Natalie acting like she’s worth that much money. She’s entertaining but only in a bad girl setting and even that got stale as time went on. The only reason she got that much for CBBUK is because they didn’t know any better because she damn sure ain’t getting that in America.
So, I'm kind of confused on how the show is actually going to play out with ex-reality stars auditioning it almost seems like there really wasn't a reason to try out.. I was hoping it was going to be something similar to the old days where they brought people on the show because they had interesting stories to tell and genuine personalities..
I tried out hoping to talk more about my experience being newly diagnosed with Lupus as of two years and the daily stuggles of that along with my experience being born intersex and how that had a huge affect on the whole first half of my life and still having issues with my body and even body dismorphia at times.. also talking being adopted and essentially on the run from my biological family.. after an abusive past and just in general being a 25 year old black women in today's world with these elements.. I was hoping to share my experience because I feel like it maybe something people can identify with.. but it feels like real world maybe taking the clout route..
Im to young to really know the past seasons but I do remember things like Tami's abortion or Kevin & Julie's racial issues Pedro & Pucks story even Brynns battle with body issues, or Trishelles pregnancy scare and Paula's everything scare lol and even Frankie from San Diego 2004... idk I'm gonna come up with other ways to share. Something that feels genuine also..
Girl...... you’re too good for Real World and I know that by reading only 3-4 of your posts. Good luck though, you would think you’d be perfect for a show like this even in its revival.

It's funny because I use to watch this show heavily from seasons 9 to 18 and I learned so much from the show recently anything after Hollywood I didn't watch much of (ACCEPT FOR ADAM & DUSTIN ON BACK TO VEGAS) that seasons had some good moments. Bus besides that just clips here and there but it's crazy how much of an affect a show like this had on me as a pre teen and teenager it made me more confident and comfortable and I hope they find a way to get that energy back... Because it changed alot of peoples lives for the better everything being party party work out party is honestly not that great.. there's no growth..
That to me feels like the issue there must be growth..
@ElleBrown you've got such an interesting past. I wish that Real World still embodied that feeling of REAL people REAL situations in every episode and shit but its about to be 2019..and there are so many ways to get a story out.
i promise you will help others & open minds and hearts if you start a YouTube channel! Please do it! Ill subscribe and definitely put people on.
Types of ppl they should cast-someone who’s overcome addiction -plus sized person-former athlete but doesn’t have “model” looks-former military member-women who is a widow or divorced-person with a disability whether it’s 1 arm, 1 leg, or wheelchair bound-person who lost their family in some tragedy-some person from another country living in USA-someone who was in a gang-someone who used to be in jail-someone who has lost a childThat’s just a few types I would find interesting...BMPs biggest issue is looking for looks/followers, not people/stories
Sadly, I don’t think none of that will capture the interest of the target demographics of today. People nowadays just love drama.
Your criteria for an eventual cast is wonderful, but realistically it wouldn’t work rating wise.

But the reality of the matter is without interesting unique stories no one is really about to watch this show on Facebook Watch. The stale drama they provided the last few seasons didn't save the show when it was on MTV and certainly won't on Facebook Watch when there are better shows on TV and streaming servcices providing that same content. I'm sure one of those Instagram reality TV pages will upload clips from the show which is likely how I'll see it.

It will sadly be a flop regardless.
People will call me crazy again, but it could work if they focus on the Black predominantly. Because molestation, teen pregnancy, crazy baby mothers, drug abuse, child abuse, depression and other mental illnesses are quite taboo in the Black community and NOBODY (expect on these scripted shows a la Maury which are mocking a mockery out of it instead of criticised it) is putting a light on it on a large platform.
Plus, seeing those issues addressed on a public light, could gather a lot of people who could relate. The Black audience is a strong one and it would be clever to capitalise on it to relaunch the show.

Eh...I doubt it. You can’t go from casting one to two Black people a season then all of sudden make the cast predominantly Black and expect a Black audience to tune in. This is essentially what happened with Bad Blood which had the most Black people on a Real World season. They had the opportunity to tell our stories years ago but reduced the Black cast members to being funny corny Black guy and advice giving Black girl. That ship has sailed.

You’re right but for Bad Blood it was in a bad taste after the whole CeeJai/Jenna fight. It came across weirdly, as a desperate attempt to appease the Black audience...
Idk we’ll see but I don’t have any positive hope for this reboot
I guess they’re done doing those open casting calls or the NYC round 2 for the people they cut it short for? The casting process sounds like it was a mess this year and I’m bummed I didn’t get to go, I’m in Philly and wasn’t doing that NYC one for all that mess

Looks like the Thailand version is now casting!
This looks like it’s gonna be tragic, where’s my tiny violin and black veil?

They need to keep this shit in the trash & leave it right where it belongs
Thanks for the love...

I went with a friend and she got picked for a call back
Frankie grande BETTER NOT be on this like people are speculating.

my ex is in the casting process right now for this lol
he wasn't for me, but he could definitely be for the show
;/// why do i have to be canadian

from what ive heard people speculating they might do a mixed cast with 1/2 reality people whove already done a show and 1/2 newbies
it should be all newbies.
They ought to cancel this now
Tragic
Told ya, Frankie is so on this... don't say i didnt warn everyone
Who do they expect to watch this?![Lol](https://vevmo.com/sites/all/modules/smiley/packs/kolobok/lol.gif)
I dont get their obsession to get a past reality star on this. I can understand an "influenecer" I guess. Even though I am not a fan of either idea.
Sadly I saw this coming, it's easier to use someone who has a fanbase already rather than take the time to make them for new people
