I'm bored of the same challenges. We really just got another repeat puzzle with a nerd, re-creating it at home. Jeff loves it. We will never see a unique brand new challenge ever again. Also I'm over the merge twist. It's not exciting. The whole point of premerge is to "earn" the merge. That twist is so stupid and it's always the SAME CHALLENGE with the boulders. They're SO LAZY
What about Japan? All the best stuff is made in Japan.
I'll take it being filmed on a ranch in Montana. Just give me something new and different than the exact same beaches.
I said Japan mainly for humor in the Back to the Future Part III quote between Marty and Doc. But at least it would be a switch and aside from the anime, Japan created Ninja Warrior which stays strong there as well as the USA version. But at least the Japanese winners like Makoto Nagano are humble and without criminal records or attitudes like Isaac Caldiero or Drew Drechsel.

dead serious agree. Inland location seasons feel so refreshing and brings a whole new energy to the show. Seriously don't see why survivor Hawaii hasn't been done although I'm sure it is more expensive than fiji. Or a mountainous season filmed in Washington or Oregon. The states has so many beautiful locations to film a show like this and plenty of space.
I remember when covid first hit there were rumors of doing a Wild West desert seson in New Mexico or in Montana and I was actually super stoked for it.
I would say Florida but when the hurricane season passes. And as for Oregon, I would love to retire there mainly if the locations really are as scenic as Free Willy showed then so much for materialism.
I'd like to see them do the Amazon again in 4k, it would be great visually or the Outback again. Marquesas was supposed to be in Jordan, I believe but bc 9/11 they changed. Going back there would be great. Scandinavia or Switzerland in the winter would be sick too.
Why did they do away with Challenges where they had to vote like "most annoying" and the ones where they chopped the rope if they got questions right, and why did they quit with picking who goes on reward and what happened to the auction? Why did they get rid of the good things that caused friction and caused people to flip?

In All Stars, when Big Tom's son won the eating reward for his old man, he had the option to pick one more pair and even all the others wanted Tom to pick Rupert and Laura but either to make good on his alliance with Rob or he really is as dense as he appears so he picked Rob and his brother.

The auction got boring, most people would just bid on advantages anyway.

I remember back in Palau where Coby and Janu immediately jumped for donuts while Stephanie and Caryn jumped for pizza. And more or less excepting Caryn, one by one voted out were Coby, technical quit Janu, and Stephenie whom was always Gregg's punching bag in confessionals saying that she cannot stay because we need to get rid of all Ulong members, Koror till the end which of course is what happened.
i hate this whole "merge but not merge" thing that they started doing, why are only half the cast eating a merge fest? and if they are no longer tribes why cant someone fight for individual safety? the shit is dumb
But Koror paid Steph back for her being the last Ulong voted out with Gregg being the next one eliminated. Katie had a bit of an attitude that was often the subject of arguments between her and Caryn and if you thought Sandra was terrible in competition, Katie was slow as slow got.

I don't really like when the final 3 became people that likely never worked with each other but due to a reward meal where the winner picked two more to share, they make an agreement to last till the end. Sarah Lacina, Brad Culpepper, and Troyzan Robertson I think were the first ones I saw do that.

id rather that than this. majority of the times those reward picks were double edged swords and ending up making someone a target or burn jury votes

When Happy Dance Mike from S30 at first wanted to buy a food and was on his way to pick it up, he stopped and asked if he could switch the reward for an advantage which was granted by Jeff but for some reason old man river Dan was the most unhappy and publicly shunned Mike but in the final tribal, Mike managed to say something that I guess Dan accepted as an apology.

Mike Holloway from season 30 Brains vs Brawn vs Beauty was known for doing a "happy dance" when he found idols and he also lost Dan the old man who kept saying he was adopted for some creepy reason IDK. In the Auction reward which I think is the last season to feature this unfortunately, Mike won at first it was food but he quickly changed his mind to switch from the food for an advantage in the immunity challenge and Dan lost his respect for him but when Mike answered one of Dan's questions in the final tribal, somehow Dan was able to put aside his hatred for Mike and vote for him.
Ok, I was high on this season at the start but tonight I'm reminded why I hate the "new era". It's not a strategy game, it's a game of luck. Having half the tribe safe is dumb, it's not fair he didn't know to have his bag. There's just too many twists, it's not fun like Jeff thinks it is. It sucks. It's annoying and not Survivor. Why does Probst insist on ruining this?
one thing i can get behind w y'all's complaints is the repetitive challenges and location

How about Argentina?
Galapagos Islands?

Free Willy is one of my top 5 all-time movies.
Cool! The Michael Jackson song is also epic.

France or Italy?

I think that it would be nice to film a season in Australia's rainforest.

im not sure what just happened

so did heidi incorrectly play her advantage? what happened to saving both?
I hate these twists
