You seem to forget that this is Bananas' source of income aka how he makes a living. Unless BMP paid him a significant amount to throw an elimination or something along those lines (again, fan fiction), I doubt he would lose on purpose for a friend's wedding.

He did pull in 250K earlier this year + his appearance fee for Rivals 3 + his appearance fee for this one. For a guy that lives in a house that he doesn't pay for and has a girlfriend who's an Olympian and makes bank off of endorsements and such it's not like he'd be destitute if he didn't win this season...

And if his plan was always to lose on purpose, why not do it the first week and get it over with then?

I don't want to act like I'm defending it as a definite when it was just a thought, but Johnny has a pathological need for attention. Why wouldn't he stay and be on TV as long as humanly possible? If he stays late he gets invited to the reunion. He has more potential for storylines to get invited to aftershows. His entire identity hinges on his exposure and notariety from the shows...so why would he just show up and leave first? It would be more in line with his personality to stay as long as possible.

Again, I'm not saying this is what happened, all I was saying is that, considering the event that is happening this weekend and Johnny's relationship with Evan, it is something to think about.

Ok this i agree with. I still don't think he would purposely lose, but it's not like he has much going for in his real life so i can see him staying there for as long as he can just to enjoy his experience. 

I hope he leaves backpack style though

Why would Backpack come on this season at all if he was planning to go to Evan's wedding?

This isn't even a crazy theory and would make sense. People have done the same thing before Mike on Bloodlines and Abe on the Island (which was for a wedding too). Don't even like Bananas so either way it doesn't matter to me but I wouldn't be surprised if it went down like this.
