That Canadian ****** is weird and annoying AF. Saying Jeff's lines along with him? Just ugh they assembled a bunch of game bots this season.
yeah he was weird. Everyone this season is weird like there's a gas leak on the island.
As of now, I like the cast but based on the boots so far I can see this quickly going downhill. I despise the Cochran, Christian nerdy gamebots who just try and pander to all the annoying things that turn Jeff on. There's going to be a lot of tribal analogies and that annoying stuff. Claire, Helen, and Bruce were all huge losses. I pray we have a nerd purge soon.
yes I don't hate the cast but they are nerdy and weird. I'm still giving this a chance though.
Everyone complained about last seasons cast so much but this one is getting on my nerves more so far. Please don't tell me survivor is going to be the next show I stop watching. I done stopped with Big Brother & The main show of The Challenge. Thank god for Real Housewives of Miami. I'm running out of options.
Cosmic turning everyone's posts into a random comment about a season from 2003 is so funny
You're welcome. Pearl Islands had some of the best characters like Fairplay, Rupert, and the Osten who was the first quitter ever. For reasons I don't comprehend, his quit I can understand since in that rainy and windy tribal he was gassed out. And comparing his physicality to a car was funny as heck.
Darrah and Burton should have came back for All-Stars over Rupert and Jenna L. I don't remember what Rupert did but be mad all the time and have an annoying voice to be brought back so many times.
Rupert is the most overrated human ever on reality tv. He was a manchild who just constantly threw temper tantrums and was an entitled little ***** who took everything too personal. He's terrible at the game in everyway. I will NEVER understand his popularity.

Should have been removed after touching Fairplay like that cause he got a vote.
I loved Rupert in pearl islands but it was obvious how arrogant he has been ever since. Him stealing everyone's shoes and catching a million fish is peak survivor
Claire's lack of performance to me could spell Second Chance 2 material in which Probst could obligate her to compete for at least the first reward challenge.

*sighs* I now feel that if I was on Survivor and didn't win, I would not need a Second Chance season for me to make amends since I have a big mouth which just talks and talks obsenities and trolling just to see if I can get a laugh. I would just disappear from reality for good and just get a job especially since most of my family members are getting old so I gotta take care of myself. At least gimme a one month break to smooth things over.

he caught fish in later pre merge episodes lol
rupert was amazing in pearl islands. every season after was a different person
I will give Sandra this, even though she by her own admission is very bad at challenges, she was very good at Jury management. Somebody asked her if she was in an actual situation of survival if she could last then she answered that very likely no because even though she knew which fruit is good for her but she could not catch fish. Lill's answers seemed to be more rehearsed than Sandra's at least that's what the critics would say at that time.

While I am enjoying this season...that is a stretch lol. All entertaining moments have come from a birdcage. While entertaining, I can only handle so many gimmicks and advantages. I want to see actual gameplay and strategy. I also don't love the nerdy cast vibes and don't know 85% of their names. It's also predictable and annoying all the girls are just leaving. But yes, all these considered this is a good season...all thanks to Carolyn.
Anyone ever figure out for sure if Carolyn got the idol mixed up? Sarah's 'fake' looked pretty similar to the other ones we've seen and Carolyn's was more like silver if I remember right? Maybe it'll pay off later and they'll do a flashback confirming it.
Idk how I feel about the whole handing people in the minority idols, like yeah it guarantees some idol plays and blindsides before merge but it also basically just gave those 3 a pass in the toughest part of the game which is being in a post swap minority, like I'd love to have been in that position it's a free resume boost, pretty much free pass until merge and a chance to connect with a second group of people before merge.
Was wondering if any of the three would let their old tribe know that the obvious target has an idol, could maybe see Jamie doing so since she was in decent with some of them

I'm pretty sure production designed it like this on purpose: Everyone's fake idol is the same design as someone's real idol, so it's like a cycle:
Carolyn: real idol is a coin, fake idol is beads
Danny: real idol is a medallion, fake idol is a coin
Matthew: real idol is beads , fake idol is medallion
No more Stephenie storylines. Jeff confirmed on his podcast that if a tribe gets down to two people, it will be dissolved like on the Philippines because there's no majority vote. He's so out of touch. I have been waiting for years for there to be a tribe that shrinks down to one person that has to either compete alone and gets eliminated if they don't finish first or they make the merge and become a huge underdog story line. Sigh
he also touched on the topic of idols and said that the art team purposely makes idols look cheap now, so that it's easier for players to create fake idols, and make it believable

this is my favorite cast of the "new era" so far. very messy and energetic group. its working for me so far
i love seeing oldschooler enjoying the show (tho people ARE playing the game this season... the dupe coin and tribe changes, although a gimmick, has welcomed some increased gameplay and strategy)

Interesting, not sure how I feel about it being almost impossible to tell your idol is fake. At least in the past there's been a few where it's like c'mon u really believed that, now you can't even blame someone if they found a stick with a face and note and thought it was real

Please save us with a hopeful All Star sequel in S45!
even if they did all stars y'all would still complain bc jeff will keep the twists so might as well get newbies instead of recycled returnees
Well, I never have seen most of the later seasons from S35-S43 so if I skip 44 which supposedly already has the winner spoiled then I can start over.

Carolyn is legend.
wow did hell freeze over? Not you finally stanning an entertaining blond for once!
I stan all blondes...except the cringe ones.
Women really struggling in the new era huh?
this season is top 10

I tried to like her but I can't with Carolyn.
