Like I get it The Challenge is a reality tv show but it's a competition based reality tv show. It's not the real world or BGC where they just sit in the house and fight all day. They are competing for money and that is what people watch for. You can include drama but it's suppose to be added in with the challenges and eliminations each episode. Change is good but only if done right and whatever they are doing is wrong.
Plus, you gotta glue people in the first few episodes to keep them watching all season so the beginning has to be lit and so far it's not. Hopefully this doesn't hurt the ratings.
I'm just now realizing how much I enjoy competition til tonight. I like that the storyline is being hardcore driven by the newbies and that they're fighting and such but I feel that in a sense it takes away from the competition and that they should realize that yes we want the drama but don't over proportionalize the drama and cut it into our competition time.
They need to have a balance. This season it's been way more drama focused and people aren't happy. Nobody hates drama we just don't want it to be 90% drama then the challenge being squeezed in at the end.
Well assuming next week it's just finishing the challenge, Simone/Ashley drama, deliberation and elimination. Hopefully they fix this wierd schedule after the episode.

It also kinda doesn't help that the drama is pointless and involves people that everyone hates in the first place(AYTO).
Watching next weeks sneak peak with Simone vs Ashley... That was lame as ****. They both takin an L. I was expecting verbal draggage. Hoping there's a round 2

I'm still lost at the ghetto *** ***** comment.
Like we takin it there now? Smh-- idk what they were even talking about. Next episode looks tragic and there's no elimination either because everyone seemed to be in regular clothes.
I just dissected the promo of next week's episode and you can see all 7 teams that are safe as they're watching the elimination round. The only 3 teams that can't be seen, therefore up for elimination are Amanda & Nelson, Johnny & Jessica and Thomas & Simone.
I hope it's Amanda that sends Jessica home since Jessica has been been abrasive about her on social media. Not that I like Amanda, I just dislike Jessica more. Lol
Also, I find it quite shocking that another team did worse than Dario on the challenge. Judging by their terrible performance, I thought for sure Dario and Nicole were going into the elimination.

Reilly and Jess, probably. There's no way those two will be able to reach the platform if Dario couldn't. He's about the same height/build as Johnny, and Jess is shorter than Nicole if I'm not mistaken. That said, they've gotta stop with these height-related challenges. I feel like Simone and Thomas wouldn't even be that bad of a team if they had a challenge that Simone could actually compete in.
the eliminations are my favorite part so i'm slightly disappointed, but overall i really like the editing so far this season. the first 6 or so episodes of bloodlines had TBCs and no eliminations and then i think that season picked up, so hoping the same for this one

Well 2. Episode 3 was tbc. Then episode 4 was tbc. However we got episode 5 & 6 the same night. But atleast then we got full challenges.
With all the DQ's if they had eliminations every episode there would be like 5 teams left at this point. Yall ***** about every **** thing, apply to MTV if you want to change the format of the show. Otherwise, **** & continue to watch with your superfan *****.

Word. Have they proceeded with their regular format and we have had eliminations every episode, we would have had 6 teams eliminated by this current episode; #4. Knowing that another team DQ's and with the inclusion of Dev and Chey, by episode 9, we would have all 12 teams eliminated and the three remaining teams would be in the final. If they have a one episode Final we would be 2 episodes short this season, from the original 12 episode season slated, not including the reunion episode. This format regulates for these unforseen mishaps and I think MTV is handling it very well (or well enough to satisfy MY needs). They are giving us more rookie exposure, even if that means it's mostly AYTO. I prefer that over seeing Bananas',Sarah's, and Nany's tired faces AGAIN (which they could have easily taken that route). We all know with Simone and Amanda out next, AYTO is no longer going to be emphasizd to the extent that it has. This means, more time for your faves to get an episode or two in.
This season is like Bloodlines where everything is a mess and the rules keep changing. It's really turning me off. They did a challenge last week where it didn't even matter. What was the point of that? And now Devin/Cheyenne get to come back just because Brandon quit.....so stupid. The other teams will be ****** off because they won't get a second chance after being eliminated.

From a production standpoint, these challenges have to be planned and coordinated ahead of time. They had probably already paid to have that challenge ready to go. Plus they spend time before hand setting it up. I understand why they would want to do it and air it rather than do it and not show it or not do it at all. It would be a waste of money on their end.
Everyone saying "oh if they had normal episodes we'd lose a lot of teams " that's bull shit. Exes had 2 people dq and no replacements so don't act like this is the only way they could have handled it.
Y'all sure love spending your day talking about how a show should be rather than enjoying the show for what it is. Jesus Christ I never knew how many adults could act like such babies, always whining and crying about something so stupid like a reality tv show.

Exactly! And the two teams that got DQ so far got replacements. So like you said, we wouldn't have "lost a lot of teams".

Right. Because we're all supposed to just sit back and just like everything about this show. We're never supposed to critisize it and DISSCUSS how we think it could be better.

Girl this is Vevmo a reality tv/tv forum dedicated to talking mostly about any and everything related to The Challenge. We got on this site for that reason and that reason alone. This is the only place were we can that do and we enjoy that. If you don't like it the log off button is above and better yet the disable your account button is in the settings. You are free to do either one of those right now. No one is holding you hostage of seeing us complain about a reality tv show that many of us love want to see do better. It's that simple.
You are just mad Kailah that hardly no one agrees with you and your logic about the challenge so you want to come for our lives like you always do but if the shoe was on the other foot like I've seen from you before you would probably be saying the exact same thing right now to someone else, so give me a break. Next.
okay but can we FINALLY see an elimination? lets go back to the challenge- elimin format, thats my favourite part

Proportionalize thats all.

I can't wait to see Amanda go home. I hope someone wrecks her in a physical elimination.

It's going to be embarrassing for J & J next week they either lose to Tom & Simone or Nelson & Amanda. Lameeeee
Queen Ashley killed last challenge <3

They should have had 14 teams to begin with and an alternate team like on Bloodlines. They had 2 DQs and still kept the pace.
Y'all sure love spending your day talking about how a show should be rather than enjoying the show for what it is. Jesus Christ I never knew how many adults could act like such babies, always whining and crying about something so stupid like a reality tv show.
Does anyone actually knows if this season is 14 episodes? I have seen the runor online, but idk where it came from.
Then it would make sense why some episodes are being stretch
