Any updates for all stars 2-4? Also any updates for 38-40?
it's always weird to read back like how Coral was in legit talks for 30 & 32, Tori turned them down for 31, Tonya choosing to not do Gauntlet 2, possibly getting Becky and Cara for sexes 1. Crazy how they come up with a cast.
honestly ive taken a step back from this thread awhile ago since im not as into the show as i used to be but maybe one of these days can try to update some of it
no worries, I get it. Season 40 and the all stars seasons get me excited because it people I actually care about but lately the others haven't done much for me - I still haven't finished ride or die and haven't started 39
I have that same mindset. Ride or die's was another season with a good theme but majority of the teams were a stretch. And it didn't help hearing all the reports of actual ride or die's being dropped for the usual production favorites. And 39 had NOONE I cared about and was pretty much the Challenge USA.
It seemed the only actual "ride or dies" from shows were Tori/Devin, V/Darrell, Johnny/Nany and Laurel/Jakk.
Its funny that V was the one who asked Darrell to be her partner. Lol. Honestly never really saw them as besties. Darrell should have been there with Kendal or Janelle.

ROD would have ate like 10 years ago when they casted from Real World and would have had an actual history of people were friends

Aviv said in an interview on the challenge podcast that she was contacted for an all stars but never saw the message till it was too late, and that she was supposed to be an alternate for 40, was contacted late for it then right before was told she would be on the cast.
also Jodi said yes to all stars 1 but due to covid restrictions in Germany it was too difficult for production to get her so there and had to drop her since there wasn't enough time.
found this random article - still would have LOVED Julie to be on All Stars 1 - she think Aneesa got her spot. I don't get why Julie hasn't been back for any of the all stars yet.

It was for all stars 2 . Marie/Julie spots went to Melinda/Casey.
