.

I began by creating a hypothetical:
"Perhaps BMP woke up and has shown the remaining cast how easily they revealed themselves to vevmo and others"
The clear suggestion in my hypothetical is that it is 1) not in this year's contract, and 2) that BMP could easily have shown the cast still in the DR that those who left before them were "outed" at vevmo by the cast's own tweets/facebook.
It's not hard, even for the most intellectually challenged cast member, to be shown the spoiler thread here are realize how someone gave him/herself away after their elimination.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Interesting that Abram and Cara were sent home, I thought they were one of the strongest teams. I guess there's just one more elimination before finals. I'm predicting Diem/CT, Robin/Mark, and Ty/Emily in the finals.
re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Plus putting them on opposite teams is the only way that an LGBT would work out on this challenge and since it seems as though Tyler is on...then that means there HAS to be 1 lesbian couple as well.
