So is this thread dead now?

yeah when is the next update

It'll be updated tonight hopefully.

Hey guys, again SO sorry for the delay but I have not forgotten. Life got in the way, etc. Promise to finish by this Sunday.

15. Alton (Gauntlet, Gauntlet 2, Inferno 3, Battle of the Seasons 2)

When you think of the best competitors of all time from the Challenge, chances are Alton is one of the first people to pop into your head, and with good reason. The guy was a BEAST. On the first Gauntlet, he won like almost every ion lifesaver (or whatever they were called that season), and completely dominated. He and Irulan were like the ultimate power couple, and apparently production’s worst nightmare. When Irulan was eliminated and the Road Rules team applauded, Alton legit almost murdered somebody. He’s probably best remembered for his performance on Gauntlet 2 though, where he was the rookies team captain and continued to beast it in competition. His team basically looked at him as if he was a superhero, and anytime he performed even slightly average, it was genuinely shocking and a blow to the team. He never competed against the best competitors in the eliminations (his opponents included Adam K, Danny D, LT, Jeremy, Tyrie), but seeing how effortlessly he defeated them was impressive. Watching Alton climb up ropes and poles in like .1 seconds will never not be entertaining. Plus, watching him defeat Danny D by like tapping him and sending him 400 feet will never not be hilarious. Alton finally made his return to challenges on BOTSeasons 2 and quite frankly, he was a little different. But it made sense, because the show is so different now, as well as the people. I think he was a bit too mature for this new group, but still he just seemed very off and paranoid the entire season. Almost like he didn’t care about the game. But he certainly cared for his bromantic partner, Dustin. Also, he refused to wear a speedo once because his ***** is too big. Literally, pretty much everybody has commented on Alton’s ***** at some point, so good on him!

15. Sarah R (Ruins, Fresh Meat 2, Cutthroat, Rivals, Battle of the Exes, Battle of the Seasons 2, Rivals 2, Battle of the Exes 2)

Hey, Alton’s BOTSeasons lover Sarah! Sarah is one of the more surprising “challenge ******”, when you consider her RW season. However, it’s very clear from her challenge seasons that she loves games and competition. She started out strong making it to the end of her first challenge and performing solidly throughout, and casually arguing with Katie (“casually” meaning it caused Katie to throw plungers everywhere) and casually flirting with Kenny (“casually” meaning pathetically following him around like a little girl and letting him walk all over her). Still, she was impressive. However, that soon seemed to get to her head because on her next 2 challenges, she had an enormous chip on her shoulder (remember her and Laurel’s bullying of Cara Maria on Cutthroat? I don’t even like Cara Maria but they really scapegoated her) and then she couldn’t even finish the final challenge! Then, she dyed her hair blonde and got a lot more likeable and looks a lot better. However, her luck completely turned. She constantly got paired with terrible partners (Katelynn, Vinny, Trishelle) and even worse, usually her partners screwed her over, like when Vinny pulled Mandi’s top down and Trishelle quit, both times forcing Sarah out of the game. Her reactions to having to leave both times showed how much she cares about the game (aka too much, because yikes was she melodramatic about it all). Still, it sucked for her. Thankfully for her, she finally came to play on BOTExes 2 and got saddled with Jordan, a solid partner, and played a perfect political game, ultimately winning. I doubt we see Sarah again, and I’m not too upset. I have nothing against her, but she’s a little wishy washy to me. Still, I was genuinely happy for her on Exes 2.

14. Darrell (Gauntlet, Inferno, Inferno 2, Fresh Meat, Ruins, Fresh Meat 2)

At one point, Darrell was 4/4 on challenge wins. Easily the most impressive challenge record. Plus, he managed to do this without ever going into elimination until the very end of his fourth challenge. Still, even with that impressive record, Darrell never really stood out. Like, he was obviously a good competitor but he was always overshadowed by other competitors like Miz, Theo, Landon, CT, etc. And in general, he stayed out of drama. Hell, he was mostly memorable back in the day for pronouncing Inferno “Infuerno” and wearing an afro wig and fake teeth. Still, Darrell was a welcome presence. For awhile, it seemed he would keep his perfect record but then came the Ruins…this was easily his most dramatic season. He argued with Wes, he wasn’t completely “in” with the JEK crew, and of course the infamous argument with Brad. Brad instigated the whole thing in his drunken stupor, but did Darrell ever finish it. He clocked Brad so hard, it’s insane how big the welts were on his face. Truly one of the most memorable challenge fights, but sadly it cost Darrell the game. Since then, he’s only appeared once and was eliminated first. It’s a shame he hasn’t come back to redeem himself, and it seems producers aren’t interested in him. I’d like to see Darrell back, if only for his old school presence. Plus, his fight with Abram after Abe’s inferno win is still hysterical to me.

14. Laurel (Fresh Meat 2, Cutthroat, Rivals, Free Agents)

Laurel is one of the best female competitors this show has ever seen. Hell, she could put of the men to shame. It’s just truly insane how good she is at these competitions. But most of all, Laurel is a terrifying individual. I mean, she has a ******* hit list. A HIT LIST. Who TF does that on these shows? Only Laurel. Also, while Laurel could beat pretty much anybody physically (and has beat everyone she’s competed against on the show), her mouth is what’s most terrifying about her. And no, I’m not talking about the alleged mustache everybody brings up. I’m talking about the way she verbally eviscerates people like it’s her job, mainly Big Easy and Paula. Laurel taunting Paula in hopes to make her cry was actually horrifying, even if you kinda knew Paula absolutely deserves it. Laurel pulls no punches, bringing up weight (whether it be obesity or anorexia). She just goes right for it. Plus, I’m convinced she just stares deeply into the darkness of everybody’s souls and sucks it right out of them. She’s basically some human grim reaper. Her relationship with Cara Maria is one of the more interesting of the newest era of challengers. They started as enemies on Cutthroat and quickly became friends through Rivals and then she kind of turned her back on her on Free Agents. I don’t know where they stand now, but you can’t deny that you had some investment in them even if you didn’t care for one or both of them.

13. Evan (Fresh Meat, Duel, Gauntlet 3, Duel 2, Ruins, Rivals)

It feels sort of weird to talk about Evan knowing the allegations against him and why he is no longer appearing on these shows, but still he was a major player for a long time on these shows. Sadly, those were some of the show’s darkest days IMO. The era of the JEK takeover was redundant, predictable, and above-all mean-spirited. It just wasn’t all that enjoyable. However, it wasn’t always that way. When Evan debuted, he was immensely likable, funny, and crushed it competition-wise. He and Coral were the ultimate team and killed it each mission. They probably would have won the challenge if they weren’t both injured. Evan was one of those people that you enjoyed, but at the time nobody wanted the FM to return. So when the Duel rolled around, the backlash began because everybody thought FM was a one-time thing. Evan was still pretty likable on the Duel, but then came Gauntlet 3. Aka “trim the fat” aka “get rid of the women”. The worst part about it was seeing Evan slowly start to turn on Coral despite claiming he wasn’t. It was clear where his allegiances were, and it was honestly frustrating because they were so fun together before. Of course, Evan fatigue continued and reached a high point on The Ruins. The problem with Evan was that he always acted all high and mighty as if he was this really good person and it was others (like Wes or Johnny) who were the real ********. Like when he taunted Tonya, eventually leading to her slapping Veronica, and then having the audacity to act like he wanted to comfort Tonya. Of course, knowing what we know now it makes the situation even worse.

13. Susie (Extreme Challenge, Gauntlet 2, Inferno 3, Ruins)

Susie has one of the most interesting challenge directories. She started out as this kind of meek girl who was basically an embarr***ment competition-wise. She struggled hardcore on pretty much every mission on Extreme Challenge on what was easily the worst Road Rules team in the history of the show (4/6 RR teams won their seasons) and then made a surprise comeback on Gauntlet 2. Still, even then she was kind of an emotional mess. She was funny, but still kind of a crybaby. Literally, one of the major ads for Gauntlet 2 was just a clip of Susie crying. Still, she performed well enough and built a huge friendship with Cara (and alleged threesomer!) that continued onto inferno 3. This is where the Susie we know now really came to be. She suddenly became ruthless in getting a win, going so far as to having her BFF throw missions so she could win the lifesaver. It ultimately paid off, because she only went into 1 of the 4 Infernos she was nominated for, but it was still shocking to see. And quite frankly, many people turned on her for it. It was a selfish way to play the game and on top of that, she participated in the “I Hate Tonya” club which is incredibly immature even for the people on this show. But especially “goodie two shoes” Susie. Still, it was interesting to see her shift dynamics. She also stepped up her game competition wise tenfold and became a political mastermind by the time the Ruins came around. She had JEK and the females (sans Veronica) wrapped around her finger that season, and even though she had to win a few eliminations, she ultimately won a challenge for the second time. Her elimination against Kim was one of the most entertaining female eliminations ever. Susie was always good for some one-liners as well. I’d be interested to see her come back and see how she handles this new crop of challengers.

12. Brad (Battle of the Sexes 2, Inferno 2, Gauntlet 2, Duel, Gauntlet 3, Duel 2, Ruins, Cutthroat)

Oh Brad, the ultimate nice guy with the hothead. Brad was kind of the Leroy of his challenge era. He was genuinely nice, and it was hard not to love him. But Brad probably cared more about the game than Leroy did. He was somewhat paranoid on his first few challenges, and of course he was considering he started right when voting off rookies was the cool thing to do. Brad probably got screwed more than anybody else in that regard on his first challenge. Still, Brad was always entertaining, and performed solidly. His “Balls In” elimination with Abram is one of the best ever, even for such a simple concept. And of course, Brad gifted us the atomic wedgie to end all wedgies. “AND NOW IT’S A NECKLACE!!” And “Congratulations, you’re a meathead son” are two of the most enduring challenge quotes ever. And he still has one of the best “corny clue scenes” when he asked told the cardboard cutout of Randy that they had a clue. Brad was one of those people you desperately wanted to win, and Brad felt the same way. It’s kind of a shame that his last 2 challenge appearances were probably Brad at his least likable and most volatile. Watching him self-destruct and drunkenly attack Darrell and get demolished was truly sad to watch, but you couldn’t help but understand. He was saddled with the worst team ever (including ******* CASEY) on his 7th challenge without a win. Then, on Cutthroat, he finally got his win but on some level, it was not very fulfilling as a viewer. Brad and Tori were arguably the villains of Cutthroat, something Brad had never been up to that point. Their treatment of Camila was disappointing and the Red team as a whole was just kind of gross with their scapegoating of Brandon and Camila. I was honestly rooting against them, despite wanting Brad to win for some many seasons. It’s a shame that that was his final challenge, because it does taint him in some way. But I still love Brad, and choose to remember him for the many seasons of hilarity and coolness he gave us before that.

12. Rachel R (Battle of the Sexes, Gauntlet, Battle of the Sexes 2, Inferno 2, Island, Duel 2, Battle of the Exes)

Rachel was one of the first elite female competitors on this show. She’s always been an awesome competitor, even if she didn’t start as beastly as she was touted to. She is most remembered for her relationship with Veronica. The “are they or aren’t they” was genuinely interesting. Like, everybody needed to know if they were having sex or dating or what!! Of course, as it turns out they were apparently dating off camera and even had their own clothing line together. Of course their most memorable moment came (no pun intended) with their shower threesome with Abram. Easily top 10 most memorable challenge moments of all time. Then, she was part of the Mean Girls, with Veronica and Tina. She was actually kind of an instigator, which she had never really shown herself to be up to that point. But she wanted to make sure people knew when Tonya was ************ and when Tonya threw Beth’s clothes in the pool. Rachel took a very long break from challenges, and allegedly from Veronica. For awhile, it seemed we would never see either of them again on a challenge because of their strained relationship. Of course, Rachel came back along with her new weird haircut. She wasn’t too impressive on the Island, which is quite frankly the worst challenge for somebody like Rachel, a true athlete. But she did give us a gem when she asked Kenny “what show were you even on?” But she came back and killed it again on Duel 2, winning the “individual” challenge without ever seeing an elimination. Rachel also gifted us with arguably the most memorable challenge quotes of all time: “This game is ugly, the inner circle is ugly…” and it’s actually hilarious rewatching BOTSexes and seeing her having trouble remembering Veronica’s name, considering what happened next. Still, her elimination from that season stands as one of the more shocking and entertaining eliminations ever, even without the physical aspect to it.

11. Abram (Gauntlet, Inferno, Battle of the Sexes 2, Inferno 2, Inferno 3, Island, Cutthroat, Battle of the Sexes)

Hey speaking of that threesome, here’s the lucky guy who got to be part of it. Not a bad way to be eliminated from the show. Abram started his challenges as basically the mini Miz. They literally called him that, and then he was eliminated by the real Miz in a nice case of irony. Honestly, Abram was kind of a **** his first few challenges. His treatment of Katie was despicable on the Inferno. I mean, his whole team’s was, but the way he ultimately mocked throwing missions to get rid of her was cringeworthy, and just made you root for Katie even more. He also had many memorable arguments, with Darrell and Tina to name a few. Plus, didn’t he throw Susie into a pool and make her cry? Still, Abram sorttt of mellowed in more recent seasons. I mean, he’s still crazy and weird, but he seems to be at least a tiny bit more mature. He doesn’t just lash out for no reason so much anymore. He just…does weird shit with Cara Maria. They have the oddest relationship (strictly judging from their challenge seasons) but they seem happy so more power to them!

11. Evelyn (Fresh Meat, Inferno 3, Gauntlet 3, Island, Ruins, Fresh Meat 2, Rivals)

Honestly, I kind of hate Evelyn. Sorry to say, but I find her to be incredinly unlikable, cocky, and ultimately annoying. With that said, I cant deny that this chick is super impressive as a competitor, especially when you consider her size. She’s not an amazon the way Laurel is, but she kicks all kind of ***. Didn’t she compete with a broken rib at some point? I forget but she has some serious skills and resilience. However, I still can’t get over her treatment and righteous indignation during Gauntlet 3. The way she ripped Big Easy a new one as he was basically dying and her treatment of Coral are permanently ingrained my memory. And don’t even get me started on her treatment of Luke during the Fresh Meat 2 exile. Even TJ was disgusted with her, because she was a total sore sport. I was supposed to root for her on the Island because of the way Johnny Bananas treated her, but to me it was just karma for all the shitty ways she talked about people in the past. And I still think, while smart, it was a complete coward’s move to take the deal with Johnny at the finale of the Island. It was like she got Stockholm Syndrome or something. With all that said, I will say I genuinely did like Evelyn on Rivals and I think she showed growth on that season, so much of my dislike comes from her earlier seasons. Still, can’t argue that she’s a challenge all star.

Next up: top 10! I am going to do 2 guys and 2 girls at a time for top 10 so hints for tomorrow's update:

- 2 people that have been partners together on a challenge

- Somebody who probably cried on every challenge they appeared in

- The ultimate challenge nice guy

Rachel is wayyy too high IMO but YASS for Susie.

I agree with all the women on this update. All of them are ******** and are so intimidating.

1.Diem & CT ?

2.Paula ?

3.Landon for sure!

Loving the list!!

1.Diem & CT ?

2.Paula ?

3.Landon for sure!

Loving the list!!

Maybe Aneesa and Diem for number 1?

Ok, I don't usually comment.  But, I find Laurel's placement to be wrong.  IMO.  If this list is based on competition she brings it.  If it's based on drama she brings it.  I'm not saying she should be number one, I just really think she deserves to be higher.  But this is your list, so you do you.

- Somebody who probably cried on every challenge they appeared in

Hint: Look at my avatar

Great update. I'll go into detail about some the people in the update.

For the next update..

I want to say Mike and Coral but I think both would be top 5 so I am thinking Derrick and Diem.

Paula easily comes to mind.

LANDON!!!!!

She does bring it, that's why she is in the top 15. There aren't many positions left. And IMO there are 10 women more iconic left.

For reference, here are the remaining people:

Men: Derrick, Wes, Theo V, Mark, Kenny, Bananas, Timmy, Landon, CT, Miz

Women: Katie, Coral, Beth, Diem, Veronica, Julie, Paula, Aneesa, Emily B, Tonya

Can't believe Emily is still there tbh. She pulled two power moves and flopped in the end... merp. But OMG Katie, Beth, Julie, and Tonya are bad*******!!

Reading that list of who's left I now think it's probably Timmy and Emily for the next update. They were paired together on Seasons 1.

I also hate that Kenny is in the top 10. He's already way too high imo.

I also hate that Kenny is in the top 10. He's already way too high imo.

Me too but you have to admit, Kenny changed the dynamics of the game

Eh, the way I see it, this list is about what everyone did on these shows and not how they did it or how they personally entertained you. With that said, I'm fine with how Kenny is still in this. I also agree with how Laurel ranked, consistent brought something to her Seasons and her/Cara Maria storyline is probably one of the better ones from the modern seasons.

Mike/Coral, Aneesa/Diem, Kenny/Wes, CT/Diem too. There's some other possibilities.

- The ultimate challenge nice guy

fixed.

  1. Kenny and Tina nvm I forgot Tina was already ranked
  2. Paula
  3. Landon

fixed.

What did you even do?

Ok, I don't usually comment.  But, I find Laurel's placement to be wrong.  IMO.  If this list is based on competition she brings it.  If it's based on drama she brings it.  I'm not saying she should be number one, I just really think she deserves to be higher.  But this is your list, so you do you.

Reading that list of who's left I now think it's probably Timmy and Emily for the next update. They were paired together on Seasons 1.
They make the most sense.  Maybe Derrick/Diem.  Although I hate that Kenny would be ranked higher than Derrick or Timmy.

Time for Kenny & Paula to get the **** out.

Top 4 men: The Miz, Wes, CT, (insert whoever here)

Top 4 women: Coral, Beth, Katie, Veronica

On second thought, couldn't Timmy be the ultimate challenge nice guy?

I thought Derrick and Diem too but I feel like Diem would be in the update after the next one probably and I would say Mike/Coral but I feel like both of them would be in the top 5 so yeah like you said Timmy/Emily seems to make the most sense here with Paula and Landon rounding it out.

And yes Kenny being ranked over legends make me sad.

On second thought, couldn't Timmy be the ultimate challenge nice guy?

He's more of the funny guy IMO but he could fill the nice guy role.

But I really feel like it's Landon.

fixed.

What did you even do?

lol.

I also still like Brad despite Cutthroat and the behind the scences shady buiness he would partake in. He'll always be one of my favorite castmembers. I agree with his gameplay tainting his Cutthroat win but all in all I would like to remember Brad as the nice guy with a hot head and am glad that he went out on top.

Sarah..I gotta admit I really didn't expect her to be a challenge ***** but she became one and had a good journey on these things. She's not my favorite but I'm glad she also went out on top.

Evan and Evelyn....BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

laurel..Only good thing she has ever done is let Paula have it. She was horrid otherwise.

Darrell is cool and he had his moments but he rarely got airtime though.

fixed.

What did you even do?

lol.

I didn't even realize it was you. I'm not trying to be a ****, I really don't see a change.
