They pulled that type of shit in the Rivals I final between Wes/Kenny and Bananas/Tyler where Wes/Kenny had like a 45 min lead that got cut to a few minutes heading into the 2nd stage. That being said it was impressive that the Americans were down 5 minutes (and didn't have their strongest players so to say) and caught up to the UK team.
It's interesting bc I've always been skeptical of timed finals but now they don't have the time and day 2 is less grueling. So it's rivals 1 all over again. They should've just done a really long all day final like FM1 Where Wes/Casey arrived when it was super dark out lol

Also can we make an official stat whereby if you make it to a final without going to an elimination and then lose that final it's called a "Cara Maria"?
