Did anyone catch the tweet that Knight made before he deleted it? Basically calling certain challenge members fake as f*** for pretending to be Diems friend now. I seriously cringed when I read it.

i didn't see it, but i'm glad he realized that now is not the time for calling people out and deleted it
also, did anyone else find it a bit offputting that bananas put out such a heartfelt, soulfull tweet about diem, only to follow it up with one of his usual immature bs tweets a few hours later?
I'm taking a really big guess in that he got that drunk because a close friend of his died...alot of people drink to numb their pain...obviously wouldn't recommend that because it doesn't make the pain go away.

Knowing how involved he was with helping her and how close they were I see no problem with it. Everyone needs to keep living. And he's not the only one.
Diem and fellow Challenge vet CT had a roller coaster relationship, and even though the couple had broken up at the time of her death, CT still visited Brown during her final hospital stay, and even posted his support for her and MedGift on Instagram. And even though fans loved to see them together on the show—Diem brought out CT's sweet side while CT helped Diem feel comfortable in her skin after chemo—it was always such an inspiration to see Diem end things with CT and compete on her own, because we all know CT wasn't always the best guy for her. We loved seeing her strong, independent and fierce.
This was postedd on E! and it really upsets me. I wish someone who truly knew what they were at the time of her passing would post here. I know CT's good friend Wes. M said that Diem was CT's girlfriend but, all these stories are so conflicting. I dont want to turn things away from Diem but this is upsetting. Whether they were together or not, CT was Diem's friend and he is in mouring. How horrible it would be if he were to come across this article.
I've been struggling to find the words and nothing seems right. I know some believe that "everything happens for a reason" but I can't help but feel like it is unbelievably unfair that anyone would beat cancer twice to then suffer so much the third time and not make it. A coworker asked me why I was so sad if I didn't even know Diem. I tried to explain how that didn't matter and that it felt like I did know her from watching her on MTV and following her career for almost a decade. I told him it was devastating that a 32 year old young woman with such a love for others, zest for life, will, determination, tenacity, giving spirit, etc. was no longer on this earth. I wish I was 1/4 of the woman Diem was. I'm heartbroken over her passing and it's amazing to see how many feel the same way despite not knowing her personally. It's a testament to what a special person she was. Diem radiated sunshine, she was sunshine personified. Sending her family and loved ones light and strength. I saw this and she immediately came to mind:
2. Regarding Knight...I think he's just immature and doesn't understand a lot of things about life. I've never been a big fan of Diem on these shows (most of us know that) but I've always respected her as the fighter she is. I'm sure a lot of the cast members paying tribute to her right now weren't her friends and didn't feel close to her. That doesn't mean they didn't respect an aspect of her or want to acknowledge the FACT that she was an inspiration to many. When someone passes people tend to forget that bad and focus on the good. Ideally, people would be able to do this while that person was still alive but it does come with death. Diem was still a part of their lives...just like many of us feel she was even though we may have never met her...and they have the right to acknowldge her in the way they see fit.

People should have some respect.
It's horrible. I keep seeing peopel say things like "CT is this and that" and he should have been there with Diem through this. Straight bashing him and it's like if only they knew. But they both made the choice to be private and the is the fall out of it. Anyways, those people don't matter. Chris knows and her friends and family know what their relationship was and that's what really matters.
On another note, indirectly, we could learn yet another lesson from Diem: to not be afraid to love who you love. There was so much time wasted in anger and pettiness and ego. Their time together was cut so short and it's cruel. It can reimnd us all to forgive people who hurt us and if you love someone, let them know. Don't be afraid to be honest about it.

1)He right though but its a game in which this happens. Like was once said they get along fine when they aren't there but in the game shit hits the fan.
Cooke posted an instagram of her and yeah even though they didn't get along of course Cooke is going to be upset that she died. People who weren't her friends are going to be upset and post about it because at the end of the day they are all one big family no matter how much they all fight. Everyone on the show even if they didn't like or get along with Diem always respected her strength and her being a fighter. This is a time where all of them should be becoming closer and mourning together not agruing over who was her friend. At least Knight deleted it.
Also people who commented on Nany's picture or saying shit about Bananas' tweet are ridiculous. They still have to live their lives and everyone mourns in different ways. Bananas is in NY right now so I'm sure he was drinking with people who were also close to Diem to try to deal with this horrible loss. Bananas and her were extremely close so no one has the right to judge him on how he handles this situation. No one from the challenge should be judged. Everyone part of the MTV family is devasted by this.
It was self-righteous baloney that was basically telling off other cast members that they were fake for saying nice things after she died. It was completely shallow and so ill-timed.
I knew the cancer returned but was stunned when I read in the paper this morning that she had passed. Horrible way to go, but she fought with dignity and deserves to be remembered for the good she did especially in the last 11 years. Not much else to say.
Whats really still bothering me is if Diem ever accepted her fate and became at peace with it. She was such a fighter to the point where its upsetting, and it sounded like she still had the fighting mindset just 2 days ago. After going through so much pain and suffering most people just say enough is enough and become at peace with whats inevitable, its heartbreaking that Diem seemed like she would take more suffering if she could survive. I really hope she was at peace with it before she passed, I wouldnt want her to be as upset as we all are right now before she passed. Seeing the tribute vids its sad thinking she was in so much pain these past few months yet she was so happy in the vids
I'm smoking a bong in honor of you Diem Brown. It's crazy how your life has effected so many people, most of which have never met you. So here's to you. You will be sorely missed. RIP Diem

One of her friends had a quote that was posted on here that made it seem like she was at peace with it at the end.
Im just waiting on MtV to air a special. I want to see her and see what everyone remembers about her....i cried some today. I had a bad feeling in my stomach. Its all too sad.

I was just thinking about this as well. Maybe they won't do a regular challenge reunion or just do a uncensored type of of thing or a special aftershow. I'm intrigued.
A few comments: Knight is super immature. I hope he can take things he learned from Diem and incorporate them to help himself live a better more respectful life. He should honor his friend.
Bananas - I don't know what to say. Diem was very vocal about how much he helped her during her second battle with cancer and I respect that but his tweets especially in the last couple weeks as she worsened, I just found in very poor taste. I actually had to stop following him. I know he likes to come off as a clown on Twitter but he was probably worried and scared and didn't want to look uncool. Very highschool lol.
I don't think anyone should be trashed or called fake for posting about Diem's death. Whether they never met her or only spent a week or two with her, or maybe didn't agree on Challenge politics, or shared mutral allianes, or talked outside the house.... they all share a bond that only maybe 350 people or so have experienced. I feel they all have a mutral respect for eachother deep down. I actually would find it in more poor taste if a Real World/Challenge vet didn't post something about Diem then if someone who fans saw argue with Diem or someone she wasnt tight with posted something.
As for the CT stuff, I dont know why E said that or even why D was always so secretive about it . It annoys me too when articles say that stuff but his friend flat out said that his friend lost his girlfriend. Reardless we all know titles with them never mattered, everyone saw they were in love. Yes it would be nice if articles showed CT more respect or people close to D would be more open about CT but they for whatever reason don't. Did anyone see the article that posted 2 hrs before Diem's death? I dont remember the website but it was discussing how they are going on Exes 2 as Exes but are very much together.
It really doesn't matter if Diem & CT were together or not at the end. They loved each other even if they couldn't work things out. Nothing else matters.
Relationships are never perfect. All that matters is how he feels.
Quite honestly, it isn't anyone's business if they were or weren't together. I realize going on these shows means your life is never truly private but they don't owe anyone an explanation.
Glad to see both of those posts. Johnny Hickey also posted on FB (not visible if you were not his friend) where he called Diem the love and goodness in CT's life. They have been together since Rivals II ended. WIth all of the hate she got after that show (on here and other places), can you blame her/them for choosing to keep their renewed relationship private? Remember. she was getting death threats from someone who knew where she lived for God's sake!! For those of us who were fans of hers on the show and in her life's work, I am glad they found their way back to each other and so happy that her dream of a family, a husband and a white picket fence was always with Chris Tamburello in the picture. Hickey also asked that people not post a gazillion things to CT but leave him alone so he can heal. The poor man (my words) lost his brother and the love of his life. His grief must be immeasurable.
I'm not sure what the big deal is about Johnny posting other tweets that are unrelated to Diem? He posted a really beautiful post IMO and it's very clear they were very close and she meant a lot to him. Everybody grieves in their own way. Plus, as far as the last couple weeks, maybe he didn't want to continuosly post updates or prayers for her or whatever. There's no rule that you need to post your thoughts on social media, especially about an ill friend/friend who passed away. And just because he's a television personality doesn't mean he owes anybody anything. I think helping Diem out privately and not posting about it shows more than being all vocal about it. Just my opinion.
(I haven't actually looked at his Twitter though, so I have no idea what his tweets actually say.)
There was also a comment on mtv from someone who has a mutal friend with CT. The commentor asked how CT was doing and the mutual friend responded, he's destroying stuff.
Also, I'm wondering when her funeral will take place. It is going to be so sad but I believe they may make it more of a celebration. Diem loved music and she loved to dance. I can see them maybe incoporating that at a Repass or something. Im sure she will be burried beside her mother. Still so sad about this.

Rest in peace, Diem. Always a fighter.

Julie Rotondi? posted never before pics of her and Diem on her instagram page. And Megan responded. I think it is her first time reponding to anyone.
Okay Laurel posted a photo of Diem smiling in a dancing pose... that one got me. I'm crying now. Go look at it. It's on her twitter.

I think it's prob t he IBT posted? http://m.ibtimes.com/diem-brown-chris-ct-tamburello-dating-again-mtv-cha...
That article is getting a lot of hateful comments, I don't see why. One of the few articles that is correct on the terms of CT and diem
It really doesn't matter if Diem & CT were together or not at the end. They loved each other even if they couldn't work things out. Nothing else matters.

Well, to end the debate this 2 people know Chris not his TV personal CT in a personal level they confirm him/Diem were together:

who cares if they were together or not. he's grieving and thats all that needs to be said. So over that question.
