I hate to bring this up again but it has really been bothering me. The way these articles have portrayed CT as an opportunist just makes me mad! First of all, about the picture of him and Diem that he posted. Don't people realize that someone else had to have taken it and given it to him? It is obviously not a selfie. Also, what about the pictures her other friends have posted. Does that make them opportunists too? Finally, the videos he took of his proposals. Who doesn't videotape their proposals? Sorry, just had to get that off of my chest. Rant over!

I 100% agree with your first paragraph. I have no issue with him filming himself proposing. A lot of people do. Has he sold it to TMZ?! - no. From mid Aug until now he posted 2 pics of him and Diem, 1 of her, one about donating to Med Gift, his Goodbye one and his family thanking everyone. Thats it. He has basically been mute. He didnt want it to be about CT/Diem, just about Diem getting well. Never did I see him trying to capitolize off the situation. Even the last yr they were together/hanging out/whatever they were, he stayed silent. If he wanted to make it about him he would have been posting photos of the new bedding her bought her, painting her toes, making tons of tweets, etc etc. I totally respect how he has handled this. His friends and family have been extremely positive and concerned as well, you could tell they all loved her. And if her friends are the "Sources" trashing him that thats BS. He may not have been perfect but does anyone really know what the perfect things to do and say are when someone they are in love with his dying of cancer in front of them?!?!?! As for MTV and BMP not donating. Almost positive one of the producers did. They are not required too but it would have been really nice of them to do so. At minimum, I hope they alteast advertise MedGift at the end of the shows with donating info since Knight was also supporting MedGift.

Agree 100%. It sounded fishy the way it was presented in the People article, but when I went back and thought about it, a) tons of people film stuff like that, and b) it's not like he was ever going to have a video of their wedding or their kids' births or anything else for that matter, which breaks my heart to even think about. Videos and photographs don't always exist to be broadcasted and celebrated and splashed all over stupid social media. Nothing wrong with wanting to, like, remember a moment. Maybe it was the last thing he thought he'd ever do for her, maybe he needed it so he'd always be able to remind himself that he was there. So true! Before my sister died we recorded EVERYTHING! Anythime she was having fun and smiling we took out a camera. Just so we could look back at it. It's werid to say but sometimes when people die it just sort of seems like a dream but looking at the videos gives you some validation of their life. Just hearing the sound of their voice from time to time makes all the diffrence. Obviously he wanted Diem to say yes but having that video of her probably means something to him. And when those random times when the grief just seems like it's gonna crush him, maybe he'll look at that video and laugh and smile at Diem's disdain for rubies : )

I have always questioned how much of the US Weekly article is true. I think there is some truth to it and some things were just made up to make the story more dramatic and sell magazines. I do believe there were some details of that article that were just out and out totally false.
As far as CT possibly recording a proposal (if that is what he did...who knows what is true and what is not)....I don't think there is anything wrong with that. I can see him wanting to preserve that memory for himself, but I think what made him look bad in that article was the idea that he would be coming to visit her frequently and then all of a sudden stop for a month or two months because he couldn't handle it and then show up wanting to propose and film it....that put CT in a negative light, whereas if the article said he was always there, never left her, and then he filmed a proposal, might not have made him look bad.

I think he was always visiting her the whole time. Why would he give them any kind of insight into how he is doing or feeling when they could just twist his words around. If I were in his situation, I know I wouldn't. Hopefully in the future CT will be open to communicating with his fans directly through his own Instagram and Twitter accounts, that way fans of CT can get their information straight from the source, get the facts, as opposed to lies or a twisted version of the truth.
I wonder why they havent promoted the, "WE<3 Diem" special. There have been no commercials or anything. Also I have Xfinity and when I checked the special for information it lists both showinf as repeats: the one at 9pm and the one at 9:30pm say repeats?

Wow. How touching. He described her to the T and everything that we expected her to be doing and not this very untimely death. I said it once beore and I'll say it again, I hope she can see just how much she impacted the world. Cara Maria also drew a beautiful portrait of Diem. It is so hard to get her off the mind and I still cant believe she is gone but, as this song and Cara's painting show, her spirit will live on forever.
